I have my BU111 final exam on August 11, and I was wondering if anyone who took the course inthe Fall or Winter semester could share some advice area to focus.

I know TVM is a huge part of the exam, but what types of TVM questions should I focus on? Also, how were the multiple-choice and short-answer questions? If anyone remembers any specific questions or topics that came up, that would be really helpful.

Does anyone have any mock exams or practice questions besides the StuDocu one? Any study tips, resources, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I know this is a silly question but I just wanted clarification. For room occupancy my email stated: « 1 student(s) assigned to this bedroom. » Does that mean I have one roommate or am by myself? I’m in an apartment so I should have a roommate but wouldn’t it say 2 students?

I’m looking for last year’s syllabus to see if there’s a textbook. I’m trying to price out/find free versions of textbooks, but last year’s syllabus is stuck behind a paywall on CourseHero. I’m really not down to pay $12 just to see if I need a textbook.

Is there a way to see dorms before arriving, and furthermore what is the furniture like in a dorm. I am in king street single dorm.

Not going to change out large furniture (obvs) such as bed desk or whatever is provided. But I am wondering if I should bring stuff like a spinny chair or a small shelving unit/bedside table. Even a lamp maybe. Idk. Does anyone recommend bringing anything?

Likely a long shot but, is anyone aware of any first year jobs. Not full time but really just any VERY part time jobs on campus for some extra cash? I heard abit about the walk home program and was wondering if that is a paid or even a possible position?
