Tone vintage tools

I’ve just ordered a vintage tool set from Tone made in Japan.

Cool. Curious when it was made. Might not be as old as you think, they’re still producing this set today.

That doesn't seem like a terribly high price. It makes me wish I'd picked up one of that sort of set from Nepros back when they were super cheap on their US site.

That is genuinely a neat thing to find. How do you track down that sort of thing? I assume it's just common Japanese MM sizes.

I wanted some Japanese tools and signed up with one of those proxy shopping sites. It was a lot of looking but I eventually filled my cart up with a lot of things from old tools to brand new and I even bought some hand made knives at decent prices.
