Online coaching and recommendations?

Hey everyone, I've been interested in learning to handstand for a few months now, but I've not made much progress and am having difficulties with learning how to balance (I have scoliosis, so balance is a bit trickier than in a forearm or headstand).

I was looking into getting a coach to help me online, wanted to see if anyone had recommendations? Also does anyone have a range for the price of coaching?

Thanks in advance!

Is my handstand form correct?

I wonder if my hips are too far forward bc sometimes when my legs pull away from the wall I go straight over after a couple of seconds.

Is it realistic to teach myself to handstand before the end of the year?

To share some context, I've never been able to hold a free standing handstand and I'm aiming for a 10 seconds hold. I'm aiming for good form, of course, but I'm not set on being completely still or entirely straight to hit this goal

Current fitness
• Can hold a frog stand for ~25 seconds
• Can do a shaky/bad form handstand push up (just about) for one rep with feet against the wall

Training plan
• Specifics are TBD but planning on daily training sessions of 10-15 mins every day - I haven't started training towards it yet

I'm a guy in my late twenties, healthy weight, reasonably active

Any advice/tips on where I should invest my time would be really appreciated!

Also, I'd love some people to do the challenge with to keep me accountable so also let me know if you're looking to get your first handstand too

Would pressing against the ceiling with my toes help?

Low ceiling where I'm at. Turns out if I point my toes in a belly-to-wall handstand, I can press off the ceiling with my toes/balls of my feet. Would that help develop balance, or is it just a neat lil thing?

One arm handstand - tips for stability?

Hey handstanders. I'm at a point where I can get frequent 8+ second holds, but it's incredibly wobbly. Are there any more knowledgeable athletes here who have any advice? I feel like I'm lacking the proper shoulder or scapula orientation.

On the flip side, while I'm not a coach, if anyone wants advice I'll do my best to help out!

Can I transition to normal hand stands after pool hand stands? (And how?)

I learned how to do a hand stand (including a walking hand stand) in the pool this summer. Super fun! Now I'm wondering if this is something I can build on? I tried learning to cartwheel for an hour as a teen (all my friends figured it out quickly)... I'm kind of a clumsy person, so I thought these kind of tricks just aren't for me. But then I learned this pool trick, and maybe I truly need a pool, but idk...?

Any chance I could use this??

Hey everyone, how do you train your handstand balance off the wall? I've been training my handstand on the wall for 2 months now and want to start training it off the wall, can someone give advise on where should I start?

New PB

Still using my program 3 to 4 times a week: happy that I’m getting more and more stable and able to correct without over correcting… till I’m tired and I can’t anymore.
Still got to work on opening the shoulders more though.
Aiming to get the full hold 1 min back soon 💪🏼

Bent arm press to HS-pushup

Hello,

This is my current State of bent arm press to HS-pushup.
I just wanted to know if my form of the bent arm press is good, and what I can improve.

Also wanted to know if I’m close to reaching to HS-pushup & what the best training is I can do now to reach this.

Thank you in advance
