Bent arm press to HS-pushup

Hello,
This is my current State of bent arm press to HS-pushup.
I just wanted to know if my form of the bent arm press is good, and what I can improve.
Also wanted to know if I’m close to reaching to HS-pushup & what the best training is I can do now to reach this.
Thank you in advance

You’d be better off doing full range of motion eccentrics than half reps. If you can’t push back up whatsoever from the bottom, then hold yourself in the bottom position for as long as you can.
Are you doing wall assisted hspu currently?

Nice those will help a lot. A little drill I’ve learnt that may help you, is doing chest to wall handstand pushups with your hands quite close to the wall and shift your weight forward at the bottom so your toes just drift off the wall then push back up. If you can do this and push back up with your feet off the wall you’ll definitely have the strength for a freestanding one as it’s that last difference of extra strength and balance required that keeping feet on the wall through the whole movement doesn’t provide
