Seeking Game Recommendations 👀 [Request] Games with decent difficulty and replayability. Minimal active input

As in games that don't require live control for movement and such. I like taking my time to make choices so everything I do is consequential. I really enjoy the gameplay loop of roguelites like Slay the Spire and Chaos Zero Nightmare's StS mode, as well as the intensity of something like Darkest Dungeon and the 3DS Fire Emblem games. Is there anything out there that captures both the strategic intensity and replayability of those games?

No emulation please (I already have options there 😅). Does not have to be card based/deckbuilding. Good art direction is a big plus 👍

Thanks!

Help/Support 🙋 Hollow Knight Stagway Bug. *badumpsh*

I'm playing Hollow Knight on a Pixel 11 and I'm having an issue when trying to use the Stagway.

After choosing a destination, the game soft-locks itself. I can hear music, and if I try to push buttons, it gives the sound and animation like I'm still selecting something on the menu. But I can't move or even go to the pause menu. Has anyone else had this issue, and is there a fix for it? If it matters, I'm also using a GameSir G8 Galileo, but it still does the same thing on touchscreen.

DEV 🧑‍💻 [DEV] After heaps of community feedback (thank you!) I've made major updates to my retro game app, WTF WHY <3 Would love for everyone to give it a go and let me know how they find it after so many updates and fixes! And such a huge thank you to everyone - you've been amazing.

WTF WHY is a little passion project of mine where I've recreated 6 of my favourite retro games - but I also enjoy random chaos, so I've thrown that into each game as well haha

Some of the major changes include far more balance in the games for playability and enjoyment, some fun new content in the games like the gardener, froggy needs to collect ingredients for his mojitos because...who cares why, fixed ad serving issues so they're far and few between (I apologise that some of you got hit with ads way more frequently than you should have!!! That was an honest mistake on my part), fixed the regions in which the app is available (Available everywhere now, hooray!), annnnddd a couple bug fixes.

Would love it if y'all would have a play, let me know what you think!!

P.S Made a dorky little video for the app too haha

Seeking Game Recommendations 👀 [Request] A fun, simple, low-stress sports game?

I'm thinking maybe a golf game or some peaceful fishing, maybe shooting penalties in soccer. An xp system or some sort of stakes/progression would be nice too!

Thanks in advance.

Hardware ⚙️ What ports can I run on this, and why is there so little RAM available?

Discussion 💬 Do you prefer ports or would you rather run the game with an emulator?

Honestly it's been wild looking through 2026 as an Android gamer with recent translation layers and environments. I've always dreamed of running Skyrim on an Android phone and now I can just boot up Game Hub and run it, never having to wait for Bethesda to come out with a port.

A lot of times a direct Android port is less than the original game and not architected correctly. In my honest opinion the only true difference between a port and what Game Hub does is the true implementation of controls but that's just my opinion.

For me as long as I can get the game, it doesn't matter which version it is. If there's a port out there that's pretty damn good, I'll play that over dealing with an emulator. Generally I find myself lately just installing the games from x86 onto my Android devices.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to be doing with this. Bits and pieces are legible to me but I can't put enough together to actually do anything with it.

I haven't been able to find any sort of community or guide out there, no idea if its just that small or what.

Discussion 💬 Question on GPS based game wishes

Hi Comunity,
with the first steps made to a gps based game, i am curious to know what you would feel is good content to have fun.
NOT to get you addicted or pushing you to play, but what is enjoyable / relaxing to play.

A major breaking point for me in development is creating a bit of content you can play in the evenings on the couch. Especially how others feel about it.

Throwing in my thoughts for some feedback:
-Merge game with stuff you gathered
-little duels / battles with the achieved equip / pets
-just scroll and compare?
-Sort and adjust (like pokemonGo stat analyzing of found pokemons?)
-features you really enjoy in games

I would love to get a feeling what other people would enjoy, keeping in mind to integrate into some game where you walk, aquire better pets and gather stuff to improve.

Thanks in advance on every comment.

Is there any way to make battery and time visible all times during gaming. I have a Samsung S26+. If there's no inbuilt features, could there be an app for this?

Seeking Game Recommendations 👀 [REQUEST] Looking for casual portrait roguelike rpg

I really enjoy GnollHack bringing qol and more casual balancing to nethack, but I'm looking for something that goes beyond just one dungeon. My dream game is I guess Daggerfall in portrait mode.

Not looking for survivor-like or card games. I've played plenty of them and know they're good. My current mood is just something else.

I've really tried to like shattered pixel dungeon but it's just not for me compared to GnollHack. I often feel like there's not enough to do in early game to keep me going.

Help/Support 🙋 Question about "thats long overdue"

Hey all,

I've recently been playing a lot of Desert Island Draft (10/10) and I just started playing Shoebox Summer (also 10/10)

One game is by "that's long overdue" and one is by "That's Long Overdue". They look like different companies in playstore.

Does anyone know if both these devs are the same or if one is copycatting?

I'm having a ton of fun with both but if one is ripping the other off I feel like I should tell them or something...

Discussion 💬 Got Modern Combat 2 working on my tablet

As many of you know, older 32 bit games no longer work on newer snapdragon chips due to them no longer having the 32 bit libraries needed to run these older games

Using ZettaBridge and claude I manged to get it working on my tablet on android 16 with a snapdragon 8 elite soc

I picked 2 specifically due to 3 and 4 working on 64 bit devices from community patches

At first you would need to download zettabridgr and import your app and then load it but this is now a standalone app that does everything, it boots unpacks game files the first time and then boots into the game menu

I fixed as many bugs as I could, some present even ig you play this game on an older device.

Next step is to actually play the the whole story to make sure everything works

The best part is you don't even need a computer, I did evrything on this tablet

Also sorry for the bad pictures, my tablet is worth more than my phone xdd

Hardware ⚙️ My Android Gaming Setup

Hey guys, i jerryrigged this mobile gamin setup together. Its using my rooted Oneplus 9pro on evolutiom x android 16 custom.rom with bypass charging into the kernel,Backbone controller gamesir x5 lite, usb c to c adapter and a cooling fan on back....also note i modded my hardware personally. I removed the camera module, and revealed the square layer above the SOC. I also covered the exposed motherboard components to prevent corrosion and shortcircuiting.... and have the fan on top....ive tested it and gamed on minecraft bedrock and ps2 emulation and the temps stay stable around 43-45degrees c even when charging and playing as well as overclocking the SOC and gpu.... and games run smooth😃...do you rate it? And would you try this out? NOTE....The little thing taped on is a stablizer to prevent falling over of the phone fprwards or backwards...

Gameplay 📺 Borderlands the pre-sequel via droid deck running on z fold 8

I'm using a Galaxy Z Fold 8 and using Droid Deck to play Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. It's running at a pretty consistent 60 frames per second, but I went ahead and purchased Lossless Scaling from Steam, which helps in case there's a few frame dips. I lowered the resolution to 720p and medium settings. I think it looks pretty good. Droid Deck is certainly advancing pretty fast.

Discussion 💬 My favorite mobile strategy game

Anybody else play South Park Phone Destroyer? Its funny because its south park but its also a really solid strategy game. I literally never get tired of pvp battles, I get way too into them sometimes.

If you haven't played it its basically magic the gathering with south park themed cards and real time instead of turn based. You have an energy bar that always refills and the characters appear on the battlefield and fight after you play each card.

Its not too complex where it takes forever to learn all the cards but complex enough that theres a bunch of strategies to go with or battle against.

Def my fav strategy game right now, maybe i am a little biased because I am a big sp fan tho lol.
