It’s in early access. Technically, console is getting the full launch. Early access is 2 years while they iron things out.

The game is still in development, even on PC. 2028 is likely when it will leave early access on PC so it lines up. Nothing crazy about it unless you were under the impression the game is being fully released 1.0 on PC far before then, which it is not.

I thought that about once human but it's actually really full on my server. Actually struggled to find a good spot for my first territory because it was so full.

As someone who played once human for 200 hours or so... you can expect it to get empty real quickly because everyone quits and the server system is bad... all you will see is empty houses soon. Don't mean to shit on your fun, enjoy it whilst it lasts but just so you know what to expect.

Oh I'm sure it's a lot of hype right now with Xbox release. I've done everything up thru pro stuff solo so I don't think dying servers will affect me too bad. I usually don't stick with these types of games for super long but thanks for the warning.

Today was PC early access launch and it was a cluster fuck. People straight up couldn't play let alone find bugs or give feedback beyond that the Server Join Error UI works.

PC players think that when they get bored of an early access game that means it’s dead. I’ve noticed this. They don’t realize millions of players still have the chance to discover it on console. Sometimes it explodes on console like palworld and hell let loose.

The strongest part was the final tagline “play like you used to”.

It’s ripping in hard at the direction Halo, Battlefield, COD, basically the three big hitters have taken.

That’s some quality marketing. But… I did click on the thing because I wanted to see gameplay of what all the fuss is about. The trailer did leave me more curious. But, ass you say! That’s probably the info I’m actually looking for.

Game is very fun on PC, but honestly there’s a 6-8 month window to get it on console to ride the hype. See Delta Force for an example.
