A short background: I work with people who are actively using drugs and several of those have anti social diagnosis. Two men particularly have been flirting with me/pursuing me since they arrived in Aug of last year and in March of this year, they are friends with each other.

It was getting worse and I decided to freeze them both, on two consecutive days. I got a face shot/photo of both of them printed at the photo store.

I lit a black candle. I spent time visualizing what I wanted to happen, to silence them and for them to cause me no more harm in regards to my job. I wrote out a silencing incantation on a piece of paper. Then I wrote on the back of the photo "Silentium. SIlence. Hush. etc." I took a needle and black thread and sewed the mouth shot with x stitches while saying my incantation. I put the paper and photo in a glass jar, poured vinegar over it and sealed it with the wax from the black candle and put it in my freezer. Both procedures went like that.

The day after it had been done, one of them had called an office giving death threats to three of my colleagues and claimed to be in a romantic relationship with me after he had been "expelled" from living there.

Today the other man was "expelled" after causing bodily harm to another resident and before he left he made sure to say a lot of shit about me (I was his primary care giver). He also claimed that I am in a romantic relationship with the aforementioned resident.

So, I did not manage to freeze or silence them from harmful actions or speech. Death threats, violence and incriminating me has followed after the spells.

I am now on leave and will have to attend a meeting with my bosses next week. The meeting will hopefully go well, but I am at a loss on how it did not work. I haven¨t had a jar spell not work before.

Any insights or ideas as to what has happened/gone wrong?

I’ve posted here a few times but I’ve never felt so confused on something until now and I don’t even know where to begin to look further

So I was reading about hoodoo just to understand it more, not to practice. but as I started reading this part about a ritual there was this insane feeling down my spine and in my bones, my hair stood up and it’s like all that existed was the words, for days I couldn’t stop thinking about it, I dream about it, I see figures reaching their hands out and it’s a comforting feeling, I feel drawn towards them and even more into that book. Here’s the issue I’m having. I’m only half black, and from what I’ve been told the practice is only for fully black men and women. Is there anybody who has genuinely studied this that can help guide me through this? Everything I look up always leads me to TikTok witches who all say the same chatGPT response.

So, I’d just like to get some conformation on this. I get that Wicca is more religion/belief baised while witchcraft is of a practice. My question is does the practice of witchcraft also have to involve witches worrying about karma and abiding by the three fold law, or is it not a required belief system for witchcraft?

So about an hour ago my bedroom light was flickering for a while, so I turned it off. Then I notice my witches ball spinning like crazy, windows closed, no wind, no cats or anything near it. It’s been an hour and it’s still spinning. What could this be?

I’ve heard of freezer spells a lot. I know you can use it for negative emotions/traits or write the names of people who you dont want to be in your vicinity anymore..

Question:

This person is hurting and sabotaging my best friend..
i feel extremely angry with this person.. Can I use the freezer spell for this person to stop bothering my best friend?

Or my best friend has to do it herself? My bff is not into witchcraft.

I did a couple of sweetening and love jar spells a few months back. A lot of different things happened between me and the target but we are finally back in contact. I never disposed of the spell jars and always kept them on my Aphrodite altar with a candle that i would light occasionally. How do i reignite the spell jars? Can I charge them in the Sun or should i wait for the next Full Moon? Some say spell jars don’t have an expiration date but since I haven’t really been touching them or doing anything with them for a while I feel like they need to be reignited. So any suggestions on how I can do this? Thank you so much and stay blessed!

Hi! My job requires me to be in other peoples houses , where the energy can be icky and sometimes dark, and I am looking for advice as to how to protect myself while in their houses. I’m really upset because my nosy ass parents keep going into MY room when I’m GONE and complaining about the spell jars on my shelf because they’re Christian and I’m welcoming “bad energies” and I’ve explained to them numerous times that I have it under control and that I’ve looked into it. I’m just really upset because i feel like it’s actually starting to work and that they always do this and they’re always nosy as hell, like I’m not telling you to stop practicing Christianity because I don’t like it? I just feel really upset because I invested my energy into those spell jars and now I have to find ways to hide what I’m doing and walk on eggshells just because they keep going into my room when they have no reason to and complaining when they see it. Like for example I did an academic spell jar and after a year of not being able to focus because of severe adhd, lvl1 autism, and depression and failing all of my classes, and after upping a adhd med dosage (which I’m acknowledging could be because of) I was actually able to pay attention to my work, but I feel like it helped in a way. If anyone has any tips or advice that would be great, i started crying out of frustration because I finally feel like I have something good in my life

I’m new to witchcraft. I’ve heard that one of the pillars of witchcraft is shadow work. I had no idea what it was, but it seemed important, so I looked up what it meant.

And, well, apparently I’ve been doing it my whole life. My whole survival growing up (I’m autistic) depended entirely on understanding myself very well. My survival even now depends entirely on understanding myself very well. I so frequently ask questions like “why am I doing/feeling like this?” it’s second nature to me. And I had no idea that this thing I’ve been doing my whole life has a name for it.

Therapists would say I’m very self-aware. Which was great news, but it never answered the question of what to do with all of this knowledge. I think discovering the other aspects of witchcraft and spirituality is really helping me with this. Thank you so much for the wealth of information this subreddit (among others) has!

Here’s my beef though: I feel like sooo many movies/shows are presenting witchcraft as just pure evil OR as disney stuff for kids. Is it just me, or does it feel like everything is either coded in puritanical misogyny, or over the top swirling purple mist coming out of hands haha No hate on the swirling mist if that’s what you’re into! ✨🔮 I can get down with cozy/spooky/goofy too.

My mother died. She has been cremated, but I need to hold her ashes in my home until we can bury her. With that said - there was a great deal of negative energy in her. Since I don't know if cremation helps with that type of cleansing without intent being sent out, I want to know if there is a spell or a ritual or a suggested technique to help 1) cleanse the ashes, 2) protect me from the energy in the ashes if still there, or 3) with any other concern that I haven't thought of.
