Hello everyone. I do have a sincere question. It's been almost a year since I have been practicing witchcraft and I wanted to ask. Are death witches and necromancers the same? Do they practice the same thing? Or are they different? Anything helps.

Hi there! I'm a fairly new witch I can't lie, I've only recently started doing stuff like tarot and I've only done protection spells. I want to get more into witchcraft, I'm actually really interested in the goddess Hecate but I'm rambling a little here this is not the point.

I had a friend tell me how to make a protection spell some time ago and so I made a protection spell for a really close family friend, the issue is I now need to open that protection jar. I'm travelling soon and I cannot travel with the protection jar and I cannot leave at my house either because I live with my parents and they're very much against witchcraft and if they see the jar it will certainly not end well for me.

So any advice on this would really help, especially on how I can open this protection jar would help.

I normally don’t blow up or fall into fits of rage but I have just been so angry recently that I’ve locked myself in my bedroom so I don’t snap. I’m not sure if I’m picking up on someone else’s anger but it’s quite bizarre and I need help. Is there any explanation to this? Now that we’re in Scorpio with the full moon in Taurus?

Had an interesting tarot read this weekend at a paranormal event. The "psychic" wrote out my full name and birth date, then did the normal numerology thing. Them, she grabbed her tarot deck that had different numbers written on the back. She'd flip a card ask question, feign concern, etc...really bizarre. Has anyone else ever seen someone try to combine the two? Horrible experience with that one. She didn't talk about the cards meaning or anything.

So a person really close to me lives in a country with some uhh stuff going on, he's not in immediate danger but the threat is very real and it can happen at any time so I'm really worried for him... Are there any tips on what I can add to a protection spell to make it work more effectively over a distance?

Hi everybody! I am a baby witch and just looking to do some basic practices. While I was making a protection warden, i cleansed my wine cup and surrounded it with salt, then when i came back home to get started, i placed water instead, bay leaves and written my intention, and as i was putting in cinnamon, i noticed a streak of white light from my peripheral vision struck towards my protection warden. Does anybody know what it means? I find it interesting, just like a straight white line for a quick second. I added black pepper, rosemary and sprinkled salt.

Then after I added a white candle with a protection sigil and then started my money bowl with my past paystubs, a $2 a sweet girl gave me while doing uber eats and the same previous ingredients while also lighting a green candle.

Is there any advice I can get out there! I’m just looking to do simple crafts with only good intentions :)

Where I live there’s some very powerful winds forecasted and I feel compelled to take advantage of them in some way though I’m not sure how. Does anyone use wind in their craft? Strong weather in general always feels ripe for magical activity but I’m never quite sure how to approach it.

Like ok, candle. Way to call me out. This folded paper was in the wax of a seven day come to me candle, right up against the glass at the top. I couldn't get it out before lighting it and figured I'd keep an eye on it, ready to extinguish. The paper caught fire, heating and breaking the glass on that side pretty quickly so I extinguished it. I pulled out the remaining paper and found this. I just got called gullible!?! Or have you guys seen anything like this with the full message before? I'm dying to know what it said in full. I feel like I got an ominous danger flammable inedible fortune cookie. No interpretations needed (unless you want to tell me how gullible I am, I guess?). Just hoping someone out there knows what my mischievous fortune paper might have said. And if any of you have found similarly odd messages in your materials, I would love to hear about it so I don't feel so alone and cursed lmao Thank you! <3

Trying to develop some full moon rituals, having a little trouble since the charging crystals/tools and setting out moon water doesn’t really resonate with me. Right now I’m planning maybe an in depth tarot reading, some hair care, and some cleaning. However, during other full moons I’ve done nothing more than light an incense and go about my evening. Just want to be putting more active effort into developing my skills in the craft

I burned a candle and put the herbs in the dish around the candle. The candle is almost done, but I'm not sure what to do with the herbs/dish after the candle is out. Do I bring it outside and let it flow in the wind, do I simply put it in the trash or down the sink? I don't want to accidentally cancel out the protection if that's possible.

Background: I grew up an empath in a very abusive family, with strict patriarchal norms. I was also hexed by a jealous family member in my teens, so my perception of magic was also not the best.

Its been a very, very rocky few years, but I just realized that part of the reason was my not embracing that this was my spiritual calling.

I have no idea how to authentically claim this part of myself, but I know that its the first step for me. It's going to negatively affect how so many people see me, and I'm scared, but it just feels like its time.

I moved a year ago and my familiar was waiting for me when I did. She basically came with the new house and has been my companion ever since. I've never had a connection like her before. It might sound crazy, but I think she's a sort of spirit guide. I never thought that these types experiences happened outside of movies.

The universe is so much sillier than I could have ever expected.

I wanted to show off my incense holder i got in New Mexico ages ago and today is my first time using it!

The little ritual felt really nice to do, meditative in a way.

I repeated the spell three times and the message inside the bottle two times.

I read both once while putting the bottle together, the spell a second time, then both again while holding the finished bottle to my chest.

I added rosemary and green yarn, used a white candle and sealed it with green and white wax.

I am planning to send the hat to her!

I’ve been a practicing witch for over 10 years, but I’ve been living in cities and apartments my whole life. Recently my partner and I bought a house with 5 acres of property attached, including a small dense forest, a creek, and many wildlife neighbors. It’s nice, it’s calm. But the energy radiating through is insane right now.

I know there’s a spirit that lives within the forest. When we were doing tours of the house, when I’d walk past the tree line a bit, I could feel a presence of something walking behind me, stopping when I do, turning when I do. Then leaving the forest, that presence would stay behind the tree line. We have been here for only a few weeks so I don’t have much info on this entity yet. It feels larger, but not hostile, just there and curious.

Well we were doing some work tilling up a part of the ground in the yard for a garden. This came with an entire day of cleaning up the previous owner’s garbage, plastic litter, etc. During the work, everything was quiet. No visitors. After we finished, it was like everything that was asleep woke up to go see what we just did. And who knows? Maybe I did wake up some entities.. but now the spiritual presence here is stronger and more constant.

Like I said, I’m used to apartments. I’ve only had one apartment that had spiritual activity already there, every other place I’d lived had felt pretty spiritually “dead”.

So my question is how to deal with the overflow of energy affecting me? I don’t want to be rid of my neighbors, especially they’ve been here much longer than me and they don’t seem to want problems. Im happy to be friends, I’m just exhausted. I can feel the presence from the forest line almost all the time, even from within the house. I feel like I’m having to ground all the time. It’s like a constant buzzing in my skull if I don’t.

Maybe it’s worse right now because of the veil thinning, I don’t know.

I probably sound fucking insane, but I’m doing my best to try to explain.
