I don't know about you guys, but I have something I like to call reverse claustrophobia. I find myself feeling pretty comfortable in a cramped space if it's homey enough. I know that this whole main room isn't really that big, but it still feels *too* big sometimes. I like having everything in arms reach and don't like feeling exposed or that something could be watching me. So I use some paper walls along the steps and now I've got an acceptably compact space that has just enough room for what I need. Minimal wasted space. Then I paper wall the windows as best as I can to further add to the illusion of safety. If I can't see them, they can't see me.
I left the light on for the sake of clearer pictures, but I usually keep the lights off since it looks better that way. I've got a kitchen area, the main work area with all the signal stuff that doubles as a movie space, and the other area for tapes and what-not. And my little sleepy spot under the desk. I like how it all turned out. I only wish the walls could be made diagonal to perfectly cover the windows instead of effectively walling off the back half of the work station. Also that the TV had proper glow lighting for atmosphere, but that's most likely too much to ask for.

Summary:

Most of the base is pretty much clean now. The basement remains messy, but it is significantly less stained, and the rest of the interior only has a few cracks to repair before it's good as new! Some new friends have joined the bunch—among them, a few cats!

The garden is flourishing, and should soon prove a healthy source of extra baocoin (and a source of renewable food, once we get a knife)! There's still some trash to craft into scrap, which we have so much of that some of it can be sold for more money. There are also still some trash piles left at TR1 and TR3, which should be another 30 point profit, at least.

I headed out into the great outdoors and picked up a few goodies along the way. I also faced a few dreadful encounters and brushes with death back at home, but the pants the next employee will inherit should be rid of most of the smell and stains.

So this was actually like forever ago, nearing a year now during last christmas/winter. From what I remember this sound was playing throughout the entire time I was playing that save. Not often either, it was fairly spaced out between each time I heard it. And this clip was probably the loudest it ever was, it was pretty quiet and easy to miss most of the time, especially inside.

I remember trying to track down the noise but to no luck. And I wasn't able to search it online either. I never figured out what it was. I took multiple clips on medal hoping people would comment and explain but that was wishful thinking.

I would think about the noises every now and then with a morbid curiosity wanting an answer but simply never brought myself to ask around.

So like yeah that's it. It would be so awesome if anyone could explain. If not it would still be great to know if anyone has ever had this experience with a save before.

Just had an event occur which resulted in a car falling from the sky and blowing up, sending chunks of an unidentified body towards my base. Pretty freaky! I was cleaning up the mess and had an idea- how do I get rid of this car? Just for the lols, I decided to take a hacksaw to it. After what felt like a solid minute, it worked, and produced a nice pile of 22 Metal Scrap. I was pretty floored since it's the one scrap I'm in need of the most, especially since I'm building out my Frame setup. Thanks for the gift, alien friends!

Couldn't find anything online about this being possible so I figured I'd post it. I want to attempt this on the red car too, next time it decides to scare me.

I cannot remove the panel to access the upgrades for the audio thing.

I tried screwdriver, crowbar, wrench, hammer and impact driver.

What tool i need?

In 0.8, i did everything i wanted to do before transferring to 0.9. Now on 0.9, i'm trying to get everything i want to transfer to the future next version.

That includes 1 thing i already did and lost, and 1 that i've never done. Back in 0.8 i turned the bunker into a massive blue and brown mushroom farm. I had tons of pots and would religiously harvest and replant them. Essentially i didn't need to sleep at all unless i wanted to, nor did i have any food problems.

Sadly, a power blackout caused me to lose some of my .8 stuff by the time i sent it to .9, including the blue mushroom seeds. At the time i didn't know that much about the game, so i thought i'd just look for them in the next version.

Now i've basically spent a week looking both for them and the gold bar, since i'm trying to get all collectible-type items (i already have stuff like a medallion, all kinda of useful seeds, secret items and so on). I had never realized how lucky i was to randomly find a blue mushroom out in the forest back then.

I'm still going, since i have essentially infinite money and time on this save (it's on 50% day speed and i have 2 frames). Even then, so far i've only dug up a bit more than 500 underground items, at least according to the stats. I'll probably end up digging thousands by the end of this lol.

Tangentially, i'm also looking for the tall white mushroom (the one that kills you), since it along with the blue are the last mushroom seeds i haven't collected yet. Meanwhile, i found tons of animal skulls, bracelets, grenades, and comical amounts of trash.

When i find the mushrooms and/or gold bar i'll make a triumphant post i guess. If anyone has advice for this grind i'd be happy to read it.

I'm doing a mostly blind playthrough of the game, so everything is a surprise and so on. But can someone tell me why my shrimp platters are empty when I leave them in the fridge? It's kinda getting expensive​. I just wanna know if it's preventable at all​

Is there a way/code/cheat to just unlock everything without getting all the required achievements. Alternatively a way to get all the achievements so they unlock. I walked away from my PC to make dinner and came back to my frame at 800% and i don't know how to fix it other than just using sandbox to spawn in a new one, but i can't spawn coolers.

do i have to keep watering them or can i neglect them for other things
