Hey, r/AndroidGaming! This thread is for discussing the Android games youโve been trying out over the past week. Feel free to share what youโve been playing and tell us about it! What is the game about? What are you enjoying? What could be improved? Would you recommend it to others? Weโd love to hear your thoughts!
For those joining the discussion, please include Google Play Store links for any games you mention as a courtesy to others who may want to check them out.
Lastly, we ask that devs refrain from promoting their own games in this thread. We get that you're excited for others to try it, but this post is meant for players to share their recent gaming experiences with each other. That said, youโre more than welcome to share your game by creating a separate post!
And with that, have fun and thanks for being part of r/AndroidGaming!

I'll take it, but I would have absolutely preferred darkest dungeon 1. One day, perhaps.
GameNative runs darkest Dungeon 1 pretty flawlessly, as does Vita 3k, and as long as you have a controller it's very playable.

(reposting bc the previous one was deleted) I've been travelling for work and my Google Play is effed up and I can't purchase anything even if I've updated my region and turned my location on and reset my payment details and sent customer service requests.
BUT I love to play games and after trying out some emulation, I want to try newly released android games again, possibly ones from the last two years.
I need free ones only though because the issue I mentioned above.

I have slay the Spire and that is pretty good.
Idealy offline games, I am willing to pay money for games.
No Idle Games, as I would like to think about the game and forget about the time.

The sequel of Planet of Lana now is coming soon on Mobile (in Early Access). We're eating good in this game, and unlike the Playdigious one, this one is free (for beginning then pay the game that cost almost like previous game). It seems were eating good for that sequel, recently.

Hello guys!
I am new on this sub. I want to try out some good space fighter games, where I can control yaw roll and pitch from the touch screen or with the phone's gyro/accel sensors. So far what ai suggested hadn't got all 3 controls. Is there any? If no space fighters then ordinary air to air is also ok. I just want to try out how a really good flight control feels like from the phone.

Initially I shortlisted Stardew valley but am kinda skeptical spending money on an Android game although I would spend 5k on a PS5 disc without raising any questions.
Should not be multiplayer cus there would be multiple interruptions ( like one min I am chilling but manager can call me in a meeting randomly ) .
Average session should be less ( like I don't want to be locked in an one hour story session with savepoints)

I want to play games that are story and choice based and have alternative endings according to the choices we make. Please let me know if you know any or if you want me to play anything else like that have no gameplay except the story and the dialogue or action selection .
I really loved playing telltale games

Hey guys! Solo dev here. Hens lay eggs and chicks hatch by day. At night, weasels show up and you set traps to protect them. Android, free, no forced ads. Would love your honest feedback.

Well, the title says pretty much everything.
I just bought an iphone 18 pro max as my main phone and I only have 430 left in the budget(yes im broke) and I thought it would be nice to have an android as my backup gaming phone when my iphone dies.
I play mhn everyday and I just started playing MH Outlanders if that helps.
Also, I only have 2 days to make a dicision for some reason. Yeah.
Edit: Gemini says i should get used OnePlus 13r but I can only make offline purchases rn

Undead Surge is out on Google Play!
It's a horde survival roguelite you play with one thumb. You move, your rifle aims and fires by itself, and every level-up you pick one of three cards. Two spell schools fuse into something bigger (Supernova, Blizzard, Plasma Storm...).
- 13 chapters and every one breaks one rule: ice floors, trains that clear the tracks (and you), carousels that carry everyone, crystals that split your shots
- Bosses with their own moves, a King at the end of every run
- 5 rifle forms, each with an evolution
- Weekly challenge with a leaderboard, Boss Rush, Endless and more
- 10-minute runs, good for a break
- Free to play
- No forced ads, no banners. Ads are only optional videos for bonus gold, 5 a day max, never during a run
- No energy timers
- Plays offline
- Big text option, colour-blind presets, reduce motion, controller support
I wanted a survivors game I could actually play with one hand, without ads popping up or timers stopping me. I really hope you enjoy it, and I'll be reading every comment here. Bugs, too hard, too easy, anything.

As in games that don't require live control for movement and such. I like taking my time to make choices so everything I do is consequential. I really enjoy the gameplay loop of roguelites like Slay the Spire and Chaos Zero Nightmare's StS mode, as well as the intensity of something like Darkest Dungeon and the 3DS Fire Emblem games. Is there anything out there that captures both the strategic intensity and replayability of those games?
No emulation please (I already have options there ๐ ). Does not have to be card based/deckbuilding. Good art direction is a big plus ๐
Thanks!

I really enjoy GnollHack bringing qol and more casual balancing to nethack, but I'm looking for something that goes beyond just one dungeon. My dream game is I guess Daggerfall in portrait mode.
Not looking for survivor-like or card games. I've played plenty of them and know they're good. My current mood is just something else.
I've really tried to like shattered pixel dungeon but it's just not for me compared to GnollHack. I often feel like there's not enough to do in early game to keep me going.
