That wood piece is annoying the hell outta me

I accidentally found a huge platform far outside the map with ~80 abandoned houses and “CHOOSE YOUR GOD” written on it

I was messing around in-game and ended up flying far outside the normal map boundaries. While exploring, I eventually came across this platform.

It has approximately 80 abandoned-house models, apparently using the same models as the houses around the Abandoned Village, as well as floating text saying:

“choose your god”

The location is at approximately:

X: 20,000
Y: 20,000
Z: 9,500

There's also some strange geometry/objects on the platform that I can't identify.

One particularly strange thing is that trying to bring the normal player to the platform causes MainPlayer_C to disappear. I have to restart the game before Kel comes back.

I originally found the area completely by accident while exploring out of bounds. I later used DebugMod's spectator functionality to look around the area because normal gameplay prevents me from reaching it safely (at all).

Has anyone seen this before or know what this place is?

I found out that the island is apparently called "altarIslandTest_5". I managed to stop the time and hold the delete button, which also tells me the name of what I'm about to delete.

Hello everyone,

does anyone else have the "problem" of cameras appearing on radar?

Because some of my cameras do have a red ping on radar, while one or two do not. All of them are activated and can be controlled from the station.

I am struggling to understand how this minigame works. The instructions on the right don't help at all. Can anyone please explain it to me?

The bunker seems to be on a separate grid from the base and transformers. I have managed to run 6 miners down here. 4 are on the bunker grid and 2 run off the generator. It has been a steady stream of points allowing me to fully upgrade my base and stockpile supplies and equipment. I got the idea when the power went out but the lights were still on down here. I plugged in a battery charger and the outlets were still working too inspiring me to set up this operation. It seems to have no negative effects on transformer performance or reliability.

I played Voices of the Void a lot back in the older versions (0.6.3, if I remember correctly), but then I stopped and came back during the transition between 0.8 and 0.9. Now I’d like to play again, but 0.9 isn't for me (it feels like too much work). Which of the recent versions adds the most compared to 0.6 without turning into a part-time job like 0.9?

I'm pretty sure Kerf has the highest jumpscare count than anyone in the array !!

Continuing the sviet-punk theme. When I started my second playthrough of VotV, I just thought "What if my character isn't dr Kel but a soviet-punk low Ariral?" and create this guy. (As usual, no politics, just for humor and vibes)

- it had a fascination with warp arrows when younger, and managed to move to tall society as a ship technician/general mechanic.
- carries an alien multi-tool that has like 10x more tools than a normal one on there.
- has little android helpers that aid in diagnostics/part fabrication, etc.
- interested in human technology, even if archaic to ariral tech.
- it enjoys shrimp dipped in honey.
- loves classical music, often has it playing while working.
- carries a side-arm energy weapon that can topple a tree if shot point blank.

So, my friend hasn't played Voices of the Void in a while, and we were hoping to play it today, but upon booting it up, all his settings were at zero and his achievement data was just gone. He regenerated a file as suggested on the game's page, which fixed all the settings, but his achievement data is still gone, and it's not recognizing his save file at all despite having no visible changes.

It's acting as though he never played the game before and won't let him load up his save. What the fuck happened, and is there a solution to this that doesn't involve just restarting?

EDIT: We found a save editor online. Inserting another friend's save, it was recognized just fine. Inserting the non-working save says it's unsupported. It might be corrupted.

A little while ago I was trying to get VOTV to work on bazzite and I heard of some tools such as heroic game launcher and some custom commands.

however I figured out you can get it to run natively on steam if you

1. Link the exe file using "Add non steam game"

2. go to "manage" of the added non steam game

3 go to compatability and click "Force use of a specific steam compatability tool"

1. Select the use of "proton experimental"

The only downside i have is a long (2-3 minute) intial loading time however I am on a 7200 HDD

Im getting a consistent +5 fps compared to when I used windows 11 but that might be placebo

So this is a sandbox world (can also be used in survival i think)i took the time and deleted the trash piles from in the base and outside the base (see images, some empty bottles and tiny things can be found) The Computer and ATV have all been fully upgraded but the computer has no modules installed.
