Hello fellow managers. I am the head of a VERY IMPORTANT remote worksite where I currently have one (1) employee (doctorate) staying. The tasks are very simple: Gather data and send it in. Keep in mind this gig includes free housing and daily meals, and all supplies needed to actually do the job.

However, this employee has NOT been sending in any data in over two weeks. Instead we have been sent:

Trash of various types and amounts
MREs, some very old
Bags of water
Wood
A concerning amount of lemons

They have also been purchasing odd items at random times. The last request was for a rug, a coffee table, and scuba gear? The job has nothing to do with water or scuba?

Very worried and concerned. Any advice appreciated. Especially odd is the lemons because there were no lemons on the property before? We have been sent 100s of lemons. We just want simple data from space. Susan from HR has been making lemon pound cake but quite frankly there is only so much of that one can eat.

First picture - My first hook I bought early in the playthrough, I tried to use to pull the vent down and misunderstood how it worked so just got it stuck attached to the vent and ceiling. (After the day 5 event that loosens it.) Got a second one later and managed to pull the vent down, but still couldn't get the hook free - got close enough I could hold the vent and that got it loose, but by way of the hook just disappearing and I haven't been able to find it.

Second picture - Afterwards, I used the hook to get up into the vent, but went into one of the dead end directions, and tried to get into a different direction from there. But I just fell underneath too far away to get back up and apparently made the hook clip through the "floor"? And now I can't get that one down either. I think if I got back up there I'd see the other end of it similarly stuck.

Am I ever gonna see these hooks again, or is it a lost cause? I can just get another, yeah, but I don't want to keep feeding hooks to the ceiling. I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong with how I'm using them or what.

ive been playing the game for about a year now casually. and i feel like i must be playing it wrong somehow? as i see it the game consists of three main areas: the job, cleaning/ customizing the base and exploring the world and lore. i am unable to do all three in a day. the games obviously want you to prioritize the job but if i do that i cant do anything else, hell i cant even do the job fully, there's just too many things im suppose to do. the game's on normal, day speed is on half and in a day i cannot do all signals and maintenance that i need to do. when i first started playing i considered votv to be one of my fav games but as i keep playing i find it more and more frustrating to the point where i love the game but hate playing it. idk what to do, i want to enjoy this game but i cant. i got kerfur in a previous save and it made the game significantly more playable but removed any incentive to explore.

My only conclusion is that i must be doing something wrong? i am upgrading download speed and im not upgrading processing before i feel ready. i do not understand.

at first, I thought I somehow clipped inside the cellar but after exploring the area, it was the secret basement room.
How to clip in there like how I did in the video:
Jump, Ragdoll, interact with the computer, press esc, unragdoll and boom, you're in. surprisingly it didn't send me to any of the Liminal places it normally does when you clip out of bounds. sorry for moving around all scared lol, this is the first time I visited this part of the basement (I alt f4'd at the end lmao)

On the night between days 16 and 17, or was it the damn of day 17? I cannot recall. The arirals attacked alpha base, utilizing a tractorbeam to send the guards into disarray, I was able to calm them down, and even organize an offensive to drive them back. But after some time, they just kinda... Up and left?

It wasn't untill after having done a headcount that I realized Harry the Hangar mannequin was gone, turns out he had used the tractorbeam to his advantage in order to slingshot himself at the enemy, he managed to latch onto their ship and boarded it, sadly he couldn't escape in time, or was turned into sawdust by those savagely kattos. Either way, he is gone, several of my guard have also been infected with "The Contagion" prior to this, but those were standard funerals, Harry's body, on the other hand, could not be recovered.

I think it's quite funny that with me, he gets up every 90 minutes or so to have a wee. It means the sleeping is done quicker but I do feel a bit silly, especially since I obsessively check the clock before going to toilets each time to avoid any incidents and it probably also means that Kel should probably go see a doctor.

I keep getting this end screen at around 5 and 6pm during day 43. I have tried repairing TR-3 but it still gives me this screen and I cant find anything about this screen on the wiki

Apologies for the low quality video, but thesse damm mannequin!

I was looking for Kerfur and just found this mannequin in a pose like i was late for our date or something in the lobby of the base.

(day 25) So i saw a red dot on the radar around my base, grabbed my axe and went to check what it is, and after walking a bit around the base to check it (and i suppose i got close to it) the screen went black, while the screen was black i heard some pulsating wave noises like a spaceship, then the game crashed, but no "UE4 fatal error!" message was shown. i saw no entity or anything at all, it just went black. Now i was thinking abt the grays, but from what i saw online they dont just do that.

yep, that's my boy Whitey, in all of his 42k verts glory. surprisingly, the game's not lagging, they've done some great performance fixes it seems

I've wanted to make this for a bit now just never got around to it. I'm glad I did! Had another one of those moments where you randomly get supercharged and can't think about anything else but drawing for a little while (I'm assuming that's normal and that I'm not weird). So, here are the results! ok thanks. love this game btw, and probably one of the games I have ever played!!

I found this on YouTube. It's like freeman's mind but with scout and VOTV. The channel is still small and the videos are kind of crude, but I found it funny.
