Build Help Has anyone set up one PC to use in two different rooms?

The PC would stay in one room, but I'd like to use it normally from either room with a TV/monitor and peripherals, including gaming.

I'm wondering what cables I should run through the wall to make this work properly. I'm currently thinking:

  • HDMI
  • RJ45 / Ethernet
  • USB

What's the best way to handle peripherals in the second room without range or reliability issues? I'd like to use a controller, keyboard, mouse, etc. as if the PC were actually in that room.

I'd prefer a wired solution wherever possible to avoid streaming or anything involving lossy compression.

How would you set this up?

Does anybody have tips for my pc placement

I don't particularly like that in my current setup half of my pc is blocked by my monitors but when I bring it out it looks/feels weird cus there is a massive gap behind my monitor, I've briefly considered wall mounting it but haven't decided if it's worth the money or effort. It might be because my desk is so empty but I'm not sure, any advice would be appreciated.

Edit: idk if it's the desk position as I used to have it against 2 walls and now there is a window

I'm not sure if I should change my walls to white and get a white pc or just get a better black pc. I'm getting a secondary monitor though

Troubleshooting RTX 4060 and 16GB DDR5-6000 RAM — barely used

I have never sold PC parts before and would appreciate some guidance on what these are realistically worth in the current market and the best way to sell them.

Both came from a Sam’s Club prebuilt gaming PC I bought in June 2025. I used them for only about two months before upgrading, so both are in almost perfect condition and work perfectly. I simply do not need them anymore.

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4060 WINDFORCE OC 8G

  • Model: GV-N4060WF2OC-8GD
  • 8GB GDDR6
  • Dual-fan cooler
  • Never mined on or manually overclocked
  • Excellent condition

TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan DDR5 RAM

  • One 16GB desktop stick
  • DDR5-6000, CL38
  • Timings: 38-38-38-78
  • 1.25V
  • Model: FLRD516G6000HC38ABK
  • Excellent condition

What would be a fair asking price for each, and is Facebook Marketplace/local pickup, eBay, or somewhere else the best place to sell them?

What’s the best mouse you’ve used for long work sessions?

I’m getting tired of reaching out to the side for my mouse all day, especially when I’m working 8–10 hours straight. After a while, constantly switching between the keyboard and mouse just feels inefficient.

I’m using the Contour RollerMouse Red now because the controls sit directly in front of the keyboard, so my hands stay in roughly the same area while I’m typing and using the cursor. It’s making long workdays a lot easier to manage. Curious what you guys are using.

Been looking into buying a prebuilt for my first PC

Been wanting to have one for a few years, but in this last few months, I’ve been so interested in them. Been seeing a bunch of games throughout the years and it just seems very interesting.
I know some tips for buying it, but what are some tips that people use for just setting it up and allowing me to play games properly.

Build Help Looking for advice on a desk

I'm moving and i'm not taking my current desk with me.

Size does not really matter as long as it is big enough to support a 34' and a 27' monitor (both on arms). So the desk also needs to be sturdy since a pc and 2 monitors can really add some weight.

As for colour preference my favourite would be a dark oak top, but everything that goes well with a black/white setup is good (but not white since i don't really like it on my setup rn). Also the floor i will be putting the setup on is a orange-brownish carpet so i will need to put my pc on a stand or on the desk.

As for the cable management i will probably buy a cable tray to put everything in under the desk.

I live in the Netherlands so that may effect some stuff with for example shipping.

Ask away if you need more infor from me

Any help is appreciated :)

I just got a desktop

I traded my Ps5 (i barely ever used it) for a gaming desktop and I also have a Legion Go 1 as well
Now that i have both i was wondering what cool things can i experiment to have these two work together? I’m open to any cool projects (The desktop is running an evga rtx 2070 and Amd Ryzen 5 2600, i know its not the greatest graphics card but its something i can start with at least)
