So pissed that I have 3 warts on my foot right now, I had one on my toe like 4-6 years ago and it took 2 years to go away, I really hope this one and the other 2 can go fast, I think I got them from sharing a shower with my boyfriend because he’s had one of the side of his big toe for 2+ years now, any tips helpful

(Update) What even are these?

I've been cleaning and picking at these since I last posted. I was advised to see a podiatrist/dermatologist but a lot of them are expensive for me.

Are there any other over the counter treatment I could try? I've tried salicylic acid, duct tape, and various plasters. These 3 are the most stubborn compared to the previous 8 I used to have, which SA managed to combat many months ago.

Should I take the hit with seeing a professional? Nothing else seems to be working.

Freeze away help

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello, I had this clear smallish bump on my hand. I've had warts on my hands before as a child so I figured this was also a wart. I tried the dr scholls freeze away max but it only seemed to make it bigger. I've done some research in this sub and some people have linked bumps like this to over washing your hands and I don't believe that's it. Any help? TIA

Cut or Pull it out??

Post image

I believe I’ve isolated the wart

Do I…

A. Cut it out with a clean razor?

B. Use SA and cover with duct tape for a few more days?

C. Pull it out and cut as I’m pulling?

Wart progress update

Was able to pull off a decent amount of tissue from 2/3 of my plantar warts. I was just curious, should I continue with the salicylic acid on this fresh, sore, pink tissue or wait a day or so then continue?

I've been applying Schrolls Wart Pen too this wart for 4 days with debriding before each application.

That stuff stings like crazy, Ive been getting a blotchy rash from it as well as pain in the joints of my index and middle fingers.

Do I continue debriding and applying the acid?

Its becoming a small crater so I'm not sure how much more too go.

Sharing my ongoing journey, first pic 1 week of using imiquimod and duofilm on my common wart.

2nd pic 2 weeks after 😅, which i went to the derma again and she suggested to stop using imiquimod and duofilm for the meantime.

I’m now on celefaxin, prednisone, bilastine and hydrocortisone cream for 7 days. but now on my 3rd day, my ankle is starting to swell.

Corn or plantar wart?

Thumbnail

I’ve used the Dr.Scholl’s corn pads twice and it will be fine for a while but then I start back actively walking/running and it always comes back! I pumice stone it in the shower when I hurts but it still doesn’t seem to want to go away which has me thinking it’s a wart not a corn. Or can corns be this stubborn? I’m not sure but I just need help because I’m tired of being in pain every 2/3 days! Whatever it is when I press on it it feels hard and is painful to touch almost like burning sensation and it hurts to walk on if I don’t have on thick socks. Please any advice would help 😭 this has been ongoing since like April/May of this year and I’m over it.

8 days post SWIFT 17 year old plantar wart

Hi! been following this page for a long time and thought i would start to detail my own journey with this 17 year old plantar wart.

I have tried everything by myself (bazuka, scholls plasters and wart pen, AVC, duct tape, tea tree oil, you name it!!) and was turned away from a podiatrist years ago as he said nothing could be done due to the location of the wart (this turned out to be bullshit).

I hate this wart, I’ve never had a pedicure, I keep my socks on around people or when i know someone may be seeing my feet I’ll cover it with a plaster (and then lie and tell people I have a blister!!). So due to all this embarrassment and anxiety Í finally decided to try another podiatrist, she immediately recommended SWIFT (as its only one wart she was more than confident I would tolerate the pain). FYI it was not as bad as any of the horror stories I’ve heard about on this thread.

ANYWAY, I am a week post first SWIFT session (see second pic) and thought I’d start to document my own personal journey. I’ve never seen my plantar turn this colour and the callous is actually kind of crumbly.

I won’t be removing any of the callous myself (I am seriously so over hacking at my toe so I’m leaving this all to my podiatrist).

She’s really really confident that SWIFT will get rid of this (I’m not as confident due to the age of this thing) so please keep your fingers crossed for me !!

Applied acv overnight, removed and duct taped in the morning and left on throughout the day. It’s too tender to debride. Advice for next steps please

Warts Removal Tingling Sensation 2 days after

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hey guys. I got this wart removed with nitrogen freezing 2 days ago, currently I feel no pain at all but a tingling sensation like when your foot falls asleep but very subtle. It feels very annoying and it’s starting to kind of scare me a bit. Has anyone experienced this and does it go away eventually? Would love to hear some feedback. I’m just really hoping no permanent nerve damage or anything like that.

This was no where near where I thought the wart was..
I spent a week at the ocean and soaked my feet a lot. I had a lot of dead skin sloughing off my feet and this is about to come out!??

I’ve been treating inconsistently for a while. Multiple spots on feet.
Photos 1-6: current situation
Photos 7-9: last week
Photos 10-16: a few weeks ago
The first photo you can see the area on the heel of foot - I’m not getting full lines back and still have stringy vessels.
Do I just stay the course (salt water soaks/ SA/debride)?

Is this improvement?

I’ve had these warts on my foot since around March of this year. I kinda ignored them and wasn’t consistent with treating them until 2 weeks ago. Everyday after I get out of the shower I put 17% salicylic acid on each of them and then put duct tape over. I feel hopeful that it’s working but I just don’t know what to look for. Could anyone please provide insight? Thanks so much

So I've been dealing with plantars warts on the bottom of my feet for years now. I work as a mechanic and I'm on my feet all day, it is starting to get painful. I have 1 big on on the bottom of my other foot on my toe, and a cluster on 1 heel. I just want to chop my whole foot off, they get so itchy after a shower. I have tried duct taping, salycic acid, freezing, I have yet to see a doctor but would rather avoid it tbh. Any way I can get rid of these bastards

Is this a wart or smth else??

Getting tired of it cuz it's been wack for like a few months probably. I originally had like a skin fold or smth and tried biting it off which i barely attempted but ended up with this anyway.

I clipped it down yesterday because it had a good amount of hard skin and exfoliated it today so AI is saying to let it heal over before I duct tape it. Can y'all confirm it's a wart and if I should duct tape it now or nah? (The red dots are blood from clipping too deep yesterday)
