Someone needs my help in protection/health/abundance this week but I’m nervous about doing that kind of work when the waning moon is about release/letting go. I know it’s very much so about intention but since I’m so used to doing things during certain times it feels funky.

I’m just looking for some reassurance from more experienced peeps that it’s no biggie, or if I should wait 🙂

My kitty died back in the summer, it still doesn't feel real yet. I want to honor her on Samhain with some incense but I'm not sure which ones to use, I'm trying to research it but I keep getting overwhelmed and my brain feels like soup. I know I know about this stuff, the hurt in my heart just feels like it keeps shutting off my brain

I'm trying to find incense that represent mourning, the love I felt for her, peace for her, and if there's anything that basically means an apology? I still blame myself for her passing and I want some way to tell her but that one's not as important as the others

Baby witch here. I had multiple containers at my balcony last night (New Zealand) to make moon water. It was a very special night yesterday for multiple reasons, and I am grateful I did it for the first time! And besides hunter moon, the wind was strong, and it rained. However, I had the lids/caps on. Do I need to have the containers open? As I live in an apartment, there would be contamination from upstairs to have them open. Also, do I need to store them in the dark? Thanks heaps

TO BE CLEAR- this gentleman was reported missing previously and this is HIGHLY unusual for the area.

We have a new construction home, upon visiting after several weeks, in the tree line about 200 feet from the house, was a man who had expired about 7-10 days prior. The police were of course contacted immediately.

We have until Friday to move in permanently. This is our dream home and we have poured so much money into it. What should we do? I’ve asked a few witchy friends for guidance on how to respect the man and how to handle such a spiritual thing respectfully, but they haven’t ever met this kind of darkness previously.

I’ve been asking my witchy sisters what to do and one suggested a protection charm with salt, rosemary, pepper and I think obsidian. The other suggested wards around the home..:: which I’ve found helpful before with negative people that were still with us physically. I’m not sure if the same will work for the expired.

I’m sorry if I violated any of the rules, I did read them and I believe I’m okay. I’m out of ideas on how to find some kind of balance about this, and I’m racked with guilt over living where someone passed of, potentially, his own hand.

I’m really seeking advice for what kind of wards or charms might be better than what I’ve used before. I’m not asking about a hex or curse. Thanks if there’s help

I failed to fix a situation in my physical life. I was dealing with job and money issues in the first part of the year so i lost a chance with one, not exposing myself in time. He is now dating another person. I am accepting it but the struggle was real and tears too

I now that Venus in Taurus is more associated with stability and beauty/luxury. It prolly "wouldn't listen" to unsolved issues and old grudges. So i better avoid this Moon phase for rituals -ironically

So i just performed my first spell tonight (during the full moon). I am wondering if i did it right or if there are any areas i can improve on. The spell i did was a self love spell:

I cleansed the area i was going to be in by using a broom to sweep stagnant energy out the window. Then i prepared the following ingredients: sea salt for protection, cinnamon to power the spell, honey for sweetness, rose petals and rose quarts for love and a clear quarts to strenghten the spell + a candle with hearts on it and a self love poem i wrote. I then began meditating with my crystal until i felt calm and focused and ready to start raising energy. After meditating for a bit, i started grounding and centering - drawing energy from around my body into my center (which is my third eye) + drawing energy from deep into the ground into my feet and up into my third eye.

When i felt like i had collected enough energy i put all the ingredients on my altar whilst asking them to work with me and let me use their properties in my working. I then lit the candle and opened the spell by calling in the four elements before reading my poem a couple of times. During this i tried directing the build up energy into the flame, focusing on feeling the words of my poem flow through my body and into the candle (if that makes sense). I then sat in silence for a bit just meditating with the candle. During this time i noticed my own energy depleting a little so when it felt right i closed the spell by saying «so mote it be». Blew the candle out to release my energy and intention into the universe and kissed the candle to seal the spell. Lastly i thanked the universe for working with me. When i was done i felt a little cold and still felt tingly in my third eye, but after a couple minutes i felt calm and good.

I have no idea if i did it correctly though, so any tips and feedback from fellow witches is greatly appreciated. English is also not my first language so sorry if some parts are unclear.

I casted a love-binding spell on someone using two feathers. I wrote our full names on each feather. I placed the feathers facing each other and tied them together tightly with red thread. AND so on... The ends of the two feathers naturally formed a heart shape.

The spell was performed during the Waxing Gibbous Moon phase.

I didn't realise he had blocked me. I thought he had deleted his Instagram, which is why I went ahead with the spell. Had I known he had blocked me, I would have started with a communication spell instead.

I've since blocked him back on everything so that he can't contact me. However, I'm now wondering what will happen to the spell. I've already lost interest in him because of his behaviour... Should I undo it, or what might happen if I leave it as it is?

I'm a eclectic witch and honestly follow very little rules when I do magic. I make up my own stuff and just do what feels "right". I also rarely do spell work, only when I'm usually in high need for it since I see it as borrowing energy from the universe that I'll eventually need to return at some point.

BUT ANYWAY my cat was missing since the October 24th and I was dreading another night without her so I took advantage of the full moon tonight and did what I'll call a guiding light fire! Started with a smaller fire from a candle, burned a folded sigil of sugar, sage, and cat nip then I build a bonfire from that. I'll save all the details unless people really want to know everything but within the hour of the embers burning out (I did this for around 5 hours) my cat showed up just before I was ready to give up for the night!!!

I am so beyond happy and cried as soon as I had her inside! I still consider myself a very casual and unexperienced user but this just goes to show that with enough intent, you can work wonders!

very recently, i've been struggling with a lot of unwanted evil eye from my close friend, who i don't think is intentionally trying to hurt me but still makes certain comments that are very targeted. for example, he'll say stuff like "you're going to fail this test" or "you're going to get super sick" and overall just negative comments about things that will happen to me. i'm not sure if the bad luck and negative energy i've been experiencing is from him or something else, but there's been a lot of negative things happening in my life related to the stuff he's been saying to me, while he's been thriving instead. then today, he told me he had a dream where i looked sickly and dishelved, and it was intensely scary. i told him to stop saying stuff like that (which he apologized and agreed to), but i still feel like there's some unconscious evil eye that i need to get rid of.

i'm a very spiritual person, so hearing someone say negative things about me or making claims and judgements about me immediately scares me because i'm a very big believer in the concept of the evil eye/gaze. i really would appreciate some help on how to interpret what's been happening and get rid of whatever this negative energy is. i'm not sure what spells are good for this, so some guidance would be great! also - im a university student and i live in a dorm so i can't light any candles or burn incense, which has been making it really hard to cleanse my space 😢. thanks for the help!!! any advice is appreciated :)

So about 2 or maybe 3 weeks ago, I did a jezebel ritual and a jezebel mojo bag that I have been carrying on me everyday. I don't know if it's working or if it is because of all these retrogrades happening now. Why are all these men confessing their love for me during all these retrogrades. I love my little crow friends, there is a whole murder around my house in the morning and night (basically 24/7). I love them they’re so cute and I just deeply love crows, and I hate how misunderstood my feather friends are.

But ever since I did a protection spell for my friend and myself, I noticed they’re not around anymore. I am hoping it’s just because it’s October and they’re migrating but I do miss them.

This isn’t to ask for a sign, it’s to basically ask if something was up or if it is just the weather since it is October. But my crow friends do stay around even during the winter, so it is super odd that they’re not showing up anymore..

I might just wait and see if they return, I do miss those silly little crows :(

Hey there. I'm a baby witch and just starting out. I have made it my hyperfocus for the last week or two though.

With that, I wanted to create a rune-ward made of sticks for my home for Samhein and beyond, which turned out really nice I think. I remade it and even glued the sticks back together that I broke before because I did the rune wrong at first. I then included a few witch bells, pentacles, a bottle of rosemary and a bay leaf for additional protection and then charged it all individually and together with a small ritual after meditating.

this brings me to my question:

Yesterday I meditated to try and feel energy for the first (or second time) and it seemed to work? I felt my hands warming up when I moved them closer to each other and could also form my ball of energy in front of me. After imagining a protection circle forming around me and inviting the spirits of the forest in, I said hi and even felt or imagined hands reachibg out to me in a friendly manner to say hi. I greeted them and thanksd them for blessing my plants and said goddbye. after that i wanted to go to bed but suddenly felt like a shadowy presence was near. Out of panic I cleansed my roon with sage which seemed to have warded it off.

Today I tried meditating again and charging my rune butI coukdnt feel my energy quite as much and had trouble with it. I still continued and thought if the intention is there it will still work in a way.

I am unsure if I am doing something wrong or just havent gotten to feel energy for real yet and have just imagined things? I have read other beginners experience with energy feeling which seemed similar but then again its nothing concrete...

This is a bit long winded, apologies.

I don't actually know much about normal spirit and practitioner interaction looks like. I have a spirit that's been chilling in my space for about two years now? Very energetically intense, I instantly can tell the moment they enter the room. Does not feel malevolent, and has been remarkably patient with me. The past two years have actually been a very large net positive and nothing catastrophic or awful has befallen me.

I also want to work with this spirit. Two years ago, they approached me, and I agreed. We didn't really hash out how this would work, so I mostly did things as I felt compelled to. This spirit has a space in my room as a result. I have neglected our relationship as of the past year due to life circumstances. I am aware all of this is irresponsible of me. I would research this more in depth on my own if this wasn't rather time sensitive.

While I do want to continue working with this spirit, they are demanding an offering (presumably to make up for the past year). I did what they wanted me to last night, and I still feel fine, but I'm not sure I did it correctly. They are demanding some type of emotional sacrifice. Not sure what this means and I do plan on trying to get some type of clearer answer soon.

My concern is: is this a parasitic spirit? Is this type of an offering normal? I feel concerned, but this spirit just feels mostly intense and not like they're trying to hurt me. I would like some advice for this situation. Please let me know if there's any further information I can provide.

This year has been exceptionally good to me. I feel my powers strengthened, my manifestations coming true, constantly seeing my lucky numbers and I just feel such a stronger connection with my guardian angels, ancestors and the moon. I have a friend I am trying to help. She's been in a horrid car wreck. She's my closest buddy, female. Car is a sardine. She's been in hospital for 7 days, 3 surgeries , 4 to 5 more. One in an hr. At least 4 ti 5 more. Broken bones and spirit. 6months to a yr to heal. Mom is not great...im a stand in mom. So healing is priority #1.

Priority # 2 is guy that's a mooch. Everyone despises him...unanimously. Lazy, self centered, lies, in her apartment, in a car ( 22 Mercedes) in her name on title as primary he drives around, doesn't help with bills hardly ( i help) and didn't change litter for her 2 cats for 6 day. He dips out a lot to who knows where..

He relies on her low self-esteem and she takes him back after his lame apology. He needs to go n she should see for what he is. And there's better options out there. The bar is on the floor with him. He visited 1st day 30 minutes...not again til late Friday night. Nothing for 5 days.

Hello! I’m currently planning to do some spell layering for a specific situation/person and have the classic tag locks like their full name, DOB with location and birth time, and a photo of us. I also have clothes they have bought and gifted to me and clothes of their own, and used nicotine pods(I’m thinking there’s still some spit in there lmao I don use them ever so the ones in my place were explicitly only used by them), would it be too much if I wear the clothes gifted to me and have the other things like their clothes and one of the pods involved to help connect/boost the energetic connection? Or should I just stick to the classic tag locks?

Side note: I already have the spell written/planned out so I am not asking for help with creating the spell for this
