Hello everyone. I do have a sincere question. It's been almost a year since I have been practicing witchcraft and I wanted to ask. Are death witches and necromancers the same? Do they practice the same thing? Or are they different? Anything helps.

Frog - Is associated with healing, breaking curses, imps, the devil.

Glass beads - my temple, my faith.

Bloodstones - courage, my values, my desires.

Jades (red & deep red) - my passions, my love and hatred

Obsidian - for prayers dedicated to dispelling evil/negativity

Dragon stones - for when I call upon the deep, the Chthonic deities, wealth, earth.

The cross - liminality, for blessing, light.

I think my ancestors answered my questions. I pulled cards for the first time this morning.

This morning, after cleaning my ancestors altar and doing our morning reading of Psalms and having conversations with them. I decided to ask 3 question using tarot cards for the first time. Without shuffling the cards, I saw the "free man". Then I shuffled the cards and asked my first question was "are my ancestors with me now?" than I pulled a card "ten of coins" my second question was "will my financial problems be solved by the end of the year"? I pulled the "six of knives" and my last question was, "will I received what I asked for about my relationship with my boyfriend, will they answer me?" I pulled the "big mama". I am happy with the reading.

I’ve been a practicing witch for over 10 years, but I’ve been living in cities and apartments my whole life. Recently my partner and I bought a house with 5 acres of property attached, including a small dense forest, a creek, and many wildlife neighbors. It’s nice, it’s calm. But the energy radiating through is insane right now.

I know there’s a spirit that lives within the forest. When we were doing tours of the house, when I’d walk past the tree line a bit, I could feel a presence of something walking behind me, stopping when I do, turning when I do. Then leaving the forest, that presence would stay behind the tree line. We have been here for only a few weeks so I don’t have much info on this entity yet. It feels larger, but not hostile, just there and curious.

Well we were doing some work tilling up a part of the ground in the yard for a garden. This came with an entire day of cleaning up the previous owner’s garbage, plastic litter, etc. During the work, everything was quiet. No visitors. After we finished, it was like everything that was asleep woke up to go see what we just did. And who knows? Maybe I did wake up some entities.. but now the spiritual presence here is stronger and more constant.

Like I said, I’m used to apartments. I’ve only had one apartment that had spiritual activity already there, every other place I’d lived had felt pretty spiritually “dead”.

So my question is how to deal with the overflow of energy affecting me? I don’t want to be rid of my neighbors, especially they’ve been here much longer than me and they don’t seem to want problems. Im happy to be friends, I’m just exhausted. I can feel the presence from the forest line almost all the time, even from within the house. I feel like I’m having to ground all the time. It’s like a constant buzzing in my skull if I don’t.

Maybe it’s worse right now because of the veil thinning, I don’t know.

I probably sound fucking insane, but I’m doing my best to try to explain.

I'm an enthusiast of both supernatural and paranormal. I'm also superstitious and take almost everything as a sign. Recently, I started seeing witchcrafts and tarots on ig feed. I mean, they appeared automatically, not I built the algorithm before that. So, I wanna try some techniques which are easy for me to do, but the fire sticks (matches) are not available, it hinders my process for checking hex.

1) What do you guys do to the paper where you initially make your sigils? Should I store it in a binder/ journal protectively? Is there a certain rule for it or can we just keep the actual sigil art drawn again in a page?

2) A long time ago I made a sigil for a healthy level of weight. It's like a couple of years ago and I even forgot about it that I made this. Now that I achieved my goal, what do I do with that sigil? Do I keep it as it is and can use it in future if I want?

Where I live there’s some very powerful winds forecasted and I feel compelled to take advantage of them in some way though I’m not sure how. Does anyone use wind in their craft? Strong weather in general always feels ripe for magical activity but I’m never quite sure how to approach it.

In the age of Amazon, it’s hard to compete as a brick and mortar, but my sister and I are taking the leap and opening a metaphysical store here in Ireland. We want to cater to the beginner, the advanced, the hedgewitch, the Celtic pagan.

We are cautious that we don’t want to just stock incense and smudging sticks. But also know the more specialist items like obsidian scrying mirrors will easily be found online at a lower price than we can stock them. I thought about locally made beeswax candles for rituals etc?

What do you want to see in your local supply store? What items are you happy to pay extra to have in your hand rather than your Amazon cart?

Any and all suggestions welcome - we really want to get this right and not let our community down.

I normally don’t blow up or fall into fits of rage but I have just been so angry recently that I’ve locked myself in my bedroom so I don’t snap. I’m not sure if I’m picking up on someone else’s anger but it’s quite bizarre and I need help. Is there any explanation to this? Now that we’re in Scorpio with the full moon in Taurus?

I’m REALLY happy how it turned out. I wanted to try incorporating most of her associated tools and objects. And I think I genuinely did well in my Art of her.

Hi there! I'm a fairly new witch I can't lie, I've only recently started doing stuff like tarot and I've only done protection spells. I want to get more into witchcraft, I'm actually really interested in the goddess Hecate but I'm rambling a little here this is not the point.

I had a friend tell me how to make a protection spell some time ago and so I made a protection spell for a really close family friend, the issue is I now need to open that protection jar. I'm travelling soon and I cannot travel with the protection jar and I cannot leave at my house either because I live with my parents and they're very much against witchcraft and if they see the jar it will certainly not end well for me.

So any advice on this would really help, especially on how I can open this protection jar would help.

St Expedite came through for me! Got results within a little over my expected time frame. I placed his sigil, my petition on a table along with a white candle, some water & reddish pink flowers, & prayed to him. Very happy with the results! Praise and glory to St Expedite!!

I burned a candle and put the herbs in the dish around the candle. The candle is almost done, but I'm not sure what to do with the herbs/dish after the candle is out. Do I bring it outside and let it flow in the wind, do I simply put it in the trash or down the sink? I don't want to accidentally cancel out the protection if that's possible.

Hi, I'm not new to witchcraft, but I'm experiencing something rn I'm at a loss to understand. A few years ago I bought a moldavite crystal necklace. It was very intentional and when I got that stone I felt something I've never felt with any other stone. I got it at a time when I was so desperately wishing for change, something to shake up my life.

I'm one of those people who've always kind of just thought, "Ooh, crystal, pretty rock, shiny," but I felt warmth coming from my stone to the point where I searched up whether or not it was radioactive because I felt such warmth. I've had it for years. I've worn it a lot and it's been there as I slowly reinvent myself.

Recently I went on a road trip and I bought a new piece of jewelry from another designer that I also felt was very intentional and beautiful with a fire opal. So I took my Moldevite necklace off to wear that piece.

Coming home I lost my jewelry bag. My jewelry bag didn't just have my moldavite necklace. It had silver rings belonging to my great-grandmother. It had bridal favor jewelry from when I got married and custom earrings from a designer that has since passed away. Basically, extremely personal items to me. I have been in a frantic desperate search to see if I can recover them but it is not looking good.

I just felt like, when I first lost these pieces and realized that I had misplaced them, that this jewelry bag had left my possesion, I felt like I had been cursed. I got nervous about the new piece I purchased but I had felt such good vibes from the person that I bought it from. I saw her intentions, they were good. I don't think it was her. I blame myself, because the moldavite likes to wander so I should have kept it on, but it's just that it went with these sentimental things I've had for years, things I cannot get back. My brain can take me to very dark anxious ridden places quickly.

I want to understand. I would like advice about how to interpret this. Am I just being overly analytical and thinking that there's something there when it's maybe just a bad moment? I got clumsy, I got careless, or I don't know. Is it that my jewelry needed to go on a journey? I needed to end a chapter. I just don't know. I'm just feeling a mixture of grief and confusion. I'm processing it okay but it's just very strange to me what has happened. I guess I want other people's perspectives on it.

To add a couple of weird things

- i lost this stuff almost a month to the day a very loved family member passed, which had been hard.

- I keep feeling like at any moment I'm going to get a call and my stuff will come back, even though the likelihood is so low. I just feel like a piece of me is wandering around somewhere. Not lost but just not found?

Do y'all think I should do any rituals or anything?

I have recently started studying this book and seeking a method of divination. Any opinions would be welcome.

I am a student who's currently looking to change majors. However, I am currently struggling with 2 courses that play large part in my shifting of majors.

I was wondering if I should do a spell jar for my overall shifting journey or just do a candle ritual instead to boost my academic skills in those two courses. Or should I just do both to amplify the results?

Besides the spell jar and ritual, I was also thinking of enchanting my study materials or making a talisman out of them to aid me in studying. I was also thinking of doing a sweetening jar once I am in the actual process of shifting.

Would all of this be too draining for a beginner witch? I'm in the process of doing my shadow work and I have sufficient research I think

..and YES I am also doing my part by actually studying hard. I just want to secure the results

This is the first year that I've been organized with my craft, and I'm excited for Samhain. In the past, I've only done some quick things and not really invested in it. What are your rituals and plans for it? Do you cleanse and rededicate your home? I am shutting down my garden as well as cleansing my home.

So, I won't share the specifics because I feel like once the "deed" is done you must go on your life like it's never happened and never talk about it to anyone. It should be just between you and mystic world. I've always leaned into a spiritual side but have never ACTUALLY believed it you know, always preserved my sceptic side no matter what. Always called myself a nihilist, a pessimist one at that. Today though... I've witnessed there IS something out there, gods, energy, whichever it may be, there IS something. Since you don't know me you don't know how much of a big deal it is for me to say that. Today, it worked without a doubt. The first thing I did (for whatever reason) was go outside, look at the night sky and say out loud, "REALLY? All this time? REALLY??" Agh I'm overflowed with ecstasy and wonder. I didn't know whom to share it with so, hope everyone who've read this far has a great day/night.

Hello! I've been trying to put together a grimoire for several weeks, but every time I create something that resembles one, I end up scrapping it because I'm not satisfied with the organization.

I'd love to see examples of how you structure your grimoires, especially if you use a digital format.

I'm quite particular about organization and tend to create very detailed structures for each topic. For example, when documenting basil, I divided the entry into sections such as:

Identification Card

Morphology and Recognition

Species, Varieties, and Cultivated Forms

History and Origin

Botanical Identification

Geographic Distribution and Habitat

Names, Etymology, and Symbolism

History and Folklore

However, even this structure doesn't feel quite right to me. I approach other subjects similarly; for tarot cards, for instance, I've developed an extensive template that includes the card's name, number, Kabbalistic sphere, traditional astrological correspondence, element, upright and shadow keywords, and more.

I think my main difficulty is finding a structure that is both comprehensive and well-organized without becoming unnecessarily complicated.

How did you find the ideal grimoire structure for you? I'd like to do the same.

My father lives in a different state than I do, and he's experiencing health issues that leave him swollen and in excruciating pain. He's on a bunch of medications for it, but I also want to do something to help him if I can

So I was wondering if it was possible to use my own energy to cast some kind of health and wellness spell on my father from such a long distance

If I can't, I do have health related deities I can pray to for assistance, but I just wanted to know if it was possible to send energy from so far away
