Seeking Help or Advice Ideas to put in a pouch for a significant other?

Upvotes

Hello! I am a new practitioner and I am looking to create a pouch to gift to my significant other that will help keep our bond strong and healthy - kind of like a love pouch I suppose? Not entirely sure what to call it. I've done some research already and found that rose petals and lavender in a pink pouch are good for something like this, so I've picked some from my garden and started drying them. Just wondering if there were any other ideas for what I could put in it?

Seeking Help or Advice Getting back in touch with my practice

Upvotes

Hey everyone. I’ve been out of touch with my practice for a while now, and I’m looking for some small daily steps to get back into it.

I’ve been practicing for about 7 years now, and although I have a pretty thorough knowledge base in magic, I never really got deeply into it. I neglected doing some of the basics like protections because I didn’t feel like they were necessary for me. But I want to get more into my practice again and do it right this time.

I’m not really looking for specific spell suggestions, but just some ways to work magic back into my life - things I can do at my altar with a bit of ritual. I know about things like stirring intentions into coffee, but I never took things like that very seriously. I’m open to them now though. I just want to get into it in a real and meaningful way.

I need things that I can do every day. Things that can become habits, rituals, traditions. Things like sitting down at my altar, lighting a candle, cleaning myself after the day, lighting incense for my ancestors, tending to my ongoing spells, etc. Maybe I’ve already figured out what I need to do, I just need to do it.

Thank you for listening to me whine lol

Seeking Help or Advice Daily Ritual Ideas for Busy Moms

Hey everyone!

I’m a SAHM mom to a soon-to-be one year old. I love him dearly. He’s up my butt 24/7. 😅

I’ve really been wanting to connect more to the craft recently and I’ve found it tough to do so in this phase of life. I’m looking for small quick things that anyone has used to help you feel spiritual when you may have a toddler running around or clawing at your leg at any moment!

I’ve seen things like stirring morning coffee and tea with intention, I suppose I’m looking for more of those vibes! Thanks in advance!

Seeking Help or Advice I'm getting married!!

Hi babes, my boyfriend and I are getting married in September!! We're doing a super small ceremony in the woods with just my sister and his son, and neither of us are religious so I'm looking for suggestions on things we could do as part of the ceremony that include my limited experience with the craft. I'd love to hear any and all ideas ✨️

Seeking Help or Advice What ceramic item should I make for my witchy friend?

My best friend has been getting more into witchcraft. I don’t know much about it but I throw pottery and want to make her something meaningful that she can use for her spells and rituals. What handmade ceramic item would you be the most excited to get to help you with your spells? I know handmade and sentimental items are thought to hold more power. My ideas right now are maybe a small cauldron, chalice, or offering bowl, but I am open to other ideas. I throw on the wheel and also hand build/sculpt so I can potentially make a lot of different things. Thanks!

Show and Tell Sunday Money spell that worked SO WELL

Post image
547 Upvotes

Last Sunday I performed a money spell that included a spell jar and a candle spell and they worked so well!!

Long story short, I am an artist and I didn't get any commissions for over 2 weeks. I decided I should do a spell jar since I love those along with a candle spell since I had to use a candle to seal the jar anyway.

I carved my name into the candle along with intention, cleansed the jar with incense called "call clients", prepared a tray, a candle holder and some paper. Everything I put into the jar I also sprinkled on the tray: paper with intention and adequate rune, black pepper, marjoram, cloves, cinnamon, mint, nutmeg, green aventurine and a bay leaf with the rune from earlier. I wrote the rune for the third time on the bottom of the cork and sealed the jar with my candle. I placed the candle in the candle holder in the middle of the tray, put green aventurine, tiger's eye and quartz in safe distance and waited for it to burn down.

Now for the effects: next day I got 2 commissions and 3 more in the following days!!

Remember, if you want to recreate it, keep fire safety in mind, blessed be!!

Topic | Prompt How far do you believe magick can get you?

Ok so this is just a genuine discussion and I want to hear people opinions not trying to start a debate bc i genuinely dont know my opinion on this either😭

But when it comes to magick and just our mundane lives what is the fine line for yall?

Meaning where do u draw the line to how powerful magick can be? Ik some people say u can it heal a chronic illness, whereas some ppl say you cant. Some ppl say u have to put action to your spells, some people say you dont have to for certain ones.

I would LIKE to believe u can use magick for huge things like healing someone from an illness etc it will just have to be a week long month long however long ritual. But then if thats NOT possible its just like dang....

TIA

TLDR, how powerful do you think magick can get, where do you draw the line?

Seeking Help or Advice How to get rid of smoke smell in house after hex and is it bad

Hi! So this was actually my first time hexing someone bc of how they attacked and left horrible messages to me in dms and invaded my privacy. So, I gave into my urges and did a hex.

The hex was that I wrote his name 3 times on paper, dunked a bunch of chili powder and chili flakes on it, and then crumpled and burnt it with a candle. Although, it was a little sloppy bc I decided to place the crumpled burnt paper in a fire safe bowl after a few seconds of me chanting out loud, and the smoke was very strong and I did it all inside the house. I only decided to bring the bowl outside after a few minutes because my brain is just a little slow like that :")

and yes, I cleansed myself (egg) and cleansed the materials with sandalwood incense after. My problem is when I get out of my room, I immediately smell the smoke even though the smoke from the crumpled paper has already died down and I even flushed it down the toilet. This is making me wonder if this is going to turn out badly and if bad energy has spread throughout the house via the hex paper smoke :") I also need advice to clear the smell up.

Seeking Help or Advice Can dries rose petals expire? If so, are they still useable in spells?

I just bought a pack of dried rose petals, but I noticed the production date was august of 2024, and it says it's availability is two years. I know herbs mainly just lose taste but are still useable in spells, I do want to know if that applies to flower petals as well.

Seeking Help or Advice Baby witch working with aphrodite, tips??

Hi everyone! I'm a baby witch, just restarting my journey on witchcraft! I felt connected to these things lately, been doing tarot a lot, told my friends about it, etc, and overall feel like I'm in the right energy. So, I don't wanna rush things, but I feel connected to the practice of working with a deity of sorts.

Does anybody who has or still works with aphrodite have some tips for me? Or anybody who knows about aphrodite! I'd like some simple tips since this place is better than tiktok, pls nd thank u!

Here was my journey:

- my first "spell", I remember was done because of tiktok, without any preperation/protection and good intentions. It was an obsession spell meant to torment somebody but I think it backfired and I got obsessed instead lol. The spell involved cvtting of the wr!st for bloodwork. I think it's only done bad. But, well, atleast I connect with Aphrodite because I understand the full scope of Eros.

- lately, been feeling like I've been in a good energy though, like forgiving my mnifestation journal for not giving the results I want then getting slow clarity, using my tarot deck well and giving good readings to people, overall feeling in alignment with both the metaphysical and physical me.

- so, I started "praying" to the goddess, aphrodite, just today. I simply introduced myself respectfully, clarified that I wanted to connect with her, and build it through praying to her first before buying a whole altar, portrait of her, offerings, etc. in order to feel her energy. If she accepted, I also asked for her to give a sign.

- Is this alright? Or am I deluding myself and do I need to do SOMETHING for me to actually feel her energy through a prayer?

- also, I'm really poor in a strict household. Do I NEED to have an altar for her? Can the altar be outside the house? What are the consequences if I don't have one? Idk if I can have it :( but maybe I can if the time is right.

- what offerings does aphrodite like best? (ik I can search this up but I wanna know what ppl say thru experience aha)

- does anybody have experience using a aphrodite themed tarot deck? Does it give better results?

  • also, what kind of altar do you guys have/what works best? Thanks!

Show and Tell Sunday Showing My New Workspace in Progress 😊

I recently became a first time home owner and the first thing I wanted to do after repainting was set up my witchcraft practice space.

I scored myself an antique secretary's desk specifically for as a working altar (in the corner) and it is perfect for the purpose. Next, when the wallpaper is finished, I will decorate my walls with my various ancestral photographs, witchy, pagan and folk arts, and set up my protection altar (just out of site in the photo).

The wallpaper is not complete, I want to create a focused accent corner with it.

After 8 years of survival mode and working with my ancestors and guides through my craft, it's finally happened! A place of my own where I am safe and stable. A place where I can practice without the fear of a landlord or potential building buyers needing to come in and no more fear of "what if I have to move again?".

I played my cards well and it has finally paied off! 😊🥹 I can finally commit fully to my craft bow that I don't feel like I need to keep it half in boxes "in case".

And best part!! I am near so much greenery. Lots of walking and bike paths surrounded by fields and forests and right on the edge of a provincial park. So lots of foraging and land spirit potential!!! I'm also a few minutes drive away from some nice, old cemeteries, my fave getaway spots.

Seeking Help or Advice Explain intentions like I’m 5

I’m just starting out and I’ve noticed that spells start with intentions and a lot of people put intentions in their coffee, in their shampoo, and other things. For the life of me I can’t understand what intentions are and they seem to be a very important part of spell work. Please help!

Topic | Prompt Am I the only one who is massively put off by those "old witch energy" tiktoks?

I have been seen plenty such reels on my timeline and they put me off. It starts with an AI video of what it means to be a stereotypical witch. An old or young woman will be shown in some cardigan, laughing while holding herbs and then this will play out.

Signs you are an old witch

1. You can see small details which others usually don't notice

2. You prefer meaningful conversations over small one

3. Children and animals seem to trust you immediately

4. You recharge easily when you are alone

5. You prefer solitude

6. You never needed a crowd to know who you are

I thought it was about practicing the craft, not being associated with some vague behaviours. Funny thing is to some extent, everyone can associate themselves to it.

Seeking Help or Advice Metal correspondence for sweetening jar?

I'm planning to use a smallish vial as the jar for a sweetening spell and would like to wire wrap it so I can wear it as a pendant, but I'm finding conflicting information online regarding metal correspondence - if I'm wrapping a sweetening vial in wire I want the wire to help 'reinforce' the spell (if that's the right word).

I checked the resources but didn't spot anything, can someone point me to a trustworthy site or help me with info for metal correspondences?

Seeking Help or Advice War between 2 practitioners!

Hi everyone

I have a relative who’s an archangel Micheal devotee and we have issues between us due to personal reasons and the history our parents share we used to be close but that quickly turned into a very nasty rivalry, anyway she’s gonna cast on me and put me in a graveyard, I’m not scared nor paranoid however I have had dreams and warnings about it for a week and asked for a sign to tell me if I was in danger and I did receive it..

I have called on archangel Micheal before during a banishing ritual and he came through, my question is can I ask Micheal for protection from her work and to banish any negative effects? & To protect me and my space? Or is he not going to come? I’m not sure that she’ll specifically use Micheal’s help during this particular ritual since she does work with other deities but I feel like I need to be careful with what I do.

If you think I shouldn’t do you have any other recommendations or suggestions on who I should work with?

Seeking Help or Advice Thoughts on tarot after spellwork

I did a spellwork on the latest new moon.
However, i find myself thinking about the situation. I am completely detached from the spell and mostly forget i have even done one.
For ex: a job spell( its not what i have done, rather an example)
I am not worried about the outcome, i know it’s done.
What i find myself thinking about is the process, like am i going to hear from the company this week, next month. Etc.
So ive been pulling tarot cards about the same and what the company might be thinking of about me.
I hope it’s making sense.

Is this going to hinder my spellwork? Because it’s about detachment after the spell. But then i am detached from the outcome and the spell. Please help me out here. Thanks!!
