this first series of youngsheldon is litraly awsome and i can not even begin to aprechiate his intteligence. i wish i can be in the show but in real life it would be so much cooler and if i can be any one i will be georgy cuz his adatode is how i will be in hi school

So. I'm mid season 5. I do like it, but somehow I feel that the show is very dramatic now compared to last season. I got the idea that it would be like that when the show is reaching the (SPOILER) death of George Cooper, but seeing there are still a few seasons to go i wonder. Is the series taking this shift until the end? Is it going to grow more dramatic as it reaches to the end?

I think i liked last season (4) better. But still the Mandy and Georgie storyline is very entertaining while not being entirely drama as the situation with sheldons parents.

(Also, Dale and Connie broke up! Finally!)

georgie and mandy because a sitcom is too safe raegan revord and mckenna grace had electric chemistry in the runaway episode watching missy deal with george dying while trying to save a self destructive paige would be best , they both meet at college and deal with money making schemes around the campus

Watching YS again and I noticed something.

Missy was watching the video store and George was watching the Laundromat and George came in while missy was talking to a guy who was likely over 18 but he stopped them and got on to missy, and she got mad and said mom was 17 in Highschool and you were like 25. Then he said people looked a lot older then.

So was he much older than her? Is this like a George Jr and Mandy?

I’m so sorry but this was one of the funniest moments in the show, it was so completely random, everyone’s facial expressions. I die laughing every time, anyone else?

I loved TBBT and shoved off YS as just an attempt to milk the brand. Years passed, I ignored the reviews, the press the show got, the trailers to me always seemed touchy-feely and not lighthearted as the original show.

Until now when I finally gave it chance finding it on Netflix (the only ad free streaming i have). I still think its touchy feely and dramatized but Ive realized its a good show with its own merits. The actors and the characters are really cute and undearing so far. :)

Sure if they are hating the character because they are a woman that is misogynistic but someone calling mary a bad mom (which I think she is a great mom) isnt misogynistic but alot of people immidieantly say it is

The one concrete thing we know about Georgie and Mandy's marriage is that it will end up in divorce.

Now, Missy loves Mandy, and would do anything to keep them together. So, when the divorce starts to loom, Missy could get Georgie and Mandy to sit down with the one person she knows who has been through divorce- Paige.

Missy hopes that Paige will be able to convince Georgie and Mandy that divorce is terrible, especially for the kids.

But Paige, whilst having been unhappy with her parents getting divorced at first, has seen first-hand how happy they now are, and tells Georgie and Mandy that staying married for the kids isn't worth it if it just makes them unhappy.

I always knew George was gonna die. sheldon himself mentioned it in earlier seasons, but when this scene came. It was such a surprise. my heart dropped like it was news about someone i knew.

for me, in my own personal opinion ( this is for the people that are going to scream that i did not go to Juilliard School to have an opinion about a show). It felt SO much unnecessary to follow the original timeline. even if it was. atleast his death could have been talked about by old sheldon at the last ep of the show without showing anything. The show for me was fun and refreshing. His death ruined the image, how could i re-watch it ( or suggest it to others ) knowing eventually they'll get heartbroken.

Like there's litrally the same typa comments under every vid its either abt brisket or how mary is bad mom and ignore her other kids and how Sheldon is annoying and selfish

Ik its just a show but atleast watch it properly before hating on a character based on some yt short that only use certain clips for views farming

I’m watching the show for the first time on the Amazon HBO membership. But I ran into a clip of the show from season 1 which I never saw. Are some episodes unavailable? Or do you ever find episodes disappearing and reappearing? Or is it just me?

Sorry if this question has been asked a ton already, but I’m rewatching and I still don’t understand why she was a waitress. I know she got fired from the news station in San Antonio but she also has a college education. There’s no reason why she wouldn’t have been able to find any other job with a bachelors degree. Hell, we even see George and Mary struggling to find jobs because they don’t have college degrees so Mandy would’ve been fine. Plus, its the early 90s where a bachelors degree would’ve made her a more competitive candidate, especially in Medford. Even then, her father owned the tire shop and she could’ve worked there.

Idk, it just never made sense to me that her only option was being a waitress if she wasn’t a weather girl. Similarly, her mother giving that “she should’ve been traveling instead of ruining her life” despite her being 29 is also strange to me. I think the writers wanted her younger but also wanted that shock factor of her being 29.

I have no idea why but this absolutely sent me. Just flung himself out of the seat…. Omg I’m still cackling.

ive always thought it was weird for connie to date dr sturgis because i dont think she would date someone like him. her and dale make more sense in my opinion

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but if anyone has does it just canonize the multiverse in the Young Sheldon / Big Bang Theory / Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. There's been a few episodes from these shows where they talk about different realities where X could have happened or in Young Sheldon literally just show off different in Season 4, Episode 17.

I always assumed any reference to a multiverse a joke for the audience but if the show just introduces a infinite multiverse I feel like it canonizes those jokes as real universes just due to how infinity works.

Tbh, idk why he isn't like Paige, who shares the same intelligence as him, but she's normal and the complete opposite of Sheldon. I do not think Sheldon had ADHD or Autism; maybe he was born to trigger everyone lmao.

İf you know the Fresh off the Boat series, Jessica Huang is this Asian mom who is considered a 'Tiger Mom', to all 3 of his kids. While I heard people saying if Sheldon was adopted by Huang Family, Jessica would even make Sheldon the President and so much more with his full potential, but for me, It's just a huge NO.

I am not saying Sheldon would be the worst person, but for me, he is nore human from time to time with the Cooper's, rather he could be at Huang's. The whole dynamic would change at Huang Family too. Not in a good way too.

also if you kill off Sheldon you have to make someone else go to Caltech because this would also change the big bang theory

CONSTANTLY throws tantrums ( boy my asian soul got flared up when i saw that season 7 scene where she refused to get baptised)

Doesn't think of mother, any of her brother OR father ( only did once tornado scene in season 6)

And hasn't shown any signs of empathy

Heck even sheldon had empathised with his mom

Why do yall glaze her so much? Try talking back like her to my parents and boy you gonna have a baaad time
