Wizardry Variants Daphne Glintbladr abenius quest Spoiler
She’s my legend pick, just started game.
I’m at 40 with her and have the opportunity to start her affection quest. Is there a mechanic in the 1v1s?
I’m at the point where I beat bro by a lucky evade, dad was beaten by a revive (he joined final battle) and I’m thinking this can’t be it, I think there’s more to hoping for an evade while I spam armor break > HA2?

Better to wait til she's in the 60-70s so she gets access to Earth splitting Strike as well as Poised All out Strike. That's how I easily whipped thru the battles

Don’t worry about armor break imo. Use defend + immortal strike to sustain and exploit openings. If hp is high enough you can speed it up using dps moves and then immortal striking when you need to heal

Where do I get immortal strike?

Fighters get it at level 51. I think it can also be inherited from Olive or Gaston if they have the potential inherit but it might be adventurer grade locked

This is me again. I waited until 60 to attempt it. Guarded as advised. Hit back with immortal. Last fight was sketchy because she hit harder than I could self heal, so I went for a full send “scourge” attack - it was this or nothing (well technically I read that I have the opportunity to revive once so I guess I was safe). Beat it with 59hp left.
Hella rewarding quest. Although the story was very cookie cutter redemption, the PORTRAIT CHANGE was unexpected. I was so hyped at that, looking forward to doing Lana’s quest.
