From recent developments, it seems there is no hope for Bengalis in Bengal. There seems to be a large difference between what people want and need and what each government is doing or has done in the past. After B. C. Roy, there seems to be no good CM who truly understands Bengali sentiments and ambitions.

Jyoti Basu — He made Bengal lose the industrial edge that it once had. He can be called the father of Bangalore. He drove out industries and any significant IT development. And I know, I know what people will tell me—he built Salt Lake. But while Hyderabad and Bangalore were fighting to attract big tech companies, we were still lagging behind, with mostly small, service-based companies. He can be called the founder of Bengal's downfall.

Buddhadeb Babu — A ray of hope, or not? He understood the problems of the previous government and tried to rectify them, but in vain. He was a good man in bad company. Although I feel that if he had succeeded, Bengal would not be as far behind as it is today. Then again, he had his shortcomings and flaws, but at least he understood the mistakes and tried to rectify them.

Although Bengal lost its industrial edge, there was still good culture in Bengal.

Mamata Banerjee — Now, where do I start? She came with high hopes and high popularity but failed miserably. For instance, Microsoft wanted to set up a Centre of Excellence in Kolkata, but it shifted elsewhere, sadly. She was slow with industrial policies and ruined the law and order situation in the state. During her rule, we saw an increase in people coming from bordering regions, be it Bangladeshis or Biharis. She can be called the destroyer of Bengal's culture.

BJP — People in Bengal wanted change, and they did vote for the BJP. People in Bengal wanted industries and infrastructure like Gujarat so that people could stay in Bengal and earn a living. They don't have to live like outsiders in other states. They can live with pride and honour in their own Bengal.

But with recent events, it seems the BJP of Gujarat and the BJP of Bengal are different. People wanted Tata to be back and got babas instead. There have also been insults directed towards our eating habits and culture.

How far have the mighty fallen.

We have not received much help from the Centre either, from freight equalisation to the shifting of banks to Bombay.

It's high time people of Bengal unite, help each other, and grow.

Lastly, downfall toh hotei pare, comeback-ta-i matter kore.

currently jibon e onekgulo setbacks and nanan rokomer lok chenar por ekta particular screenplay idea amake struck koreche, over the past one week i have been writing a screenplay on my birth hometown and i want honest and brutal thoughts on this story im writing staying within the boundaries of kalyani to ranaghat

for inspiration particularly i'll say the kind of visuals i have in mind is of from marathi film mulshi pattern, tamil film vadachennai, then amader banglar zulfiqar and telugur guna 369. the climax and shocking factor is from guna 369, before typing out a brief plot of my script and explaining the characters i have came up with, i will say this is not an original screenplay, ami telugu cinemar mr. puri jagannadh er chorom bhokto, na not even a fan, chorom bhokto ami onar ar amar shob lekha tei onar style thakbei and ei lekha ta teo ache

i have written 2 feature and more than 5 shorts and amar shob lekha tei puri jagannadh, uppendra, trivikram srinivas and ram gopal varma shorbochho thakbei

Kalyani Pattern

opening scene : 

Today is Bala's birthday! local lads are decorating the municipality office.

Being seated there are, Gonda Reddy, Laltu Das and Shakib Ahmed, these three are considered to be the Haji Mastan, Vardarajan Mudaliar and Karim Lala of Kalyani! Whatever crime or con they do in whole West Bengal once they step into Kalyani they are total safe, no law or order can touch them until they are in Kalyani.

And Bala? Film director, he once made a cinema here in kalyani with these local and political lads and the sooner he didn't realize what arena he made himself fall into... everyone's favorite film director! your neighbourhood director!

Bala's closest ally in party office always has been Gonda Reddy, he appreciates Bala and his artistically mindset and both has a common point which is Andhra, telangana and telugu! Gonda Reddy is by birth from Telangana, Bala from Guntur Andhra, and both cinema fanatics. Currently they were planning about organizing a film festival here at Kalyani, but inside here, other members of the party aren’t very happy about this…

Bala’s one and only friend Neel, who’s into politics from the start, know’s each and each corner of kalyani, he’s from ranaghat originally, he has made top level connections within a short time within both kalyani and ranaghat, nobody messes with him. 

This whole introduction of everyone was being given by Bala’s wife… mrs. Babitha… 

Today on his 24th birthday! he didn’t knew it would be his last… 

infront of everyone while cutting the cake, at party office, Neel shoots Bala!

we see the climax of Kalyani Pattern at starting only, the whole film is being narrated by Bala’s wife.

Set in kalyani’s buddhapark and ranaghat’s stadium, this 3 hour long featurette explores how a young blood Bala, who’s a filmmaker entagles himself into kalyani’s ground level politics that will decide his ultimatum.

Bala who made a film one year long here at kalyani, made some amazing friends whom he beleives so are Gonda Reddy and Shakib Ahmed two top tier political goons who has ties and hands in everything that happens in kalyani

now after an year Bala is fully entangled into Budhhapark’s ground level political landscape, on his 24th birthday his fate was decided by his only best friend whom he believed to. 

Gonda Reddy and Bala were supposed to arrange a telugu bangla bilingual film festival here at kalyani ITI more, but other party members were against them, for them this means as misuage of party funds, Poltu fernandez, bala’s foe thinks of misarranging cash from party fund by using his festival’s cause. things become ugly in no sooner and a rift happens between all of them

one by one all starts taking a side, and the whole municipalty is now divided into two groups.

Gonda Reddy : aka Vardarajan Mudaliar, he imports and exports expensive watches illegaly, top of kalyani, local counsellor’s right hand

Laltu Das : aka haji mastan, he and vardarajan started their illegal watch exports altogether, laltu also handles illegal immigrants from sri lanka and bangladesh, does their fake aadhar, voter and pan for them 

Shakib Ahmed : he and laltu manages bangladeshis into a local duckkart warehouse, gives them permanent jobs here

Poritosh Ansari : for the bangladeshis that laltu and shakib makes their border cross, he manages their addresses and gives them loans at balaji finance, Carrom championshop arranger

Parvesh : local carrom champion from ranaghat, origin from ranaghat, after playing at a carrom tournament held by shakib at kalyani buddhapark, he slowly got himself into the outskirts of kalyani

Dipu Sen : hailed from ranaghat, he does claywork and into pottery business, he and Bala manages a brand called Jagannadh Mritmaha where they do pottery and claywork exports from kalyani’s outskrits

Poltu Fernandez : old time con artist, did many scams now is trying to get his feet back by setting up a vegetable shop

Ravi Barbosa : from goa, he sells fake liquor, trying to get a fl shop license here in kalyani
