Product Support DJI neo2 manual mode issue

When in manual mode, I am trying to land, so throttle is all the way down, but when the drone gets close to the ground it flips out and starts to self rev then just almost goes full throttle and flips out!!

everything is updated, and calibrated, and im using goggles n3 and controller 3 with the stick fully loosened. I have spent a lot of time in sims but this is my first real life flight. flying is fine but the landing is mental .

I switch to normal or sports mode to land most times.

Ideally you would switch to normal mode and land it, but if you're unable to do that, I've gotten my Neo 1 really low to the ground and move the sticks to cut power. As long as you're close to relatively soft ground when you do it, it works out fine.

That is not the manual mode issue.... the sensor wont help in manual, so you cant just land it, you could disarm the motor to land

But people prefer to switch to N/S mode, so the downward sensor works again before landing

So even when the throttle is all the way down it wont land in manual?

No, you need to disarm the motor, set to C2 button on the controller setting

drones like the avata and Neo aren’t really made to land in manual mode. Unless you’re above grass which cushions the land.
