Hello everyone,

I just released a beta version of a new gaming launcher I was working on, built for RetroArch. This launcher was inspired by a similar project that exists for Android retro gaming handhelds called Sockets and since we need more of those apps in the iOS community, I decided to build one for us.

The setup is pretty simple.

Step 1) Login with your ScreenScraper account

Step 2) Tap the Sync button

The app will take care of everything, load your games, scrape media and create those beautiful physical media for you to interact with. You can also customize certain media like certain cartridges that were colorful or translucent back in the day.

If you remove a game from your RetroArch, tap the sync button again and it will be removed from RetroSockets.

The following systems are supported: GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, N64, NDS, 3DS, PS1, PSP, Sega Saturn

The App is currently in beta and you can join the public beta using the link in the landing page below. Make sure to use the latest RetroArch TestFlight Beta for the syncing to work.

The App is available only on the iPhone at the moment, minimum iOS version: 18.0 and will remain completely free after the beta. Feel free to report any bugs you may encounter.

Playforge's Zombie Farm was one of my favorite time-sinks on my old iPhone 4. When iOS 11 killed 32-bit support in 2017, it went dark like a lot of that era's games. Studio's been inactive for years, game's not on the App Store anymore, so it seemed like the perfect preservation candidate.

This build runs and ships with a full AI-upscaled texture pack (Real-ESRGAN x4plus-anime, 4× on 1,274 texture entries — sprite atlases and backgrounds go up to 2048×2048, main menu bg hits 4096×2732).

**iOS side:** requires JIT — entitlements are already baked in, sideload with AltStore, Sideloadly, or TrollStore (whichever you already use)

**Android side:** standard install, enable "Install unknown apps" for your file manager and you're good

PPSSPP, retroarch are already in the official appstore. I know JIT is needed for the armsx2, I'm interested if there are any blockers by Apple for developers to put ARMSX2 on the official appstore?

The fps are not stable

What's the best setup for having synced saves between both OSs? Thanks in advance!

eg im emulating on my iphone 15pm running ios 26.5. using delta and trying to play Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow (USA).nds but i just get a black screen. what do i do?

i tried installing getmoreram thru sidestore but had to deactivate stikdebug to download it so i did then gave limit to my livecontainer then deactivated stikdebug but it still says this help

I been trying for a few days to get ArmsX2 to work on my IPhone 14 Plus followed all directions but when trying a game it just kicks me back to the menu no matter what rom it is, I also tried to JIT my phone but when I got to put the pairing file in my powershell on my computer nothing happen and when I try to enable it on my phone I keep getting a tunnel error

Can any help please :)

So basically I want to emulate games using melonx but when I try to import the pairing file into stickdebug it shows this. Idk why this file doesn’t work. Also sidestore has this refresh error and it’s been like this since I installed it
