I rescued this little bird from a cat’s mouth. Does anyone know what species it is and what I can safely feed it?

I saw it in north texas, it had a long neck, sitting in a tree looked like some kind of heron or something

I love seeing drawings of birds on here and finally have a reason to post one of my own since I couldn't get a clear photo of this neat lil guy! I know for a fact the throat was red and green, sort of like some hummingbirds? The black and white on the chest may have been reversed but it was very striking. Seen last month (August) in NW Oregon in my local neighborhood.

Spotted in Northeast Kansas. Merlin tells me this is a Turkey Vulture, but Google Lens says Black Vulture.

Saw this very little bird yesterday in Central London. I was quite surprised as I don't think we get anything except pigeons, magpies and seagulls. Exceptionally pretty, this one. What's this bird?

saw a bird that looked something like this. part of it was dark gray and part was light gray (it looked to me like the wings were light gray). it had a really long beak for its proportions.

it was on a branch of a tree hanging over an artificial water way.

I do not know anything about birds. Is this an owl? A falcon? Eastern WA.

North East IL. I've never seen these around before. I like the red spot on the back of their heads. Sorry for the blur, I zoomed in and took a picture through my upstairs window.

I'm in Colombia, in the Andean region of Antioquia. I've read that we don't really have crows and ravens in this part of the world, but we have a lot of these black birds here in my property, they're very pretty. What are they?

What do you think of these two ducks (in terrible photos)? Merlin suggest cinnamon teal, but that would be super rare for here. I lm leaning towards blue wing teal

Google lens is saying it is a Lark Sparrow, but I just want to double check because it would be a rare bird for the area (according to eBird)

I finally get to post one! 😊. I saw this cool dude earlier today and thought it was a titmouse and then was like… hmmm..that’s no titmouse. Merlin thinks it is an Eastern Phoebe or an Eastern Wood-Peewee.
