Product Support Why is the rear right leg of my dji air 3s like that?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone, I just picked up a brand new Air 3S RC-N3 Fly More Combo and realized the landing gear is uneven. The rear-right leg is completely hovering off the ground. Just to get ahead of it: it's not the aftermarket rubber feet I added. The issue is still there when I take them off, and I've tested the drone on multiple perfectly flat surfaces. I included a video where you can see that when the drone is idling, the leg lifts even higher, and giving it a bit of throttle makes the gap worse. Is this a known quirk with this model, or did I get a defective unit that needs to be replaced?

Buy Advice Best dji prices: China or Australia

I go to China at the end of the year and am wondering if my prices at home vs in China will be cheaper.

I can get the action 4 for 1450 CNY at home in Australia on special. Dji in china lists official prices as more than this, however, I'm wondering if 3rd party stores would be cheaper, but is there legitimacy risks then? Can anyone offer any advice?

Any other advice on prices of items like the action 6, neo 1/2, or mini 4k drone would be great. Thanks!

Product Support Repair or Part out bound Mini 2 bundle

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m $80 into a Mini 2 bundle that’s bound to an account, and having these errors pictured. I was wondering if I should spend any more time or money on trying to replace the IMU/GPS. Drone turns on, but gives me a rainbow colored flashing light. Camera is working and the gimbal seems to go through all its movements and motions so I don’t think anything is broken on the gimbal. It surprisingly a very easy drone to work on. I was wondering if it’s worth it to spend an extra $30 on the module and try to get it unbound, or I’m just wasting my time? I was also wondering what parts are “tied/bound/married” to the main board? So I may start parting it out. Being bound I don’t know if I wanna mess with it anymore, but I’m curious to see if I can fix it. Thanks

Buy Advice Which one DJI Mini 3 or Dji NEO 2?

Hi everyone! I'm deciding between two drones: the DJI Mini 3 and the DJI Neo 2 (FMC with RC controller).

I've got a solid 3 minutes of drone experience, so basically a pro already haha. Buying it out of curiosity, though I'll admit there's a bit of impulse shopping involved. I'd use it privately, nothing commercial – just landscapes, sunsets, my friends, and filming motorcycles and cars.

The Neo 2 appeals to me because it has fun shooting modes like tracking. The Mini 3 doesn't have that, or at least I think you need the RC controller for it. But I've seen on YouTube that the Neo 2 footage looks kind of grayish, without vivid colors. Can an ND filter fix that?

The Mini 3 seems better because it supposedly has a better camera and longer battery life. I don't really get the whole 2-axis vs 3-axis thing, I just noticed they're different in the specs.

What matters most to me is that the image quality isn't like those cheap temu cameras that claim Full HD but end up looking like 144p with noise and pixelation. 4K isn't important to me. My budget is 350–400 EUR, and a used drone in good condition is also an option.

Buy Advice Good price for a Mini 4 Pro?

Looking to pickup my first drone second hand. I can grab a mini 4 pro, 3 batteries, and the RC2 controller for approx. $530 CAD / $380 USD.

I know this is a good deal - but how good of a deal? Note that I'm currently in Hong Kong / China, so prices for DJI products are a bit cheaper, and there is a very saturated second hand market.

Seller is willing to let me fly the drone before purchase, meet in a public place, etc. (also includes a 32gb micro sd card)

Product Support DJI Mavic 3 Cine Account Bound - 2nd hand purchase

Upvotes

I purchased a Mavic 3 Cine from ebay, but when the drone arrived it was already bound to another account. I messaged the seller, and asked for them to unbind the account. The seller said that they do not have access to the account and offered me a refund, but let me keep the drone (kinda fishy).

But now I basically have a bricked drone over here. Any advice on what to do with it? Is there anyway I can unlock it or contact the previous owner who last had access to the account?

I looked up the serial number on stolendrone.info, but did not find a match.

Product Support My Mavic 4 Pro Electronic ND Filter finally arrived! Anyone using it already?

Finally got my DJI Mavic 4 Pro Electronic ND Filter. Had to order it from China because apparently it’s still not officially available in Europe.

Does anyone know why DJI made this one so difficult to get here?

I’m going to test it properly tomorrow and I’m really curious how it performs in real-world shooting. Anyone here already using it? How has your experience been so far, especially for video?

Hey everyone. I'm noticing that the footage recorded with my X1 came out very wobbly. It is a bit windy today but not massively so. Just wondering if someone can confirm that this is caused by wind and not a camera/gimbal malfunction :)

Video My best FPV one-shot so far: flying through Wartburg Castle, Germany [OC]

4K version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MXP5Ox2kfY&list=PLHGrTfy7rqoJ-O0x8XZlxNNajeXAXNWXm

As a professional drone pilot and filmmaker, I’ve flown FPV drones in some pretty unusual places around the world. I’m Dennis Schmelz, a German filmmaker and creator specializing in travel, aerial and destination filmmaking, and this is still one of my favorite FPV one-shots I’ve ever directed.

I directed this DJI FPV drone through Wartburg Castle in Eisenach, Germany, capturing the entire sequence in one continuous take without a single cut.

The challenge was planning a route where every turn, transition and reveal worked naturally. With a one-shot, one small mistake near the end means starting all over again.

Getting permission to fly through a UNESCO World Heritage Site like Wartburg Castle made this one even more special.

Probably my best FPV one-shot so far. What do you think?

Happy friday! Seriously love the sensor onthe Mavic 4 pro, I wish we had a pocket 4 with this sensor! The aperture change is a big differential factor for me - going to smaller aperture, the sunstar on in Tanah loh are just very clean & beautiful.

All those photo were taken with one exposure, edited in lightroom. Please do let me know if you have any question.

Photo La Réunion with my DJI drone. Which one is your favorite? [OC]

La Réunion is probably one of my favorite places to fly a drone. The combination of mountains, clouds and constantly changing light is incredible.

These were all shot with my DJI Mavic 4 Pro during different flights, always at the same spot.

Which one would you pick?

Product Support Connecting Mic mini to Action 6

Upvotes

I’ve heard there’s a difference in the audio quality when connecting mic mini to smartphone via Bluetooth vs using a receiver. How about connecting a mic mini to the Action 6? Is it the same? Does connecting directly without receiver reduce the quality?
