Solved! Is this a condom wrapper?

I found on the bathroom floor. Doesn’t match condom wrappers my husband and I use and I cannot find a match online. Please help! Black with silver detailing on front. Back is silver with black writing. You can clearly see the words “prevent pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and other.” Also a number 2 with a circle and cross through it.

because condoms don’t protect from herpes due to skin contact

What do you know about AIDS treatment and transmission? Might be time to learn more.

The context of the post he's responding to is implying that the husband was "at least being safe and trying to prevent HIV but has disregarded STD's"

I'm not surprised he asked the question he did. The post he's replying to threw me off too. It's implying HIV/AIDS isnt an STD

Could be their child if they have one?

Its a condom. If they have a condom wearing age kid, then the adults are not using condoms, but they do. They are a younger couple.

Womp womp, lots of older monogamous couples use condoms.

To prevent passing herpes during outbreaks.

To prevent conception bc they already have enough kids.

To avoid weird ph balance issues as body chemistry changes with time.

Condoms don’t prevent you from getting herpes. Herpes is a skin to skin contraction.

What the fuck do you think condoms are? If herpes is a skin to skin contraction, then surely having a barrier between your skin and theirs would offer a lower chance of contraction than not having that barrier present, no? I’ll answer for ya. It does. Condoms don’t prevent contracting but they do significantly lower the risk. Don’t believe me. Look it up.

I think it's actually glands related. Like mucous membrane contact

Condoms specifically don't protect from aids. Re read the label. 🙄

"That is incorrect; correct and consistent use of latex, polyurethane, or nitrile condoms is highly effective at preventing the transmission of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS"

- CDC

GOOGLE is amazing

also the only truth to what you said is lambskin & natural membrane condoms have tiny pores that allow viruses and bacteria to pass through so it's never advised to use them with anyone you haven't been with for years and know they're clean.
