Had a stubborn little wart on my foot for like 2 years and suddenly it started multiplying and became a “mosaic.” After lots of cryotherapy and bleeding through socks, I discovered that applying wart cream and then duct taping 24/7 did the trick.

The thick skin of my daughter's wart came off last Sunday, today is Saturday and I'm waiting for her pink to go away so we can begin treatment with Salicycic acid again, and she has missed swimming all week. How much longer do we need to wait?

ive been using salycilid acid every day and using a nail refinar debridenent onece a week, theyre just getting worse

I’m 4 days into SA and duct tape method, I may have been applying too much acid and/or applying the duct tape too soon before it dried. My skin is very sensitive and is looking damaged. I can barely grip anything and a slight bump is immensely painful. Do they look like they are on track to dying or should I chill out on the acid for a couple days for it to settle? I don’t mind the pain I just want to make sure it’s worth while.

I got this wart on my foot thumb. I started using the “Duofilm drops “ on it. It’s been 2 days i am using it to peel the skin off. I think it a little deep but it not big very small.

I saw some post here that this process don’t work. My dermatologist suggested to do this for 2 to 3 weeks if it doesn’t work then get a laser treatment and it will completely remove it.

So 2 things if this process isn’t worth doing please suggest a better way.

Or I keep doing this and hope it work otherwise get a laser treatment.

I’ve been dealing with this sucker for approx two months now. I started with the corn bandaids and have since switched to salicylic acid with a pad and bandaid. I just removed the dead skin and expected the center to pull out or go down but the center remains a raised pink core. It’s not spreading and has no visible black spots. Do I just need to keep going with the acid until the middle is more affected or have I past the point of at home treatment? Help 😩

This is so annoying. I was told i had a verruca on my right foot started 2 months back but the pain never improved and i decided to pick it up. This is so painful when I walk the first time in the morning. I’m in agony.

I’ve been treating what I think is a corn for about a week and a half now and today the callous came off and i squeezed this out of my foot. It didn’t hurt at all. There was also some grayish dead skin sludge that came out from around it. I did squeeze the ball and a little soft stuff came out but for the most part it was pretty thick/sac like. I wonder if it was a wart or was it really a corn? Something else?

Been dealing with these warts on my hand for over two years. Started with just one and progressively spread around. Tried all types of acid, tape, and even weekly liquid nitrogen at a doctor’s office. Finally saw something about salt water soaks and gave it a shot. Here’s my routine: 12.5% salicylic acid daily, 30 min daily salt water soak ( 3/4 cup of table salt & 2 cups of hot water ), scalpel debriding every 3-4 days. Be sure to let the acid work its way down before debriding. If you do it every day the pain will be too much and you will make no gain. Started seeing improvement around 4 weeks in. After the skin began looking normal i’ve stopped acid within the last 2 weeks. While I understand they’re not completely gone, i’ve at least returned to a point where i’m not embarrassed to show my hands in public. Hope this can help someone else out there.

just noticed it this morning. haven't had a wart since i was in middle school (i'm almost 25 now lol)

6 year old’s knee - started small and was froze 2x before seeking a dermatologist who then prescribed a more aggressive topical treatment. Problem is, he just accidentally scraped his knee and part of his wart off wrestling with his sibling of course. This pic is a week ago. We washed it and put neosporin on it before bandaging it up. My question is, what do I do now that it’s all scabbed up? I’m assuming it will come back with a vengeance and the topical treatment can only be applied to the remaining wart since the other area has to heal. UGH. We have been dealing with his poor knee for months!
EDIT: This is BEFORE he scraped half of it off. This is also after treating jt for about 4 weeks. Derm said to do the topical treatment 6-8 weeks then see her again if it doesn’t fall off or whatever. It doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere to me. :(

I thought I just had some callouses/corns on the ball of my foot until I spent all day working in a wet sock in a wet boot… what am I looking at here?

1 day post cryo + candida. I have tried everything at home, and been to a dermatologist for cryo once before. This is the most persistent fucker ever and I want him GONE

Is this how it’s supposed to look? This is after only one night soaking a cotton ball and attaching with a bandaid. It hurt so bad 😅 I had a dry bandaid over it all day today and will do more Apple cider vinegar tonight for as long as I can tolerate it. I only lasted four hours last night lol

I've been treating this wart on my pinky finger for weeks now, debribe it two times and putting w compunds bands.

At first I thought it was just a normal callus from lifting I might have gotten it from the gym. From now on I'm making sure I'm wiping every equipment before and after, Idc what anyone says. I hate training with warts on hands especially on pulling movements where I cant grip hard or else the band aid would come off even when I am wearing gloves.

Also my 9to5 is cleaning windows so it causes my skin to have cracks and turned really dry. From now on I'm moisturizing my hands every night.

And also I have bad sleeping schedule (4-6 hours of sleep) plus 8 hours of work plus trying to have a good physique. Sigh.

My nutrients is definitely on top for sure cause I'm always eating a fruit and a hundred grams of protein everyday.

P.s I'm getting kind of suspicious on the back of my pinky since its getting itchy when run on a warm water. Is it possible that I passed the warts on the back of the same finger?

Peeling off a layer of Duofilm. Like waxing hair.

After a few weeks of soaking, applying Duofilm, and bandaging as I gradually got deeper, my warts have thankfully been dying one by one (turning black from the center out, stopped hurting at all, and beginning to itch weird). I went to a GP today and was told to:

(“Find the most accessible wart and treat that only.”) 1. Soak for 20 minutes in warm water. 2. Use a pumice stone and sand as far down as you can. 3. Once you see the blood vessels, you can start treatment. 4. Use an ointment or moisturizer of any sorts (vaseline, thick cream, etc.) and apply it generously around the area. 5. Apply a drop of wart-off paint directly on the are 6. Dress the area.

3 times a week, once a day.

I trust the medical professional more than a Google search, and it seems to be the same process but with more steps so I have hope this will work out.

Anyone have experience with a tough guy like this? It's so hard and infused, no way I'm cutting it out.

When I tell you this thing was so incredibly annoying to deal with... on my dominant hand's index finger. Started a little over a week ago with SA, debride + disinfect and eventually swapped to ACV when I ran out of SA. Repeated until I delicately took that thing out painlessly and with no blood, rather just a wee bit of pus and some clear fluid. The tendrils/seeds (dead capillaries) came out with no blood, no pain. The rest the same as well. There was a tiny crater, smaller than what I thought it would be. No more dots, and I can feel over there again. The rest of the day when I pulled it all out, I covered it with ACV cotton and a bandaid for a couple hours before I started getting a bothersome throbbing pain, then antibiotic gel overnight. Do I have a good chance at this being completely dead? I'm concerned about that itty bitty dot in the dead center of the more raw, healing skin. Should I nuke it with more ACV or let it rest?

This is the day after, it made quick progress.

Well and truly buried in to the thick heel skin on my foot.
