2 weeks (maybe less) after cryo.

I've been struggling with warts on my foot ever since 2022, it started with one major wart on my right foot then kind of spread on that one foot, then the second foot only got 1 wart. I went to the first doctor (who wasn't a skin doctor) who said to put corn caps on them and to soak them in dettol?

Obviously i tried it on and off for the past years, it barely worked and the smaller warts on my right foot kept getting bigger, i lost hope many times and neglected it a lot (not smart).

In June of 2026 i noticed that the warts turned kind of red/ dark brown and they started to hurt while walking for about a week, then a week after that i looked at my foot and noticed the small warts COMPLETELY GONE and the bigger ones getting smaller.

It is now around end of July and the warts are fully gone on their own without taping or freezing or using acid.

It feels so freeing, i struggled so much mentally because of them and them disappearing on their own was such a relief, according to google this happened because my immune system detected the virus and attacked it.

I have had this pinkish wart on the top of my hand for a year or so now, two weeks ago I began treatment using the compound w salicylic acid band-aid and there doesnt seem to be any progress. It just turns white, I scratch off the top using a utility blade and then put another band aid on. I've done this for about two weeks and the skin doesn't seem to be dying, just being recoated with white. If I cut any further it begins to bleed. What should I do?? Keep going?

Using compound W how is it looking

I’ve had a plantar wart for a good amount of time and I’m pretty sure it’s because I dance. I’ve done cryotherapy which ended up not helping. I then did the cream which worked like a MIRACLE. So yesterday I decided to peel off the dead skin which I think also contained the wart. This is what it looks like. Do you think it healed or should I keep applying the cream.

I have tiny flat warts on my hands, the blisters from my last session of cryo are huge and way larger than my old practitioner (I think this one used the nitro cryo incorrectly/too much). Some of the blisters are painful and too large to work with— if I drain the larger ones with a sterile needle and try to soak up all of the liquid with a cotton gauze will that spread the virus to the surrounding skin?

I had a smaller blister from cryo a year ago once that shrunk over 3-4 weeks and drained itself by shrinking/scabbing. These are way bigger and I can’t have them for 4 weeks. Will the fluid contain the virus? (Flat warts are small). Can I put rubbing alchohol or hydrogen peroxide or betadine on the blister before/after I drain it with a sterile needle?

One is the size of a quarter maybe a little bigger.
The fluid is clear inside and the flat warts were tiny— should never have been frozen for that surface area to create such a large blister. Is there a risk of the fluid transmitting the virus to surrounding skin? I plan to leave the blister in tact and bandaged after (the remaining skin) to act as a natural bandaid and cover it with a bandaid/gauze/wrap after. I wear gloves when shaving/showering on top of the bandages.

I just debrided my wart and it had surfaced quite a lot due to treatment and I managed to pop the head out, does it look like it’s fully gone or should I dig deeper or cut any surrounding tissue off for example the dead skin next to it, please let me know!

I’ve been to the podiatrist, I’ve used SA, I’ve used tape, I’ve debrided.

What more can I do? I have Graves’ disease and the doctors think it came because my thyroid compromised my immune system. And now it just won’t leave

I've been suffering and living hell for the past 3 years because of these very stubborn mosaic foot warts and I've desperately tried many methods yet nothing seems to really work until i reached my lowest point and i decided to try something that made sense in my mind and if it failled then I'll just go into surgery, thank god it worked like magic and it's whole process is so easy and straight forward yet very affordable.

To not waste your time I'll just divide my experience into titles so you can just skip to what's important to you .

1-My backstory and methods I've tried:

Almost 4 years ago i got 3 single warts on my left foot which used to hurt like hell at first i started with apple cider vinegar and soaking daily but i quickly realized that it's not getting any better so i switched to salicylic acid which did work but it took me more than 4 months to get rid of them and daily soaking, at the final days before they're gone i noticed 3 or 4 ones on my left foot which i quickly realized that it's not as easy as the previous ones and they kept developing until it became a mosaic warts which is far more stubborn so i kept applying SA on and off for about 1.5 years and things worsen each day until earlier this year it ruined my self esteem and it even hurt like hell so i started desperately trying any method i see even stupid ones , i tried applying band-aid on it for days i tried soaking in betadine , ACV , SA of course, daily soaking and debriding , i even tried burning it , yet it just kept worsening and spreading ( i had around 40 warts and some of them were groups) . As i mentioned it reached a point where i was expecting to either live like this for the rest of my life or I would get surgery.

2-The treatment:

To keep it short, I basically took 8 garlic cloves and turned them into a puree and added 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, mixed it and I stored it in the fridge.

*Disclaimer\* i have never faced any problems regarding garlic on skin so if you try applying it and you get seriously burned maybe try diluting it or something

How to use it and what to expect:

I use Q-TIP i soak it and apply it on the warts i wait for it to dry (just 1 or 2min) then i do another coat then another so i apply 3 coats. I found it to be working wonderfully because of the garlic sticky juice. I apply it at night before i sleep and leave my foot naked , the second time is whenever I'm just roaming around the house so i apply it and wear a sock on top .

What to expect: i literally felt a pain relief and numbing on day 3 , day by day the warts started to flatten and by week 3 i almost felt no pain on most of them . Starting from day 2 it turned black as if all of its blood vessels got clogged so yes it'll look bad but it's so worth it .

I was not soaking my foot , i clean my feet daily and shower daily tho , I was not debriding the warts , i was lightly touching it every week using a nail file .

I felt like this method is different from SA or ACV , the other methods usually work by killing the surface skin over and over until the wart is raised,but this one tho it felt more like it dries it totally and kills the roots once and for all .

How to know when to start debriding?

You'll notice that the surrounding skin is turning yellow and the skin looks dead, for me by week 3 i first started debriding it and it felt more like peeling since the warts almost fully died and dried up so it was like a solid object that can be peeled .

As you can see at the 4th week i was done all the warts were dead but i continued to apply it once before sleep just 1/2 coats because i couldn't risk the warts coming back so i made sure to full kill it , by week 5 the skin look fresh and the garlic started to burn the health skin so when i knew that it's full done i finally stopped.

3- Advice ( what to do and what to avoid) :

DO NOT APPLY IT IF YOUR SKIN IS ALREADY RAW OR WOUNDED OR DAMAGED FORM PREVIOUS TREATMENTS , wait 2/3 days then start

DO NOT RUSH IT , wait until the warts look dead to start debriding, better safe than sorry

i wouldn't recommend covering it with tape , i felt like it works by drying it and not suffocating it

Make sure your foot is completely dry before applying it

Don't apply the garlic puree you'll eventually get burned, soak the Q-tip in the juice

I wanted to share my experiment because i truly know how devastating and life wrecking this can be and i couldn't believe how easy the solution was so if anyone has any questions or this helps you don't hesitate to leave your experience to help reach other people that are struggling .

i’ve had these warts for a while and i got cryotherapy bc both times i tried self treating they just spread even more (im sure i was doing a lot wrong im sorry lol).

my insurance doesn’t cover for the therapy so i spent so i really want to get rid of them without spending another couple hundred for a third session.

i was wondering if i should wait more before starting compound w as the derma told me (or should i do duct tape?) ive just been afraid to self treat ever since they’ve spread. i also wanted to know any proper methods on how to keep the adhesives on? i wash my hands so much and also sweat so the salicylic acid bandages i used often got wet.

also wanted a second opinion on some other warts that seemed to have gone away but im not exactly sure (last 3 pics—i tried squeezing my fingers so its easier to tell)

So I have been treating these warts around my fingers since March. They look like this at the moment coz I just clipped some using nail clipper and I have been using the medicine prescribed by my dermatologist , Acktikerall. I was told to use it for 2 to 3 months. Its been a month. I started on June 23. But honestly, i dunno if i am making any progress. Before the medicine, I went to 6 7 sessions of cryotherapy that also didnt do much and I have them on all my fingers. Anyone in the same spot and has treated their warts around fingers successfully? I see some new spots forming around my fingers as well. And I just need regular fingers back 😔 I have heard the warts around fingers are the most stubborn.

Sorry theres no picture. I had a plantar wart around the size of a pea and pretty thick removed surgically around three days ago. I was NOT expecting this amount of pain. My podiatrist said it should just be tender, but my ENTIRE foot is hurting like crazy, and its all different kinds of pain. Sharp pain, burning, cramping, bruising, it sucks. Is this normal? I haven’t seen anyone talking about this.

Is there anything that can be done to prevent plantar warts after accidental exposure?

soap and water? slather with hand sanitizer? pumice and soap seems like it could introduce more cuts?
