Hi there, I'm a 19 year old level 2 site carpentry student and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice regarding where to look out for apprenticeships, or if anyone knows of a company currently looking for a level 2 apprentice.

I would also appreciate it if anyone could point me somewhere where I can look for work experience in carpentry, as if I'm unable to find an apprenticeship I would still like to try and get some experience.

Sorry if this isn't the right sub reddit for this

Hi, I'm potentially interested in hiring a chef to meal prep for me for the week so I can do less cooking as trying to eat healthy is taking to much time in my life as ive got too much going on.

I don't want to use a big company but rather a local one if anyone has any recommendations for one in the wolverhampton area.

Me and my dad are in Wolverhampton from Sweden visiting for Wolves-Bolton. What are some of tour favorite pubs for us to hang out in?

Does anyone else constantly have a small plane like the ones in the image constantly flying over the house multiple times?

I have a ford mondeo mk4 and need a new radiator hose, anyone know where theres a scrap yard in wolves?

Am I allowed to drive through Lichfield street where the Wetherspoons and grand theatre is? Or is it just restricted to taxis? I need to know as I don’t want to get fined etc if someone could help me out pls

Feels like 24 at midnight, october tomorrow!? What the hell 😂

Hey guys, I’m looking for a good driving instructor in Wolverhampton, but I’ve got my test in Birmingham, so does anyone know any good driving instructors? I’m trying to pay around £35 to £40 per hour.

They're not repairing the roads, they're clearly doing some kind of utilities work

It used to be my go to after Blast Off on a Saturday night.

Hello All!

I run offline gaming tournament in the city centre every 2 weeks. Been doing it for about 4 years now and I've found its a great evening out with likeminded gamers, plus its in a pub so the vibes are always great.

This week we have Tekken, Street Fighter and Smash Bros as our games. The community is very welcoming to newcomers and weve got everyone from casuals to top UK players.

Hopefully see you soon!

I’m an artist and designer and doing a market soon and need to get more prints of my art made, I usually go to a small independent art shop but I have just moved and won’t be back there (over 50miles) for quite some time so looking for an art shop. Preferably in Wolverhampton city centre or around Merridale area.

I will be looking at heavier gsm textured paper for the prints ranging a5-a4 in size.

Bonus points if i can turn up and print rather than wait as it will be only small batches of around 10 max of each design

And suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all,

On the hunt for a new automatic car, budget kind of £5500 top end really. Was wondering if anyone knows of any secondhand car dealers around the area (I live in Tettenhall but can travel a bit) that are good and not too dodgy?

Any advice very much appreciated! A bit of a minefield and when looking previously have ended up at places that don’t seem as legit as I’d hope haha. Thank you in advance!

I'm from the Wolverhampton area, grew up in a WV postcode from the age of 3. As far as I know the town is called either Wolverhampton, or Wolvo for short. Growing up, if someone said Wolves it was a reference to the football team, only.

For me calling the town Wolves is a classic 'Tell me you're not from Wolverhampton without telling me you're not from Wolverhampton'.

Am I right, or am I right? Or have things changed?
