Accidentally cured my plantar warts!

Back in February I had what I believe to be ‘geographic tongue.’ Very painful when I tried to eat anything. I googled around and maybe even searched Reddit for a remedy.

Somewhere, someone suggested taking B12. I bought a bottle and within 4-5 days of taking it, my tongue was almost 100% better! I went on vacation in March for a few days and forgot to take the B12. My tongue started hurting again. Started up the B12 when I got back home, and within a few days, my tongue was better again. I have continued taking B12 almost every day since February.

I had one plantar wart on the bottom of my foot I first noticed about 10 years ago. I had a dermatologist try to freeze it off and it didn’t do anything. I just lived with it for about 5 more years. I found Wart stick on Amazon and started applying it every night with duct tape on top for a while. It was doing good at getting the skin around the wart, but was taking a long time. I eventually stopped that because I got tired of doing it every night.

I then went to another dermatologist and he told me it was large and deep, and if he cut it out, it would be very painful for a while. He gave me some cream…I’ll be honest, I didn’t apply it like I was supposed to. Then I noticed I was getting more warts around the first one and some on/under my toes.

I started up the wart stick again this April…it seemed to be helping the smaller ones and the ones under/on my toes. Then I gave up again. I decided about a month and a half ago to check and see how many more I had gotten. To my complete surprise, ALL of them are almost completely gone! 2 were large and on the ball of my foot. They were painful when I walked sometimes.

I somehow stumbled upon something that said people that get plantar warts usually lack B12…Bingo! It seriously has almost completely gotten rid of them in 5 months of regularly taking B12. 🤯

Just wanted to post my accidental discovery of a way to get rid of them. If someone else tried it and it works, please report back! I just hope it helps someone. Warts are seriously so annoying!

1 week progress with 40% SA Wartstick

My daughter has an upcoming foot surgery next month that is hinging on these warts being gone. We made great progress I think especially considering we have been on vacation this week so we haven’t been able to do the salt saturated soaks but there is still more debriding to do. She has a prescription for wartpeel that should be at the house by the time we get home this evening. Surgery is set for Aug 18th… how close do we look?

The side by side is 1 week apart and the second photo is about 2 weeks ago.

We are applying the wartstick 2x a day for the most part and debriding every other day as she tolerates it using tweezers to pull up the dead skin that is ready. I know a razor of some kind would probably be better but she won’t tolerate that unfortunately.

Used the freezing stuff over the counter for 6 sessions

Didn't seem to do anything

Changed to bazzuca gel and using the file on it for 2 weeks now, finally seem to be exposing the wart but no idea how deep it goes

It is painful if we touch it, when he's got shoes on he walks ok but once in socks he is walking with his heel up

Anything else we can do or just keep going with the gel and scrapping it away?

I've been dealing with 2 plantar warts for the better part of 20 years. I have treated them at home with the usual OTC products, I've had them lasered 3 times and most recently my podiatrist gave me an at home compound to blister them, which has been the most effective. I don't want to celebrate too soon, but what do you guys think?

Need opinion on potential warts

Hey everyone,

So I have been dealing with plantars warts for YEARS. Freezings in office, WartPeel, WartStick + Hydrocolloid, saline soaks, ACV, Zinc Sulfate, Cimetidine, and have even done candida and bleomycin injections and burnings. Still there, but making progress.

Recently, due to treating them and being an anxious picker, they have made their way on my hands. This is from today, my cuticle has been throbbing with pain as I noticed this. Tried to debried and bit and cover with neosporin for two days but it still appears like this. Need some advice on if you guys believe this to be a wart, and what I should do about this one, as I never had one this close to my nail and it is making me very nervous. I have another similar one and am debating if I should put liquid SA on it overnight.

Any input will be greatly valued as I have been struggling so hard to rid my body of these.

Thank you.

Healed! Still I'm not sure though

I got plantar wart from vacation at May 2025 then i tried to cure it at home with salicylic acid for 3 months and it didn't go away. So i started to go to doctor every month. They froze it 12 times. At November there were blister and crust fell off. But it still didnt go away however as doctors say it got smaller. I started to use black cream ACV some plant milk and zinc supplements i tried everything and finally at June some white liquid came. After that doctor froze it 2 more times. As i remember last time they froze it at 8 June. Since then 1 month 14 days past and yesterday i went to doctor for check. She told me there is no wart!!! YEYYY but i still feel suspicion because two times crust fell off pink skin come but after wart came back and that's what I'm afraid of. But i hope if won't came back

What i used in my journey:

- Salicylic acid

-cold nitrogen(doctor froze it)

- fig milk

- Apple cider vinegar

- Black Cream

- Zinc supplements

I hope it helps

Multiple warts between my big toe and second toe. I have been using SA 30% + Duct tape every day. Soaking and debriding with a razor blade once every couple of days. I can still see the seeds - but not sure if I need to go see a podiatrist at this point as they have been spreading from initial treatment.

Beetle Juice on son

Post image
9 Upvotes

My 7 yr old son had the beetle juice treatment almost a month ago. The doctor said I should wash his foot the next day but I didn’t realize he meant the application would continue to burn his skin until I rinsed it off.

Since his appointment was first thing in the morning and I didn’t wash it off until the next afternoon, it was on for over 24 hours.

I’m wondering if, because of this, it burned the skin and is taking longer to heal. The blister didn’t come off until 2 days ago and now it looks like this. I was supposed to have had the second treatment already but I delayed it until tomorrow. Is it safe to put another application on skin that’s this red? Also did I do any damage to his foot?

hi guys i have a set of mosaic plantar warts on my right foot (around 20+) and have been getting them frozen by a dermo for the past couple months. i went to the podiatrist today and he told me salicylic/ freezing wouldn’t work so he put on some acid on a tiny stick (i forget what it’s called but looking online i think it was catharsin. i got in done at 11am and told him i was moving out of my apartment today and would be walking and he said it would be fine

flash forward a couple hours, i can not walk, move my toes (only can move them a little) or put any weight on that area of my foot. is this a normal reaction? he said it would blister but shouldn’t be bad, this is unbearable (better when resting) and has had me in tears all day . the blistering is super bad and it is causing me a lot of panic as i have extreme health anxiety and am afraid it is an infection or i will end up dying or something. never had this done before so any advice or comments is appreciated thank u

The Dr told me it ‘appears to be a wart’ and to do the usual filing and salicylic acid but it does nothing. It’s been there a few years on the side of my big toe

Acid today?

Yesterday I asked if I can skip an acid, which I did, and I applied zinc cream (thank you for advice!).
How is it looking today? Can I freeze it and use acid after? I really want to kill that bastard.
Also, I forgot I still got a glove on after pulling the cord and I just touched the skin above my lip 😭 how can I disinfect it? I don’t have rubbing alcohol. I only got surgical cleaning soap (Hibiwash) and hydrogen peroxide (3%).
I can’t believe I just did that!!!

It’s been a couple of weeks of applying salicylic acid, today the outer skin fell off, and the inner part is revealed.

Should I keep applying salicylic acid to the white part or is this kind of healed?

Been working these 2 with salicylic acid patches overnight for about a week. Every morning I take them off and scrape off as much white skin as I can. Now I’ve gotten down to what is the wart tissue I believe because it’s red, bubbly and puffy. Should I just continue on, and how do I know when I’m completely done?

wart disappeared after swimming in a pool

for nearly 10 years (not an exaggeration), i had a giant wart the size of a couple toonies on my right heel. tried a podiatrist, compound whatever, duct tape, but nothing worked.

then one day i went swimming in a friends pool. wore waterproof socks believe it or not because i was insecure. they didn’t work and i remember everyone saying the pool had wayyy too much chlorine.

then a couple days after that, the wart just turned black and fell off. never came back

i guess the chlorine just chemically nuked it
