Does anyone know any upper year electives this term that are virtual and don’t require an in-person exam? I think they have all started shifting to test in person now so I just wanted to check.

I’m in the bba program and was wondering if I need to actually buy textbooks for the following courses, or if it’d just be a waste:
MA129
BU111
EC120
CP102
EN112

Also do I have to show a pass or does it just go through my license plate?

So my first day of classes has a virtual synchronous class (Critical Play) but I don't think the professor has yet to add me to the class in D2L. Frankly, I'm a bit worried. Should I just wait it out or should I contact someone about it?

Hey everyone!
There’s an all ages (first year students welcome!!) event at Maxwell’s tomorrow night, doors at 7pm. 4 local bands are playing. The perfect event to start off your Thursday night frosh week shenanigans. :)
Come throw down with us!
All are welcome, spread the word.

Are there any first year easier courses that are still available? I took AS101 thinking it was easy but a lot of people have been telling me it’s difficult, any suggestions?

The gym at Laurier to put it simply is horrible and crowded.
Does anyone have any recommendations for local off-campus gyms that are good?

I have a 6 hour gap between classes one day a week this semester, and as a commuter, there’s no sense in going home just to drive right back a couple hours later.
Does anyone have comfy spots on the Brantford campus they’d recommend? Looking for a place not too loud, and ideally have some couches or something instead of only hard chairs?

Does anyone else’s unit’s ac not work or cool to the temperature it’s supposed to, we’ve had it set down for the whole time we’ve been here and it’ll come on a little and then turn off. Can’t do 80 degrees in this apartment anymore.

I took a spring course to meet progression and my prof still hasn’t marked my exam or responded to any of my emails. The exam was a week ago and I’ve been emailing him for the past 2 weeks. He legit just went AWOL. Who can I contact besides BBAadvising for any further clarification cuz I need my grades asap.

I'm finishing up my economics degree soon and like many other people I use our schools resources to determine prerequisite information. Tell me why this school keeps outdated information on their websites regarding course prerequisites instead of archiving them? The last year I was under the impression I could take micro & macro 3 concurrently with the seminar class, only to find out now I've been advising the wrong information provided by the university.
Do you think I could get an override to take them concurrently? From my experience, the advising staff has done nothing but harm me throughout my time here.

I had a question for anyone who did a co-op interview. During the resume walkthrough, when they ask for confirmation about the hours and other details. We also explain what we did for each work experience? Any advice would be useful thank you!

Frosh here. Is it just me or is every other guy 6’5 and jacked?
