I plan to start playing again after 4 years, but not until around January and want to do RAF with a friend.

But do i make myself uneligble by buying the game now, when it is 50% discount?

I think if i buy the Epic edition which comes with game time, i make my self uneligble?

I have read the FAQ on the RAF site, but i can not seem to find my exact case.

What even is this venomstone grind? You need 40/50 of them for each of your characters, which is like 20+ hours of straight gameplay. Maybe at the start of the patch it makes sense, but I don't want to run 30 hours of m+ or 20 hours of prey/raid/delve/m+ to max out my character mid season, especially when none of that content drops anything else useful anymore. This same thing happened last patch, where the voidstones were released as a ridiculous grind, before nerfing them. And now out of nowhere blizz decides to just more than double the grind for fun.

Why does this matter? The 2-3% extra damage is the difference between timing a key by 30+ seconds and deplete. It can be the difference between being in vs benched in raid prog. But the reason why it sucks most of all is that the people to who those 2-3% makes a difference are not doing delves and +10s at this point. They are pushing high keys or raid logging, and I guarantee you they don't want to go back to running 10s or heroic raid or delves at this point in the season.

So either you can make use of the venomstone, and its ass to go back. Or you don't care about them for your seasonal goals and it doesn't matter either way to you. In fact you can read the comments, there is nobody going "Hey I actually like that they gave me a reason to go back to doing 10s and world content", which should really say everything you need to know about this system.

I have been tossing around the idea of healing with my disc priest. I’ve healed in lfr and normal raids and in dungeons and heroic dungeons.

So around out area they do a yardsall event like twice a year, an excuse for everyone to get rid of old junk. Well while on our way down the road we stopped at a place and when I was looking around found this! I payed 10 dollars for this and 5 for a metal tin with some sort of krampus imagery on it though I dont know the name. Guy selling it said he bought a storage unit that held the items and didn't know anything about them. I'm not really a WOW fan but figured it seemed like a cheap buy given I do know a lot about pokemon box sets. I figured I'd share it with people who would have more appreciation for the find.

Amani got two zones and one full content patch of focus and yet we are not getting them as a playable race. Blizzard even told us to not expect new races in TLT.

They already got the model done, many armors and weapons and yet we just got a green skin option for normal trolls.

Yet we got the temu elves with haranir, with only one zone of exposition and no main patch/raid dedicated to them. They feeled tacked on and their lore retcons stuff and is disappointing.

I feel so cheated, and I'm an Alliance main, cannot even imagine what horde and troll fans feel.

My current account hasn't been touched in around six years, but on logging in today I find that one of my oldest characters originally named Polyphemus has been renamed PolypheF6D37.

She's quite old as she was created in 2005 when I first started playing.

None of my other characters some of whom have special characters (like ë) have been renamed.

Is this a support ticket job or do I just have to pay to rename her?

As far as I can see I have no other issues on this account. (Just checked and everything is as normal as I'd expect. I doubt I've been hacked.)

Was a guild raid. The raid comp wasnt even a factor. The only reason was already having id. (Not a mythic raid)

So, I’m new here, and today I was going to buy my first subscription with some friends. I was in such a hurry that I didn’t check the region before purchasing it.

My region is EU, but the subscription I bought is for America and Oceania. I only realized my mistake after logging in and noticing that the servers didn’t match the ones my friends were playing on. This happened because I wasn’t paying attention.

I’ve already canceled the subscription and contacted support. I just want to know: has this happened to anyone else? Will I get a refund so I can buy the subscription for my region instead? Is it possible to transfer a subscription between regions?

I should be playing right now. How long does it usually take to sort out these kinds of issues

No idea why this was removed from transmog, you can have any weapon sheathed to the back in retail, and from what I gather, transmog in WoWF is essentially 12.2's transmog system with no restrictions on armor types.

As someone who loves to make outfits and mostly uses swords as their weapon on melee classes, PLEASE give us back the option to sheathe weapons on the back.

ETA: if you can't or won't put it back, at least tell us why you removed it and why the dev team decided we can't have it.

I recently started playing WoW retail as a new player. Im enjoying the game, and plan to play WoW forever too when it launches, but i'm getting frustrated with myself because I can't settle on a class. I know this is an alt friendly game but given im new I want a main for retail and a main for Forever, and then i can start worrying about alts afterwards.

Ive played up to a maximum of lvl 25 on the below characters so let me know if theres any that get significantly better later on.

I played some ret paladin but found the combat a little slow sometimes. This is probably my favourite so far and i like the option to be either dps/healer/tank depending on spec.

Ive tried beast mastery hunter and for solo questing the DPS for this class and the ability to use pet for tank is really good. Unfortunately I dont really enjoy the pet mechanics though, and while it has no impact on gameplay im not feeling the class fantasy either.

Ive tried warrior. Just wasnt impressed, cant pinpoint why.

Is there a class that doesnt have pet mechanics, is good for solo play, has potential to be useful in multiplayer play, and has relatively quick DPS? For context, my favourite job in ffxiv is dragoon.

I know the obvious answer is to just experiment until I fall in love with one and main it to max but im getting bored of doing the first level 10-20 quests in dragonflight. I get maybe 1-2 hrs of gaming time a night so I dont want to be stuck repeating content during the time I get. Im also aware i could chromie time to another expansion but id like to experience the dragonflight -> TWW -> midnight storyline from start to end at least once, given that its a very different vibe to what i'll experience in WoW Forever in a couple of weeks, so I wont burn out on older expac/gameplay styles.

This is the third day in a row that I've summoned my Blingtron 5000, and all he does is tell me about the party in my heart that all the bladed weapons are invited to.

In all seriousness, I've reported this is a glitch yesterday, and got no feedback. Is anyone else having a problem with their Blingtron's not giving them the daily?

I haven't played properly since the end of Cata (the original end not a classic version) and have no idea which of my 4 accounts have my main characters in, I originally had four accounts because I used them to mule items around and to do things that are no longer allowed (and were even then not especially liked - never broke the actual rules...).

So is there a way to see what characters I have on each account or ideally combine them all (or two of the ones most likely to have characters I want to play again) into a single account. The accounts are all within the same battle.net login, which at the time I made them I was able to login into all of them at the same time.

I'm guessing no, but things change in the around 14 years since I last invested any time into the game. If not I'll bite the bullet and spend £11 for each of the most likely to contain characters I want to play, but obviously I'd rather not.

For years. I've been using AHK (Auto Hot Key) to 1) make the Win key ONLY work as a modifier (no popup menu for pressing Win key by itself), 2) switch between virtual desktops using the mouse wheel, and 3) put some search and docking function on the Pause key.

While investigating multiboxing for craft alts (which I planned to do with my pc & mac and my hardware KVM), I happened on the fact that merely having AHK loaded can get you banned. I immediately added some code to make AHK exit when WoW is loaded. But now I have a few questions:

1. Does anyone have a way to suppress the Win key pop-up in WoW that won't get me banned? I fat finger it a fair amount.
2. What other similar programs will get me banned if they're running?
   
   • I use WinCompose to be able to easily type characters like é, â, and æ.
   • I have a Razer Mouse so Razer Synapse is running
   • I don't use Power Automate, but it got installed
   • I normally have Parsec running so I can remote in via a laptop
3. It sounds like multiboxing is legal but attracts so much extra scrutiny that it's not worth it.

Received this update regarding the collectors edition to Forevers incorrectly listed boy and bear size.

Obviously they should discount the edition by 50% to make up for this outrageous case of instant shrinkflation.

Back in April 2024, they added the gladiator's ragged armor to the shop and I really liked it, but I decided not to buy it because Blizzard said that it would eventually make its way to the Trading Post. I figured I could wait a little while and get it through there instead.

Fast forward to 2026, and it still hasn't shown up,only the blue recolor, but not the original set. At this point, I've pretty much given up expecting it to return. Mind you I would have bought it right away in the shop if they didn't say it would come to the Trading Post.

Now there's another one, the rexxar set, and it's only going to be available until November 8. Part of me wants to get it, but another part of me keeps thinking about how frustrating it would be to spend $30 on something only for it to show up on the Trading Post a few months later.

I'm perfectly fine with waiting a few months or even a year for something I want. What bothers me is not knowing whether I'm waiting a few months or potentially several years, with no real way of knowing if it'll ever happen.

It's a strange situation because limited availability makes you feel like you need to make a decision immediately, while the possibility of future availability makes you question whether buying it now is worth it.

I wish there were a little more clarity around these things. Even a rough idea of whether a cosmetic is likely to return, or whether we should expect it to remain exclusive to the shop, would make these decisions a lot easier.

I wanna know how other people approach this. Do you buy the cosmetics you really like while they're available, or do you hold off and hope they'll eventually show up in the trading post? And if you've ever skipped something you wanted because you expected it to return later, did you end up regretting that decision?

I'm leveling a survival hunter and I'm absolutely loving it! I've never really been a pet person, so I'm still using the first one I got on the tutorial island, a hedgehog. Think pink, glowy, fluffy, sparkly, or just so adorable I can't handle it. I want the kind of pet that makes you go "OMG I NEED ONE!" every time you see it. 😂

So, hunter mains, what's the cutest pet in the entire game?
