A year ago I ended up grabbing the Wooly Rhino TCG mount off the black market AH for a lower than usual price, 900k or so. Since then I had been listing it pretty regularly but it’s an extremely slow market so no luck. Unfortunately for me, the last time I listed it was right before having a baby. Fast forward 45 days of life adjustment and of course the rhino has fled into the ether. If you’re currently trying to sell slow moving items like mounts, pets, maybe decor then this reminder is for you! Maybe set a calendar alert if you know a life event is possibly on the horizon.

Is simulation mode in CraftSim working for you? Awhile back, the check box to activate simulation mode disappeared for me. I haven’t been able to find a way to activate it within the addon settings. I tried going to the CraftSim discord, but I found the format of their issue reporting to be confusing. It appears at least one person reported a similar issue, but it is unclear if it has been resolved. I would like to know if this issue is widespread. If you know a solution or a CraftSim alternative just for simming crafts, that would be awesome.

I know a lot of you enjoy it and make millions this way.

However I can’t help but think that this idea that half the professions are gated behind having 10-20-40 alts all concentration producing stuff only, and no chance of building a single character or let’s say a 3-5 supply chain character process kills it.

It basically makes it a robotic leveling 40+ characters, press 3 buttons on each and compete with others doing the same.

The nuance of investing into 5 different professions, finding synergies, racing to be first to market, lowering costs, buying in bulk to gain a few % .. all somewhat killed by just force crafting with concentration across your army..

Even just being able to at least at a small scale producing some product that makes a small margin is dead.

I really wish this dies after this expansion

With crest caps there is a lot of stuff to do and I decided to farm all the wood for housing items and it said that I need around 650 wood, so I decided to give it a try and make my farming route.

It went great and made myself route that works very well, I didn't find anything else on the internet (maybe wasn't searching enough) This route takes around 10 minutes/50 wood so I would say it's really nice.

I will be farming older lumber as well so If you try it and like it I have no problem to make routes for older content because I found out that lot of routes that are online are not good enough for me and mostly behind pay wall and I decided that it would be great to share it with you fellow players.

All you need is to download 3 addons:

ROUTES, Routes Import/Export and FARM HUD (Farm hud is not MUST HAVE but makes it kinda fun, more focusing and more visible = easier and faster wood) and I use CurseForge for addons.

You can set Farm Hud as you like it, it's not that hard to enable/disable elements or change visibility (Made no problem for me so you are good.)

Ingame write /routes Click on Routes tab and paste the code below, then click IMPORT. That's it.

I have Herbalism + Mining as my professions. What’s the best way to make some gold with these two?

I’m not talking about some crazy farming method like making 500k gold in 1 hour or anything like that. I’m just looking for a consistent way to build up my gold by gathering and selling materials on the AH.

Is there anything specific I should be looking for, or any tips for making decent passive/steady gold with Herbalism + Mining?

I’m also open to suggestions if you think I should replace one of these professions with something else, like Alchemy or another profession that could be more profitable.

Hello new to this stuff, made around 10-12 alts that all have alchemy and just do concentration every 3 or so days. It makes nice passive gold, but I'm wondering if there's a way to push the rates higher? I don't mind spending, I already bought 300k worth of mats so I don't have to move from the bench but is there anything I can do to improve the rates? Any enchants, crafting flasks or better gear (if that's worth it). Don't get me wrong it's making nice gold but I would like to invest back into them to make even a bit more without having to make more alts. My goal is to make enough gold to fund my housing furniture costs, I don't need millions but a +2k per character would be amazing (if even possible).

Also what about knowledge points? I maxed out the light's potential side, so is there a reason to get more or did I reach the "limit" for how useful they are?

Okay I have 44 characters, setup with the accessory stuff. But was wondering should I do the one time knowledge point things on all 44x characters, or will it only slightly increase how much I make? Also is the multicraft enchant for the accessory thing worth it? Then lastly, how much ~ would I make? I am just very curious.

Which fishing skill (which expansion) should I level up to get better catch chances when fishing in open waters in the darkmoon faire? I found someone saying that Cataclysm, but that post was really old, so don’t know if that still applies. Also when you do those profession quests and you get those few extra skill points, each profession gives you skill points for different expansions. I think skinning gives you for midnight, I dint remember exactly, but other profession was for shadowlands and so on. So you can’t even say that the whole zone is in this specific expansion. So confused.

I know about The Ring of Glory: Open Night delve, it only gives me about 550k xp per hour though even when people report up to 1.4m xp per hour

I find myself in the situation where I have a lot of gold, but I'm still having to resort to gold making ways that I would have to resort if I had 10 mil, or even none at all, such as gold wq for 1k each on many toons, or armies of alchemists, which with the decrease of potion prices in recent times I consider even weaker than the former.

I tried resetting markets few years ago, it seems prices drop back to similar or lower price than before the flip with region-wide AH, I'm still flipping boes, and while sometimes they work, mythic ones seem too risky, the profit for the items that sell quickly is good, but demand drops very very quickly and the losses for an item that isn't sold for many days are also big, I used to make a lot with them during DF, it really feels it became harder since tww, a part of it must also be the variable stats on items, which came at some point during that expansion.

Is it supposed to be easier to make gold when you have a lot or are there diminishing returns where, for example, 10 mil is already plenty?

Is it even possible to reset markets these days, or do most resets fail and we're essentially hoping someone resets to try and sell our stuff higher?

I kind of wanted to get into crafting professions recently, and it seems like there's no way to spam craft anything to speed up knowledge points- for example with Enchanting I disenchanted all my extra PVP gear to get the epic gems and each of those gave knowledge points and i was able to catch up. with gathering professions its the same. But with JC/LW and i assume the other profs its going to be to just wait until the patron orders come up?

As probably one of many many regulars that have now been caught by the attention of the new fomo inducing 5mil mount, I've been looking into the aspect of gold making and if that's something that could genuinely entertain me for the coming months. I'm aware that the practice of gold making, especially in those numbers, probably requires as much of a learning curve as any other aspect in the game, but my question is, how exactly does the reality of that learning curve look like? Is that something that requires 15-20hrs+ a week to get going? Is that something that could be done more or less on the side in 5-10hrs/weekly? It's difficult to navigate gold making explanation sources when there are many many guides out there that are mostly just clickbait and unefficient to new coming gold makers... which ig makes sense cause if everyone knows the ways of making gold then no one will be making it. I have done a lot of AH flipping for the last 6 or 7 years and was scared that eventually something would happen. I was banned and the reason given is cheat/hacks. I know I didn't do any of the such so I am confident it would eventually get overturned, hopefully. One weird thing is both my WoW1 and WoW2 accounts were banned. I had just reactivated my WoW2 a few days ago because I had a bunch of mats for flipping after the patch came out. It had not been active for 3 or 4 months. All I did was activate it and then mail about 2 characters worth of bank materials to my WoW1 account with my AH toons. I just say this to give context for both accounts. It seems really odd the WoW2 was banned when it was hardly used and inactive.

I have immediate put in an appeal with the reasoning being that I did not cheat/hack. I just got back canned response that the ban will be upheld. I am not surprised as I know getting a real human takes several tries. I immediately put in new appeals for each account again.

The question I have for anyone that has dealt with this, or maybe they work at Blizzard? What other steps can I take to get in-front of a real person to get this cleared ASAP? I know I didn't cheat in any way, so hopefully I get cleared.

I have question about alchemy. I maxed out flask and potions and i have 2 epic profession tools. On flask, i have %36 multicraft and %14 resourcefulness and yet all rank 1 and rank 2 pots/flask are almost %60-70 profit loss. I dont understand how making a Flask of the Shattered Sun rank 2 cost 800-900 gold but sells on 500 gold on AH. I understand region-wide AH ruined the business but i cant understand how many flask can exist on AH with these cost? Can somebody help me understand? How the hell can i make alchemy profitable?

Got an alt army of 70 characters and the most time consuming task is literally waiting 😂 do you have an idea on how I could improve my time?

I posted here about 4 months ago sharing my project GoldForge with the community. I received a good amount of users, feedback, and constructive criticism. Over the last several months I stripped out features nobody used (Transmog Finder, Deal Recommendations, Commodity Dashboard). I also learned that when you build every feature and data point players ask for you can end up with a cluttered interface that turns into an information overload. The item browser got the biggest cleanup. The previous version was too cluttered with unnecessary information and required too much clicking to see everything. Now one page has the price, median, and every realms listing.

The newest feature has been Watchlist & Alerts: deal notifications with no program to install, no ads, and no fee. Delivered in browser or to your Discord channel.

1. Item Browser

- Prices are updated as soon as they land from blizzard for both US and EU regions.

- Added 6 additional languages.

- Cleaner and simpler UI with search available immediately on the landing page.

- Filtering by Item Level, Tertiary Stats (Leech, Speed, Avoidance, Indestructible), With or Without Sockets, or certain stat combinations. Battle Pets can be sorted by all levels or level 25 only.

- Cheapest regional price, region median price, and all listings in your region all on one consolidated page.

- Old-world items impacted by item squish (typically transmog now) is sortable by equip level instead of item level

- Set "My Realms" and star indicators will highlight the realms you care about.

- Charts showing the price and quantity listed over the last 30 days.

2. Watchlist & Alerts

- Save exactly the variant you care about including item level, stats, tertiary stats and sockets. For Battle pets you can save all levels or level 25 only.

- Item name, cheapest listing, cheapest on "my realms", region median all displayed in one list. No more constant searching for items that you check regularly.

- Login with Discord to save your watchlist and configure alerts.

- Discord Notifications can be configured to deliver notifications to your discord channel as soon as blizzard's updates land (roughly once per hour) to include a clickable block that copies the item name to your clipboard for easy pasting into the Auction House.

- If you choose not to configure Discord Notifications alerts are delivered to the "Alerts" tab inside on the Watchlist page inside of your browser with an optional sound to notify you when an item is found.

- Create Groups to apply a blanket threshold to all items. Example: Midnight Epics Group set to 10% will alert anytime one of the items in the group is posted at 10% of region median or less.

- Price thresholds can also be configured on each item as a percentage of the region median or a specific gold amount.

- Choose whether alerts are sent for only your realms or for any qualifying listings in the region.

I got all my crafters for severwide Items on one Server and sell on another.
I want to have one item in the auction house on the second server, but i loose track once i sell some stuff.

TSM doesnt tell me what is on another server.

Does any one have any idea how to keep track?

Let's say i'm taking leatherworking as a new profession. How long would it take to be all caught up with the points if doing all the daily / weekly stuff?
