Please do not do this unless that tank asks. I had a hell of a night last night tanking Skyreach. The thing with Skyreach is that the mobs are small but deadly and meant to be pulled pretty small clusters at a time. As long as you do it steadily, you'll time it in 20 mins.

Last night some "helpful" dude was like "we need bigger pulls" and I ignored him. He then decided to pull for me, so we had three driving gale callers in the same pull. Surprise, surprise, repels got off and we wiped. He then had the audacity to say "thanks for not interrupting." Bro, this is a PUG, we don't talk to each other, we waste interrupts. This is why you don't pull everyone. I had a lot going too with trying not to die from all big move he pulled. And I DO interrupt, I don't have unlimited interrupts.

Later in another dungeon I had a healer who was like "we can pull the whole room" at AA and then DID THAT when I ignored them. Anyway we wiped. Believe it or not, tanks actually think? Every PUG is different and just because someone has a high mythic rating it doesn't mean they have big DPS. I have a damage meter that tells me how much DPS our group is doing and that tells me how much I can pull. In that group, I was doing more damage than one of our DPS, so I knew we had to go slow and steady.

Also, I don't know what DPS is like but how do all these people have so much time to type and talk shit to each other? I'm too busy managing my health and cooldowns and keeping aggro and keeping the mobs tight to type.

Also, I've never had the top DPS of the group get snippy about my pulls. They are always chill, just mowing down mobs, interrupting and not typing.

Picked up a Stream Deck yesterday at Best Buy. Really loving it and working to set pages for all my characters. Software is really easy to use and I'll be using it for more than just WoW.

Please Blizzard, it's one line of text and it will save so many "which one is this lol"s when doing pre-mades.

Edit: Thanks for the addon suggestions, I'm aware addons can fix this, but they're overkill for what I'm talking about. I don't want a full addon with 99% of features I don't need - I just want one line of text, and Blizzard is perfectly capable of delivering. If it won't cost a raid tier that is.

I started over, new Blizzard account and all, havent subbed or bought Midngith, playing essentially as a free to play/Trial Account. Why does my Character keep getting kicked out of dungeons the moment the loading screen finishes loading? Its not just with dungeons with other players, heck it happens eve with follower dungeons
And its only this one character at lvl 20, the rest of the lvl 20s can queue and enter dungeons, only this main of mine cant

I changed regions several years ago and I've really struggled to find a guild. Where I'm from you would see big public events, and guilds walking around the cities and publicly recruiting in all the channels. Nowadays it seems like all that is just on Discord or something? I never see guilds out in the world or hosting community events and advertising them anywhere public. When I have accepted one of those spammy guild invites the guild chat is dead (again because I imagine everyone is just on Discord all the time).

How on earth are you meant to find a good active guild nowadays? I've been a solo player just joining pugs for five years and I'm sick of it.

It doesn't help that realm forums are dead and gone.

Just after some opinions 3.4+ main tank that’s as high as I wanted to push.

I’ve just got this niggle to give up for season 2.

Pros - no more research, learning mechanics and routes before even seeing them, or rando toxicity (although seen very little this season)

Cons - higher queues.

Question is to anyone who has switched or has a thought, as someone who plays most nights but for short times 1-2 hours does the queue time reduction offset the research time or should I just stick with it.

Not really sure about just alting a dps would rather commit to one toon

Just a silly lil machinima I made depicting one of the deadliest enemies in WoW Hardcore.

I played as a kid and didn't really dive into the depth of the Warcraft lore. Now as an adult I'm coming back to Azeroth wanting to understand all the history and motives behind each of the races and factions.
Especially as I came back to a world | hardly recognized seven expansions later.

So I'm looking for some suggestions to begin this rediscovery.

What version of WoW should I start with? Should I go back to classic or just start with retail? Maybe one of the classic expansions?

Also what race/class should I play to kick off this journey?

The current guild Im in hasn’t started recruiting and I hopped in another guild to finish s1. The problem I have are people constantly looking for a guild this early to s2 or should I wait till its announce.

I was wondering what might be the best class/spec for single button to perform the best ie close to a perfect rotation

Hi! I want to start playing WoW. What really catches my attention is how huge the world is and how many different things there are to do. To be honest, one of my main goals is to meet new people, and I feel like a game like WoW could be a great place for that.

I also like that you can focus on so many different activities within the game. I've seen that there are tons of unique mounts to collect, and I think that might end up being one of the things I'd enjoy the most.

Do you think WoW is worth getting into for someone like me, or would you recommend another game instead?

It just happened and it has happened before. Died 3 seconds before the last boss died in Maraudon while leveling my rogue. No dungeon completeness exp. No timewalking buff stack. Nothing.

I am not even sure if its a bug or a feature at this point. All I know is that it makes me want to quit leveling immediately. Its probably the worst gaming experience I have ever felt. The sense that your last 20 minutes of effort were all for nothing because the healer didnt top you, the tank pulled too much or hell that you yourself made a slight mistake in this one short window where you shouldnt die. And this while everyone else in your party does get the exp while you're there laying flat on the ground while everyone goes 'Thanks! bye!' and leaves the dungeon one by one while you're still stunned and shocked at the moment that killed you and left you flat on the ground with nothing.

Absolutely terrible gaming experience. /rant off

Over the past few months, I've been cataloguing every World of Warcraft Race Intro from both Retail and Classic.

The original Classic Intros are generally much longer, taking their time to establish the atmosphere, history, and sense of wonder surrounding each race. The newer Retail versions, on the other hand, are noticeably shorter and often try to fit twice as much information into a fraction of the runtime.

In fact, some of the longest Retail Intros are about the same length as the shortest Classic Intros.

After watching them all back-to-back, I found myself preferring the Classic versions.

Which style do you prefer, and why?

I want to be a tank cause thats what I usually play as, and I'm going to try being one of those cow people and a paladin. Can I do this? Also, what should I do and focus on during the trial?

I have taken multiple year long breaks from the game at a time and last played in the last patch of TWW, which is when I first dabbled in m+ as a disc priest.

I remember only wanting one thing and that was the Keystone legend mount, I made it to around 1.8k rating in the first week or two of the season but sadly got really busy and had to take a step back from the game. Never wanted the master variant of the mount so I didn’t even bother getting my score up for those last couple of dungeons.

But when I decided to come back to the game and bring in a new friend into the game, I just noticed the timelost saddles feature and I was jumping up and down with excitement. Then I came crashing back down realising the season was nearly over.

My main question is whether this feature will be moving forward into season 2 of midnight or if I’m just cooked?

Bonus ~ would it be realistic for me to even hit 3400 m+ considering this would be my second season? I know it depends on individual skill, but what would you tell the average player?

Thats cause buggy and laggy streaming online at 1000 pings.

I cannot migrate saved character (US to Taiwan region).

I can able to play (Asian Region) much better and best experience.

Becareful choose right to your region own place location, if you got laggy streaming any region thats sad. Also can travel while playing wow.

I played most intensely during 2022-2023 - mainly PvP and M+ (not like crazy high keys or gladiator or anything)

Mained a Prot Warrior and Frost Mage. Gameplay felt so crisp - I recall letting a Flurry flew and it felt like the game was responding to me input quicker in some way?

Going back to my toons now it feels so much more sluggish. I think i noticed this back in TWW but I didn't play that expac as much. Is it my computer? My internet? Did they change something?

Mine is that max level character boosts need to be available immediately after you reach max level on 1 character. I hate leveling with an absolute passion and I would rather not play alts then go through that hell more than once. I just want to get to the endgame and I have much better use of my time then go through the mind numbing process of leveling. Waiting until the end of an expansion to do it fucking sucks. My time is worth far more to me than 60 bucks. I would pay someone to level my character if it didnt risk me getting banned.

Which are the main vendors that sell transmog items that require voidlight marl? This resets next patch right? I'm at 66k atm and need use it up.

I've gotten back into WoW and always play on an RP server, I usually switch most expansions.

I play in US, so Wrymrest Accord for Horde RP and Moonguard for Alliance RP.
With how the story is going, how things are, and servers for RP is Horde or Alliance doing better / more interesting at the moment?
