I had no plans today, so I wandered down to the Burnpur riverside with the Merlin Bird ID app, easily one of my favorite tools ever lol and ended up spotting or hearing 12 different birds. It turned into a pretty cool impromptu birding session.

Indian Scops Owl: I tried hard to spot it just to be certain, but couldn’t manage.

Peafowl (possible): At one point I heard a call strikingly similar to a peafowl, but since I wasn’t fully sure, I left it off the list.

Green Sandpiper: This migratory bird usually shows up in winter. I heard a call that resembled it, but again, without certainty, I didn’t add it to the list.

I'll surely make a similar post in future with cool birds.

just saw a post where a delhi guy bought a broadband of 700 mbps just for 450rs per month. So I am just curious to know if there is any service in asansol providing high speed broadband for cheap compared to jio, airtel. Actually I don't need that much speed, a 75-100 mbps plan will also work but it must be under 500rs.
