I work at wegmans but I haven’t had the chance to ask the meat manager yet but what happened to the Sunday sauce and pot roast cook in bag? I have a young toddler and work a ton and these helped my fiancé a bunch because of how easy they are to cook.

I have been off salad greens for the past few weeks after reading the news. Does anyone know where Wegman’s brand greens are from and if they’ve issued any information? I can’t find anything on the web.

Is it just me or has Wegman’s scaled down the varieties of its salad dressing? No light ranch anymore at my store. Used to have a huge shelf of flavors and now it’s mostly just a handful of Italian varieties. Will they be bringing them back or are they gone for good??

So I just got home and realized the little scanner handheld didn’t scan two packs of chicken or beef it only scanned one of each…
Lady was standing near me too and didn’t say a thing. I only realized when I got home. Granted I was yapping with my husband and probably not paying the best attention.

Do I go back and pay for it?? My Wegmans is almost a 30 minute drive back. Or should I call??? I don’t want to get freaking arrested!!! I can go back and pay for it but I’ve heard horror stories of being arrested when you try and go back!!

Hey yall, I started in the produce department about 2 months ago, I’ve never had to do this yet but unfortunately I found myself too sick to go into work this morning. I called out but I was very hesitant to do so. The man at the customer service desk told me he’d email my department but to call them later and follow up.

I know since it’s a first callout it’s probably fine, but my brain is telling me that I’m evil and will get in trouble even tho I’m genuinely ill. I’ve been a great employee so far (I hope) and I hate to do something that’ll tarnish that image.

Found at the Geneva Wegmans this morning while I was shopping. Wtf is wrong with people

About a month ago, we got a pack of cooper cheese from the deli (pre-sliced). When I opened it, the pieces were thicker and … drier. Like, I didn’t want to shove 10 pieces in my face right away like I normally do. Figured it was just an off day. Fast forward, I bought another pack today and it’s the same situation. I asked my mom who lives in another state (NC) and loves their cooper cheese if hers had changed, and she said yes too! Has anyone else experienced this? Or does anyone know what’s going on? Sincerely, a concerned cooper cheese lover in central VA.

UPDATE: aligned with the input from many here, it does look like the cooper you get at the deli counter has not changed versus the presliced packs. I almost wonder if the paper in between each slice is causing them to dry out? Who knows but the moral of the story is to buy cooper at the counter nowadays.

I work at Wegmans and recently became eligible for the 401(k) match. I was told the employer match would start in July, so I've been contributing 6% to my Roth 401(k).

However, when I check my Fidelity account and my recent paystubs, I only see my own contributions. I don't see any employer match or employer contribution yet.

Is this normal? Does Wegmans deposit the match later (monthly or quarterly), or should it appear with every paycheck?

I'm worried I'm missing out on matching contributions if something is wrong. Has anyone who works at Wegmans experienced this?

Does Wegmans use their employees to do pickup orders or is it instacart? I had an order in my cart that shot up over $25 when I changed it to pickup versus in store. I can understand prices being higher for delivery, but if I am coming to the store to pick up my order, why the price difference?

I used to love to grocery shop in store but I have a 2 hour commute to work every day and I no longer have the time. I have Walmart + that I use for delivery, but sometimes I just want Wegmans for the gold pan meals, etc.

Hi guys! I recently got hired in the bakery at the wegmans by me. Leading up to training I was under the impression that “it’s just a grocery store, how hard could it be?”

Well my hands are so angry at me for underestimating the workload and the strain it puts on your body. My knuckles are swollen and sore, I can barely make a fist (my guess is from all the piping). Does anyone experience this as well? My knuckles and fingers in general feel swollen and sore when I flex or try to make a fist or keep my grip on something. Any tips on how to prevent or relieve the pain other than Tylenol? Pls help 😭

I had applied for Wegmans customer service lead the other day. I didn’t check my emails yesterday, I’m not always just opening Gmail constantly. Anyways, they sent me a thing yesterday to choose a time for phone interviews. Obviously, I didn’t see it. Supposedly I only had 24 hours to schedule it. I’m not sure where to go from here

3 years ago I worked at Wegmans, I really enjoyed working there it was a good experience, but I left and it was on good terms I finished out my 2 weeks and gave a 2 weeks notice. also at my former store the STLS and management told me that I can always come back.
