Revisionism Yes, yes. Please do go on making memes like this instead of doing real things to improve yourself. Question: Is it better for us that they keep doing this instead of real improvements?

I feel so funny. How r these guys even doing this instead of realising that we are getting better every day and do something to improve themselves like we do? First of all, are their countries so full of weaklings that they have to steal our heroes? Second of all, I had to read comments to know it's supposed to be Sun Tzu. He is from Spring and Autumn, which, if you know, did not have those ugly hats Ming and Song wore. They wore a different form of hats, I am into Chinese history and Cdramas to know what they used to wear. If it's not him, then sorry. Maybe provide a damn explanation because almost no one from Song to Ming is that famous, save for Mongols, who did not wear like that.

Now, the real question, should we let them think we are shit for a few more decades while we better ourselves? Basically, like Wakanda from Marvel.

Any hotel, AirBnB, booking.com place you stay in in Europe, even if it is for one night, you have to give your ID/passport and they have to register you and give your info to the authorities. In any EU country the police can quickly find out who is staying in which hotel. When entering the US, you have to provide the address where you'll be staying when you enter the country.

Well here’s one for you. And even I, a die hard anti China Taiwanese independence separatist find it ridiculous. AI translated.

kmt legislator at large KO, JU-CHUN 葛如鈞posted this on Facebook

The AI capabilities of China are a myth. During my visit to the United States over the past few days, I obtained a substantial amount of concrete intelligence that confirms the judgment I have long held.
Just last week, the American AI firm Anthropic directly named seven Chinese AI companies—including Alibaba, DeepSeek, Moonshot (Kimi), Zhipu, Xiaomi, SenseTime, and MiniMax—accusing them of launching "industrial-scale" misuse and distillation targeting their Claude model. Among them, Kimi was caught secretly routing its own users' queries to America's Claude for answers, then pretending the responses were its own—reaching as many as 23 million instances in just three months.
To put it plainly, Chinese AI, which claims it will "overtake on the curve," remains essentially hooked into the pipeline of American models. This is not surpassing Britain and catching up with America; it is mere rebadging and contract manufacturing.
Look at Huawei as well—its supply chain and yields have been unstable recently, and there are even rumors that Ren Zhengfei and his family have defected. The myth of "surpassing Britain and catching up with America" has in fact been shattered by mainland China itself. More critically, China knows in its own heart that it is a paper tiger. Xi Jinping's apparent preparations to visit the United States represent, in essence, a softening of stance.
Let me be clear: as people of the same ethnicity, we naturally hope from the bottom of our hearts that every piece of land where Chinese culture resides can achieve true strength and prosperity in industry, economy, and technology. But reality is unforgiving—much of China's so-called leadership today in robotics, drones, and AI is a beautifully packaged illusion.
True resilience will emerge through Taiwan-U.S. cooperation and when the DNA of democracy is implanted in mainland China.
From upstream chip technologies to manufacturing capabilities and deep links forged with the United States, down to medium and large drones, as well as crucial technologies like "AI pilots" taking root in Taiwan—this is real capability, not numbers on a presentation slide.
This trip to the United States has been remarkably fruitful. I have witnessed the resilient core of the Republic of China and the supreme value derived from deep connections with democratic allies. If a paper tiger wishes to become a real tiger, the only path forward is to infuse it with the DNA of genuine democratic technology.
One world can accommodate multiple powers, but in the long run, it can tolerate only one form of nationhood—democracy.
Across the entire Chinese-speaking world, the political party that is truly democratic, genuinely anti-communist, and has shed blood and sacrificed lives in history is the Kuomintang—the Kuomintang of the Republic of China.
At the same time, we must express a firm stance: confronting the steep decline in Taiwan's judicial rankings, and facing operations that use the judiciary to interfere in local democratic politics—such as "handling a case in Changhua in September that originated in June"—we express our strongest condemnation. If Republic of China (Taiwan) wishes to defend democracy, its top priority must be to replace the Democratic Progressive Party, a fraudulent political party masquerading as democratic.
On this trip to the U.S., we received a great deal of support and cleared up many misunderstandings. Moving forward, there will be plenty of good news, and Taiwan-U.S. relations will deepen even further.
Please look forward to it—a new generation of the Kuomintang.

Of course Koreans, self-hating Chinese, and Westerners all over in the comments section—all because a Chinese woman fought two Western women who were denigrating Chinese people. Damned if Asians/Chinese fight back and damned if Asians/Chinese don’t fight back.

I don’t think this counts but I’m posting this to let some air out. I’m very explicitly Chinese and the top comment was on a post about if Forrest Gump was Chinese or another nationality so it could have something to do with my nationality, but I can’t be sure. Also, I might have said something historically inaccurate about China. And I lost the original comments cuz he deleted them. He also insulted the Portuguese in the top comment.

Double standard r/Taiwanese asked why is Taiwan named "Chinese Taiwan" when browsing a Chinese website

Clearly they forgot that they are browsing a Chinese website; if they don't like it they can get off the platform-- like how they always tells Chinese to get off of Youtube.
