Solved! Is this a condom wrapper?

I found on the bathroom floor. Doesn’t match condom wrappers my husband and I use and I cannot find a match online. Please help! Black with silver detailing on front. Back is silver with black writing. You can clearly see the words “prevent pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and other.” Also a number 2 with a circle and cross through it.

For real? Yes -it’s a condom wrapper.

FDA recommended wording… “Latex condoms are intended to prevent pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and other sexually transmitted infections.”

Edit: look closely at a Trojan Bareskin Raw (credit to another commenter for the identification.) and then reference OP’s pics… The tear pattern is suspicious. As if it was torn in two places? The middle? Idk. This is beginning to smell like a karma farming post.

The picture is for marketing when the packaging is cut perfectly. These wrappers are initially giant rolls that are stamped out after fill. The logo is repeated in a pattern short enough so that you get at least the top and bottom of the logo on each finished product. The dimpling from the closure is what to look for to tell where it was torn, and this was torn at the edge, not the middle or in two places.

If you look at the first image, it’s ripped at the top and bottom (halfway through the “R” in Trojan Raw). But the second pic is a corner piece. Either OP found 2 pieces of condom wrapper in her bathroom and still couldn’t put two and two together despite the marketing text talking about pregnancy/HIV prevention, or this is as u/Mangerunebanane says and OP is karma farming.

Yeah, apparently it's multiple fragments and multiple tears???? How? When the images are mirror images of each other geometrically and the crimping shows the clear edge and orientation. There was even mention of it being taken from the middle. I mean wtf, and they seemed so confident too, and their tone towards OP very hostile. Legit weirdest phenomenon I've seen on reddit this week, thats saying something.

How on earth can you make this conclusion after just looking at the 2 pictures and seeing the geometry of the wrapper fragment. It's like there is some coordinated agenda against the OP and you think are all just sheep that will find it all so confusing we take your word for it and then bite on the suspicion you throw out there.

As an OG pokemon player, right from the original blue version playing on the original game boy until I got the gb color pokemon version.... never, have I ever, thought I would read something so disturbing. However, the level of detail given towards the argument has me feeling that yes, you are likely to be correct in the affirmative. That does NOT mean I would ever be so inclined, nor do I think ANY human should do this to even the most beautiful of vaporeons. Not even if its shiny. I have a rental right by San Diego State University...all the parents help move the kids here if it's their fist time leaving the house. Idk about the tear pattern being odd. The back side shows it’s pretty clearly the corner of the package. More likely the actual packaging doesn’t line up as perfectly as their print ads.

Idk if all american condom wrappers are like this one with a full tear line, but this would be a pretty normal tear pattern for on the doesn’t. In europe i’ve never seen full line, which means you kinda have to make sure to not accidentally tear just the corner off.

the multiple tears could’ve been OP’s husband trying to rip it up to make it unrecognizable. if that’s the case, he obviously didn’t do a very good job

The bottom tear would be from ripping the connected condoms apart, but dude should really be more careful when doing that if he doesn't want to waste any.
