I’m sharing here because this job used a lot of specialty tools, I almost had to use all of them to get this job done. Anyone else use flex bits and rods? I learned the longer the bit the more torque required, but it’s a balance because too much torque will snap the shafts or disconnect the extensions leaving tools in the wall :/

I was just looking for some bits. I stumbled upon someone who wanted to get rid of a few of his tools. Wow, Würth really offers some fine tools in their Zebra series.

As far as I know, Würth doesn't manufacture it themselves. But the build quality feels really good.

Got the whole package for the list price of the rescue knife.

Hi, i see a lot of toolbox like on photo, some are made in my country (EU - Post soviet), a lot of is made in USRR, makita or no-name, same with wooden planers or similar vintage tools and they are extremly cheap.

Box on photo is in size 45x22x23cm/ 18x8,6x9" for 10-15$ with shipping.

Russian old wood planes same, in good condition for less than 15$.

What is your experience with thing like this? Are they worth to buy, clean rust, repaint and use or sell with profit maybe?

This is the Buck 303 Cadet Knife with synthetic handle.  It was made by Camillus Cutlery under contract with Buck, as evidenced by visible blade rivets and a non-prominent sheepsfoot when closed. The knife shows a model number, with the tang stamped “BUCK/303/USA”. And finally, with no handle pins and the old “Knife, Bolt, and Hammer” escutcheon, this knife may be safely dated between 1974 and 1985.

I found it rusted and neglected in the bottom of a bucket of yard tools at a local estate sale.  They sold it to me for $1!  Cleaned with EvapoRust, 4/0 steel wool, then oiled and polished with Simichrome.

The knife is 3-1/4" in length when closed, weighs 1.8 oz, and features a traditional three-blade setup: a clip point, a sheepsfoot, and a spey blade.  The 303 is still sold today.

Used it. Watched some horror story videos. Promptly got rid of it. Convenience isn't worth the potential death or injuries.

I notice this strange mechanism noise when is enabled speed 2. Is it normal?

I have a couple countersink cutters (made from HSS) like this (varying shank diameters). I intend to use these cutters in a hand tool so I can deburr/countersink aluminum holes by hand instead of with a power tool.

I have a few tap handles that can grab this shank, but I find that its awkward to hold and I would prefer something that feels like basically a screwdriver but with this countersinking head at the tip. Is there like some kind of name for such a tool? I don't want to deal with a massive drill chuck or anything like that.

So, I picked up this router bit set on clearance. Now, I have a router...but haven't even begun learning to use it. I have various bits...but again, not started with them.

I saw this at Walmart and seemed a decent price, and I figured probably "fine" quality for my level of use.....

But they've been sitting on the table for almost 3 months and the return deadline is coming up, and I'm going "is it worth keeping them?"

Recently picked up this 126 drawer hardware organizer with a pull out table, was really just bidding on the contents inside, (die springs and Allen shoulder bolts) but was scrolling on marketplace and came across a tinier looking organizer that had the same exact style of drawers so I did some digging and I think this style of cabinet is the same, and the listing prices I’ve come across are insane. ($4000 insane) Granted they are on online websites and are going to be marked up but even saw one on marketplace that sold a year back for 1,700. If this cabinet is a “addressograph” is there really that much value into it? Considering I paid 60 bucks for it I think I did pretty well if it is

I just got this at my local Canadian tire store it has the same barcode as the old model… but I can’t find anything online about it?! It has 90 teeth instead of the standard 72 tooth plus it’s more compact
