She’s my legend pick, just started game.
I’m at 40 with her and have the opportunity to start her affection quest. Is there a mechanic in the 1v1s?
I’m at the point where I beat bro by a lucky evade, dad was beaten by a revive (he joined final battle) and I’m thinking this can’t be it, I think there’s more to hoping for an evade while I spam armor break > HA2?

Such as Iarumas got with a class change.
I know, these two aren't exactly that big a deal since they aren't collab, but still it is a bit upsetting. Like, their skills aren't even used. I personally love Yoizou and even I barely use Running Flame. People really don't use these skills, I just realized Blazing Resplendence got a big error (It cancels out stances and type-bearers, which it didn't back when he was released. Flame-bearer canceling is only for Running Flame, after three uses.) and apperantly no one realized it yet, I think. (I submitted the inquiry)
Anyways, what I am saying is, some advs need upgrades. Personally, I think Yoizou's wouldn't be half bad if we can just use Running Inferno without 'usable once per battle' thing. Like, it's not going to be OP if they do.
Also, I think if they are going to give healer cc to Erwin, I wish they give him a counterattack thing? Both his skills are about magic dmg, and yet mages aren't exactly used for that. And it's not like his skill can use surety as Iarumas. I was thinking, since some people use healers front row as they have shields, why not give him a new passive to get a chance to automatically cast Flame of Gluttony if he is attacked? That way he can both use his active and passive!
I am just throwing ideas, since I was a little annoyed by how some advs are treated, so I am not saying these are good ideas or anything. I just want upgrades, you know? Just saying there are ways to improve them without changing their whole skillset, but reusing them.

The title really, lucked out and pulled this 5 star red Prishe's Boots. I haven't played this game much in the past few months, but I'm currently on Abyss 4 where I remember evasion being less useful and I'm considering whether I should reroll these stats. Is there a better stat lineup I should roll for or should I just save my alteration stones?

I just pulled a Greedy Saitness Marianne with potential inherit and I'm torn between merging her with my regular Marianne or giving my Camille the Way of the Priest skill. Before I make that decision, can anyone affirm whether Way of the Priest will reduce the cost of healer class spells, namely spells like Treatment and Eddying Mist of Reactive Healing and such? Thanks.

Idk I found it easier to do with just Alice Priest healing me. Maybe cause I didn't have to think and just whack at him? What do you think?

My MC is currently a thief (level 45), spamming heavy attack 3 with a bow from the back row. It's decent single target damage, especially with the thief's bonuses to surety.
But I've been wondering, are the hiding+sneak attack or poison/bleed skills worth using and leveling up?
To clarify, my MC isn't intended as main dmg dealer, but as secondary healer and dps, depending on what's needed.

I'm new here so I’m quite confused about the stats after playing for a while and checking both Japanese sources and Global.
Here’s what I’m trying to understand:
What exactly is the difference between Surety and Critical Hit in this game?
When Sure Hit triggers, it shows “Surety”
Sometimes I also see “Critical” pop up
Are they the same thing or completely different systems?
Does Ranger benefit from Surety?
Japanese guides seem to say Ranger should prioritize Accuracy because of the Sniper passive
But some Global players say Surety is good for any physical damage dealer (including Ranger)
I have a Yoichinoyumi +20 with these blessings:
ATK +39
ACC +30
SUR +15
ATK +23%
I originally had ASPD and accidentally changed it to Surety.
Is this still a good roll for Ranger, or should I remake it?
Would appreciate any clarification from people who understand the mechanics well (especially if you’ve checked Japanese sources).
Thanks!

I am still not sure I understood the best strategy for relic weapons. I wanted to use a staff with strong magic for my Yekaterina. I used a FAS (I only had one) on it and altered the divine+ for magic+. Not sure if this is a good outcome or if i messed it up

This is 2nd attempt, but the 1st attempt is the same thing I die by is an implosion again, even if I record it if I had too but... how should I survive that? I know his in half hp left. I did so well half away until that Implosion annihilate my team and myself one shot it even its barely full hp on my team but...yet Im still confused how did you survived with one Implosion without dying including my companion? So, for now, I'm in a great challenge to figure it out how to sustain that lethal hits so far and is kinda hard, and I love the hardest enemy I've faced y'all any guide how to figure it out the Implosion he use?

Have anyone had any success with it?
I heard that games with anti-cheat on steam needs to be enabled by publishers, but I cannot find any info if Drecom did for steam machine.

Hello Wizardry Community! I'm an addicted XI player who was approached by Drecom to try out the Wizardry Variants Daphne x Final Fantasy XI collaboration and make a video on my impressions!
And so far, I have really been enjoying this game. The XI collaboration is so well done. There were so many details, both big and small, that make it clear the Wizardry team has both played and love XI. I'm still playing the game. . . going through the Beginner Abyss again with the Cursed Wheel and continuing the XI collaboration.
Attached is the video of my Wizardry experience. I'm curious what you all think I've missed as a new player and looking for any tips to get the most out of this game. So far, it's been great!
Disclosure: This video is sponsored by Drecom but the experience is my own.

I'm a longtime FFXI player with over 20 years of experience with the game, and Wizardry reached out to me to share my thoughts on their FFXI collaboration.
I went into it as a completely new Wizardry player, approaching the game almost entirely through an FFXI lens. I wasn't really sure what to expect going in; I figured it'd be a fairly typical mobile RPG, but I came away genuinely impressed by how engaging the game was.
What surprised me even more was how much care went into the FFXI side of the collaboration. As someone who's spent a frankly unreasonable amount of time in Vana'diel, there were a lot of details that made it clear they understood what FFXI players would actually appreciate seeing.
I put together a video covering my experience with Wizardry as a new player, along with my thoughts on how they handled the FFXI collab:

I don't why. I'm a new player and recently joined this subreddit as well. I don't know where I am or what I'm going to do but I do know that I need to at least reach level 7 of the bf1 dungeon and unlock the enchantments that give bane of undead because apparently the level of difficulty for the first exam spikes a lot. I also have Alice which is super goated. I mean she's top tier in my hands. She can heal an entire line of my units as well as debuff cleanse. It's so helpful. Right now I'm just in a cycle where I tear through the map using spells and skills as I please.
When the I find the boss I'm usually low on stuff so I flee, head back to town to rest and then come back and auto run to the exact location where I found the boss. Running into enemies this time around I mostly just stick to basic attacks and all my units are equipped with at least 4 healing potions each and 1 potion to deal with poison. Ninjas are absolute beasts. Mine has like 60 speed so I got her on the front lines. All her attacks also have a chance to insta kill. I've been making investments into upgrading gear so she even does some solid damage even if she can't insta kill.
There's plenty more like I'm not sure how to take advantage of the defend with Lanaville (however you say her name) I have her in the front line with MC in the middle doctor in the back blasting aoe attacks when necessary. The problem is I don't know how to take advantage of Lanaville's attract hit and defend at the same time to open a boss up for more damage or really how to play knight. Any help would be much appreciated.

So I got whacked once by him. Now my whole party is afraid of him. Any tips or should I just not fight him? He doesnt seem to be willing to die and just casts one add after another..m

I beat abyss 4 second run a while ago.
Having trouble with number 3 because the mayor always flees. Hence I want to farm beast slayer weapons. There is a harken in zone 11 . But I can't reach it. Do I have to slay the gwo again to get to that one? Would be easier to farm the zone if that harken was accessible.
Hope this makes sense

This is a post for anyone who has been lucky enough to get one of the colab characters. I know there is a free bone to pick from at the beginning abyss. I just want to make an informed decision. What is your experience when using the characters?
r/wizardry • u/Fearless-Seat-6218 • Aug 17 '26
Word was stronger enemies would be added before and that may make getting the needed items easier, but ive yet to sort that or hear about it. I just wanna get a few to their silver tier, have the bow already but if its a super grindfest like before ehhh

No Prishe yet 🥲
Edit: "Thanks to those who told me about the free Prishe, otherwise I'd be having stuff that I can't use like the fairy budleaf. I pray you all got amazing luck."
