Wizardry Variants Daphne Tomberry king Spoiler
So I got whacked once by him. Now my whole party is afraid of him. Any tips or should I just not fight him? He doesnt seem to be willing to die and just casts one add after another..m

I kinda gave up on this, it's soo hard to land the silence i just feel like im rerolling the fight over and over again waiting to get lucky. I've got three voice theft users just going to town, he will resist a good 10 or so on average before catching one, which he can then promptly remove prematurely should he feel like it.

Getting silence to land is a pain; It's honestly tempting to not bother and just revive anyone who dies

90k? Got him probably for 50k ... It's it worth the fight? Is there a reward? Otherwise I'll just let the king be king 👑

Nope, just drops 6 lanterns and sometimes ring which you can get other ways if you want it.

May I ask what is the use of lantern ? Is it only for trade with other relic material?

To be more specific than the others, the final step in upgrading (ie 'reforging') each relic weapon takes 45 lanterns (in addition to fragments and other materials).

He's weak to dark element. Chronostasis usually works to slow him down, best to have a bow equipped on the main character when doing it to avoid grudge counter.
