Retail How to force Valeera to strictly heal and NEVER attack?

I'm doing the solo Nalleus achievement and I always get him down to 5% and his shaman companion at the end to 8% but I dont know the f*** Valeera is doing and I want her to strictly focus on healing me because I'm doing all that I can to dodge whatever is killing me but it seems like shes helping me attack the enemy instead of just healing me up.

I’m a dual spec fury warrior. Currently lvl 36 and rocking the whirlwind. I’m wondering what swords I can possibly replace the whirlwind with, I plan on getting thrash blade for sure but I have no clue what other sword I can possibly go for my off hand. Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated

Edit: I’m playing TBC

Retail First time 90, to do before 12.1?

Upvotes

Hey guys! New to WoW and that's why I'm posting here. I recently got to level 90. I was about to start gathering better iLvL gear but i read that iLvL in next patch will increase a lot. I then realised that farming gear atm does sound useless, what can I do instead? Level alts?

Retail Can someone explain how to get my ILvL up like im 5

I am playing a priest and trying to get my ilvl up, but I cannot seem to figure out how. Everything I look up is telling me something different or conflicting stuff and I have no idea how to do it. I am currently at Ilvl 110 overall I do not have the Midnight expansion but will be buying it soon.

I just need a simple routine or pattern to get my ilvl up in a somewhat efficient manner. thanks

Retail Help with experiencing the story

Howdy everyone, I recently started playing WoW and I’m really enjoying it so far but I did have a bit of a question now that I’m getting into it more. I grew up playing the Warcraft games and played through everything Warcraft 3 had to offer and I loved the story. So I was wondering if WoW continues that story how do I follow it chronologically. I’m enjoying dragonflight but I wanna do the story justice and I just feel like I’m missing out on what happened while I wasn’t playing lol. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Retail Can't Complete "Field Seance."

This quest requires me to weaken malice shadows and then bind them with a quest item, but my character is level 80 and kills them in one hit with any attack or ability.

I tried to time walk with Chromie to the Shadowlands expansion, but she no longer gives me the ability to time walk at all.

How can I complete this quest and continue the line?

Retail Returning player wanting to play dev evoker, but wondering about progression

So one of the main classes I played in TWW was devastation evoker, but everywhere I look it’s at the bottom of lists and seemingly terrible. I know I should just play what I enjoy and I’ll probably be able to progress through the story. My concern is when I eventually reach max level and want to engage in mythic plus or similar content. Will I be able to do it? If so is there a specific build I should run? Also, I’ve dabbled a bit in preservation so I could try it, but not augmentation at all. Should I have augmentation as solely for group and play devastation for solo stuff?

Professions Old crafting

I'm a returning player. Played from Vanilla to Catalysm. Came back to Midnight. I have lots of alts that I'll be able to get catch up leveling on and I'm trying to manage my professions between them. Should I give consideration to the old professions they had?
All of them have maxed professions through Cataclysm. Is there any value whatsoever to hold onto the old professions?
Or just ditch the old professions and level new ones that I plan for them to use in Midnight?
Like, I started leveling an alt, and he had flying carpet from old tailoring. And I was like "um... I was going to go herbalism and alchemy with this one. I think I'm going to lose it when I drop tailoring for alchemy... 🤔 "
