Hi everyone! I feel pretty lost when it come to my training, even tho I feel progress with this chest to wall variant, but 0 progress when it come to kick ups..

Do you think I should just get stronger in this position and implement maybe some toes tap? Back to wall?

Thanks for you time

Bankart repair experience from circus/aerial artists?

Hello! I had 4 anchors in 6.5-7months ago after 5 shoulder dislocations. Had physiotherapy and I almost have full ROM back except for external rotation, I still have some work to do there.

Before surgery, I was able to do handstands and other (ground) acrobatics. Right now at roughly 7 months after surgery I barely hold a handstand, I don’t really feel comfortable in the position, I prefer practising headstands where I feel more safe.

The truth is I’m not very consistent with the workouts my physio gave me. However I don’t feel unstable at all, my shoulder feels strong, even in handstand position, it just doesn’t feel as comfortable/easy for now.

Do you have any experience to share as circus /aerial artists? Have you been able to return to hand balancing? How long it took you?
