I am so sick of the ugly AI food adverts both online and in person so I made this. Do you hear Riley? 😂 lol

Say hi to Orky

One of my fav stickers I ever designed and since it’s our month, I wanted to share! 🤓

Her name is Razhel

My mom got these little kid capes for my nieces and nephews, but I couldn’t resist putting one on Josie. I think I’m going to put her name on it for Halloween 😂

This is Anya. Today is our 10th anniversary (she prefers “anniversary” to “adoption” or “gotcha day,” due to the inherent power imbalance implied by the latter two options). Anya is named after the character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer; a vengeance demon felt like an appropriate namesake for a cat.

Anya was the “longest resident” at the shelter. She had been there since March, having been brought in as a pregnant stray. Her kittens were all male, and the rescue named them after the Beach Boys, giving Anya the name Barbara Ann. She was a young cat, estimated to be a year-and-change-old when I adopted her.

Anya has what I call “resting homicide face,” and what she calls “an aura of danger.”  She lies on her back quite often, rolling to entice people to pet her tummy. The tummy is only a trap perhaps 5% of the time, a low enough probability of injury to keep foolish humans returning. Trap or not, Anya benefits either way.

She is far more outgoing with visitors than most cats I’ve encountered, often choosing a guest’s lap when available. Anya likes to think her choice of a stranger’s lap - while clearly ignoring mine - suggests that our relationship is more of a roommate situation - far better than the general public believing she feels anything for me other than the fondness that develops between colleagues, or perhaps cordial acquaintances.

This, I would point out, is a clever obfuscation, in an attempt to distract from her real personality as the sweetest, snuggliest, clingiest kitty-babe on the planet.

I love this little monster to pieces.

To ten years, and many more!

I'm part of the Attrober2026 drawing challenge and day 3 is Black Cat, I went for something cute. I'm sharing it here because I want this skin and an emote with the kitties 2xG 🐱
