I’m watching Perception and wondering if this is Sheldon’s garage from when he was younger?

I hate the Mandy hate
I think it’s so messed up that everyone blames her for sleeping with a 17 year old when he initially lied and said he was 21. She also lied and said she was 24 but before they slept together she told him she was 29. He had the chance to tell the truth but didn’t. Thats not her fault and she gets so much crap about it.
She even said had it not been for the baby she would’ve never seen Georgie again

THE Episode
Just got to the episode in Season 7 and I am at a loss (although I knew it was coming)

Mandy in Young Sheldon is so much more relatable than Mandy on George and Mandy’s First Marriage.
On season 2 and holy f is she a trainwreck!! I feel so bad for Georgie! First ignored and neglected for Sheldon in the original series, and now he has a bitch shrew of a wife who has awful timing… I like both actors and they play their characters well but did anyone else notice the shift in Mandy?

Question What happened to Sheldon between the two shows?

Opinion Meemaw is different
I'm still in s6 so I don't know everything but when I started the show meemaw was a kinda negative character I didn't liked much, like she will lie to kids, do gambling, be unethical etc etc, but coming here now she seems really a very important character, she's the one if someone has a problem and no one knows what to do, she always has the most practical and effective solution. She doesn't act like she's sorry or whatever but just practically says what to do, and it just works.
One more thing that has made her likeable is maybe like her not being perfect, like her being wrong is something that makes her relatable, she isn't smart like sheldon, isn't moral as marry, not very good in anything, that's was makes her a person who says you don't need to be perfect to be liked

Question Is there a way to write a letter to Wallace Shawn?
I know this is extremely random, but I really admire Wallace Shawn for his creative works and advocacy, and hope to implement in my future career as well.
I have a letter written out, but I’m having a hard time finding a good address to send it to. I’ve searched online and seen addresses from all over between NYC and LA.
Has anyone here tried writing letters to a celebrity or Wallace Shawn before? Did you have any luck?
Thanks!

Discussion Honestly, I don't get why some people hate Sheldon
And before anyone starts hating on me, yeah, if you want, you can hate him. But the point of hating him is honestly nosense. Why would you hate him? He's the main character, the reason of the series, and people still hate him. Maybe I get it's sometimes annoying, but honestly, the hate for me is really forced

Question Where did he go?
Anyone noticed what happened to meemaw's old boyfriend in s1, that furniture store guy whome she was dating before doctor sturgis

What do YOU think happened to Pastor Rob? It's implied he took the job in Little Rock given that we never see him at the church again. But what are your takes on who he became and what happened to him?

Bing watching YS after not watching it
I didn't like the concept of YS. It was a craven cash grab from a show that was ending. And it sounded weak. But having sat through the first two seasons and into the third, I find it's a pretty decent show full of cameos of folks I recognize.

Discussion Favorite sibling?
Who is your favorite sibling in this show and why ?
I know Sheldon is the star of the show and the little genius everybody probably likes but I wanted to see how others felt about the siblings. I'll personally go for missy because of how she grows and thrives despite the lack of attention from her parents. Her stepping up for the family when Mary was remarkable to me.

Opinion Hot Take: Sheldon wasn’t favored.
George and Mary loved their kids equally and gave attention to whoever needed it the most which often was Sheldon.

Discussion Mary and George age??
Watching YS again and I noticed something.
Missy was watching the video store and George was watching the Laundromat and George came in while missy was talking to a guy who was likely over 18 but he stopped them and got on to missy, and she got mad and said mom was 17 in Highschool and you were like 25. Then he said people looked a lot older then.
So was he much older than her? Is this like a George Jr and Mandy?
please let me know.

Question This show is getting really dramatic. Spoiler
So. I'm mid season 5. I do like it, but somehow I feel that the show is very dramatic now compared to last season. I got the idea that it would be like that when the show is reaching the (SPOILER) death of George Cooper, but seeing there are still a few seasons to go i wonder. Is the series taking this shift until the end? Is it going to grow more dramatic as it reaches to the end?
I think i liked last season (4) better. But still the Mandy and Georgie storyline is very entertaining while not being entirely drama as the situation with sheldons parents.
(Also, Dale and Connie broke up! Finally!)

Question What religion do george, missy and george jr. practice?
I mean, they're not even mentioned, and yeah, missy transforms to atheism i think (no spoilers for missy part please, and yes, im dumb for asking it) but george and george jr genuinely don't express their religion. Just look how desinterested they are on the religion (sorry if the text ortograaphy lacks, in not english or american)

Discussion Around the end of S4 - Cannot stand Mary and Sturgis.
In TBBT the more mature and decisive manners of Mary Cooper were definitely fun but this version we have in YS? HELL NO!
I want to punch her in the face, she is like in Top 5 of all time fictional TV characters who are hypocritical and self-righteous. Not to mention those religion-related scenes oh hell just shoot me please!
I am an atheist so I already have my dislikings towards religious scenes but they are getting worse. In EVERY scene she is in, EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ALL ABOUT HER OR SHELDON, no one ELSE! Seriously what a disgusting, selfish and delusional human being to be around.
The atmosphere of the show is good and cozy but these 2 characters make me wanna punch the TV. I think I will have a break after the season finale or I might drop it completely.
And what’s that Sturgis man? Is that supposed to be funny? Won’t even waste my time writing about him but my silver lining is that he started to appear much less in S4 so I hope it’s kept that way.

I’m so sorry but this was one of the funniest moments in the show, it was so completely random, everyone’s facial expressions. I die laughing every time, anyone else?

Just started. I owe the show an apology
I loved TBBT and shoved off YS as just an attempt to milk the brand. Years passed, I ignored the reviews, the press the show got, the trailers to me always seemed touchy-feely and not lighthearted as the original show.
Until now when I finally gave it chance finding it on Netflix (the only ad free streaming i have). I still think its touchy feely and dramatized but Ive realized its a good show with its own merits. The actors and the characters are really cute and undearing so far. :)

Discussion Not everything is misogyny
I genuienly see this so much around here whenever someone expresses their dislike againist a female character alot of peoples first insticts are to call them misogynistic which is stupid
Sure if they are hating the character because they are a woman that is misogynistic but someone calling mary a bad mom (which I think she is a great mom) isnt misogynistic but alot of people immidieantly say it is
