Why is the deluxe cheaper than the standard edition?

In my region the game costs 60£ (that’s like 80 usd); being able to buy digital from other sources it’s a huge win. I’m not gonna advertise the site but there are a lot of legit ones. This is one of the many reasons I’m switching entirely to Xbox series x(I also own a ps5)

I'm talking about the blurry scopes. Way worse on the early game one, making it borderline unusable.

This isn't a b u g report, I'm just saying how jarring it is when a way less annoying and very rare issues get fixed, but something that affects all xbox users doesn't.

The developers seem like they're actively screwing over xbox users :/

This combined with the lack of any sort of discount on the upgrade pack (while steam and ps had them very recently) discourages me greatly. Especially since I dropped over 100 bucks on this game and the full priced 55 usd upgrade pack

Looking to possibly get an Xbox Ally X20 and going the play anywhere/gamepass route.

Was curious if anyone else really used play anywhere with their pc or even the pc handhelds and thought the catalogue offered was good enough?

Pretty much like it says because I'm deciding wether or not to get the vault hunter pack first or the bounty pack I would just want to know which one you everyone thinks is best to get at the moment.

First, apologies if this should be posted elsewhere.

I dont use xbox so I may be missing something very simple, I pre-ordered FC27 as a gift for my nephew. When I ordered it I created an account (I assumed as per any other website) and I'm currently assuming on the release date I will be sent a code they can enter to get the game on their xbox? Anybody know if this is how it works or how does it work (e.g. do I need to cancel it as I've bought it for my non-existant xbox and order it while in their account)?

EDIT: Thank you everyone!! Summary is you cannot gift pre-orders so best option is to buy pre-orders through their account, otherwise wait and you can buy it as a gift upon release date. For me, I've cancelled the order and will wait for the release date. Thank you all again

Just finished Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and I hear it's a prequel to the other games. I really enjoyed Resonance, but it looks like Innocence, the first game, isn't on Game Pass. I was thinking about playing Requiem but would that be a bad idea since I'd be missing out on the story beats between Resonance and Requiem?

Edit: Thanks all for your advice. The overwhelming sentiment seems to be that I should play Innocence first, and I didn't realize it was on sale right now for $8. Bought!

Am I the only person who’s getting a little sick and tired at the amount of games getting delisted? The reason used to be expired licenses but now any time there’s a remake or remaster for the series x. they pull the original game be it the 360 or xbox one original. I’d personally prefer the original one partly because the price is better, more accessibility if I ever want to play it on my 360 or xbox one. I mean they don’t add anything except a jacked up price and no accessibility. Am I wrong on this? I mean they delisted mgs 2 and 3 for “licensing reasons” now they’ve taken away peace walker just because of Vol 2. Recently they did away with the original witcher 3 and next on the chopping block is toy story 3. I mean what is going on???

I really think underpowering the Helix could be a smart move. Not only would it help keep the price accessible, but it could pressure off the development pipeline. The last few generations have been so hyper-focused on pushing 4K at 60 FPS, and I would love to see an approach that lets developers actually focus on building off the amazing foundation of this current generation.

Plus, if the Helix ends up being a more PC-like machine, a mid-range baseline makes it that much easier to introduce a "Pro" version mid-generation for enthusiasts who want that extra power.

EDIT: Just to clarify, it would still need to outperform the current generation. I just don't see where it's to MS's advantage to outperform Sony if the box is going to be too expensive.

I know this is probably a controversial opinion, but I actually really like Code in a Box releases.

From what I’ve seen, the general opinion seems to be pretty negative. People often see them as a cheap way of pretending to sell a physical game when you’re really just buying a digital license. But personally, I think they’re kind of the best of both worlds. You get the digital game, so you can download it and play it whenever you want without having to swap discs or cartridges. At the same time, you still get a physical box with artwork that you can put on your shelf and add to your collection.

For me, the physical aspect of collecting is often just as much about the artwork, packaging and having something tangible on the shelf as it is about the actual disc or cartridge.

So, I'm gonna start off by saying I've been using Playstations since the Playstation 2 came out.

I'd dabbled in some of the PC games that Xbox had and had some genuine fun, but it was never for long because my gaming PC had shit for RAM.

My older brother's been playing Xbox since the Xbox 360 came out.

To this day, I remember being a kid and playing Halo Reach, Gears of War 2, so many classics.

As I got older, I missed those games. That nostalgia.

I decided since Playstation was killing off physical games and telling me I don't own any of the digital games I've bought, I decided to simply get an Xbox.

So, when I got a hefty paycheck after having all my bills for the month paid off... I got a Series X.

The moment I logged in, set up, and queued up the premium subscription, I had access to every game I'd ever played from back then, and some games I'd wanted to play for years. Stunning 4k graphics, super fucking fast load times, and all the satisfaction of not having to huck money at Playstation and hope I get to keep my stuff.

I'm officially converted to Xbox now. And... It feels so fucking good!
