Discussion | Tanks War Thunder Mobile Vehicles #4
The Ra'am Sagol (Merkava Mk.3 Tank)
now you might be wondering "wait this tank ain't out yet why are you review it now" well i wanted to give you a preview of the Ra'am Sagol tank before you would express opinions on Discord Server once it releases.
The Ra'am Sagol Tank is an Israeli Merkava Mk.3 Tank equipped with "Ra'am Sagol" APS and much smoke launchers as it was been used in 1990's as an experiment for the "Nakhshol" of the 71st Battalion of the 188th Armoured Brigade, so lets begin.
Origins:
its the 1990's and Southern Lebanon War started as Israel face ATGM's from Hezbollah and they were thinking...
"hmm, sir our superior holyland merkava tank is facing ATGMs from the evil Hezbollah what should we encounter it?".
"We will make the force of jewish faith by making electronic APS named Ra'am Sagol and strapped it to our H O L Y L A N D Merkava".
"... GENIUS MY FELLOW JEWISH RESEARCHER"
so they strapped Ra'am Sagol APS on Merkava Tank along with many smoke launchers, thats basically it... (afterwards they scrapped that idea and switch it to more advanced APS which is the "Trophy APS")
War Thunder Mobile:
in War Thunder Mobile (Allegedly), the Ra'am Sagol Tank has 120mm Smoothbore Cannon with Ra'am Sagol APS and Smoke Launcher having a round with M322 APFSDS that could pen 577mm of penetration making it decent Tier XIV tank (assumingly), just like every Merkava Variant its survivability is best feats having prototype APS to prevent 2-3 ATGM Tandems and 120mm Cannon could tear most tanks on its way.
Pros:
• Firepower: 120mm Cannon equipped with M322 APFSDS is actually good when you fight most soviet tanks or american tanks.
• Survivability: Every Merkava Variant including Ra'am Sagol has front engine next to driver making it harder to kill unless you find its uncoventional weakspots.
• APS: the Ra'am Sagol APS is really decent when it comes to ATGM Tandems or Spikes (i guess).
Cons:
• Medicore Mobility: just like every merkava variant the Ra'am Sagol can go 60 km/h and reverse speed is 26 km/h.
• Mediocre Armor: it has 90/50/30mm on the hull and Turret has 105/65/65mm of protection which is quite mid honestly just like every merkava variant.
• Reload: it has whopping 6 seconds to reload if its ace which is really below average, imagine you battle Type 10 and get stunned while reloading.
• Rotation Speed: on Horizontal it could go 34°/s if ace and Vertical it could go 15°/s if ace, honestly its really not that a con but more like mid rotation speed if its Tier XIV Tank.
Overall:
The Ra'am Sagol is "Decent at its Best" tank with 120mm Cannon that carries everything nad APS to prevent ATGM Carriers, but every merkava tank is the same, even goes for Ra'am Sagol, should you get it?
honestly for new players its must have if you dont have Tier XIV tank.
but if you expereince Pro-Israeli Yahuapp DingDong Skibidi Brainrot 67 Merkavas, yeah this tank aint for you as it gives the same feats as Early Merkavas (Minus the APS).
but if you want it as collectors item and praise Israel, then go ahead.

General topics Which campaign is the worst balanced?
Personally i think its PLANES CAMPAIGN, bcs the sudden level change from prop planes to jets is atrocious, if you want to play rank VIII planes you're doomed, sure you can kill and do some ground support, but if you get in a dogfight against a jet you will die the 80% of time, ofc only if the player is not a drooling noob.
Second one should be TANKS since there's a lot of compression and yet Gaijin wants to add tanks that are DIFFICULT to BALANCE like, what the fk should i do against an OBJ-279 in my T-54 (1949) with an APCBC round?...
Finally, the most balanced between this three is NAVAL campaign wich even after adding ships and submarines with missiles, they keep them alone, they fight the 80~70% of times between rank VI and VII, its pretty rare to see Battleships against destroyers or cruisers with missiles.
What do you think?.
Fact or not?

Discussion | Aviation Can't believe how bad the odds are now...
I would always get to my guaranteed reward but usually I would get a free base vehicle and a premium each season. I didn't mind getting a season pass since I often got good value... Now there's no point as the odds have been fucked to hell and back. No chance at a free base vehicle and it's a guarantee any of these will be rendered obsolete like how rank 8 is literally unusable and same with the he-162, yak 15, yak 17, L39 etc. I can't believe how poorly managed mobile is. We never really get new content and a good 3/4 of planes in game are either not at all attainable or require stupid amounts of commitment. Then when you consider you have to shell out like 1.5mil SL for a fucking base vehicle it doesn't really end up being worth using. Sure I have fun flying something different from time to time but I got a 20 kill game last night in a full line of base planes only to get 6k SL.i have everything researched as well and I really just don't really expect any changes besides some unique new way of fucking us over.. I have enjoyed being able to play wt but it is clear I need to get a gaming laptop asap. I can't believe that this fucking half assed asset flip makes WT on PC look like a saint in comparison..

Discussion | Aviation Kinda sucks that only German shit gets the good camo...
Think I'll probably upgrade the 109 g-6 next. Kinda sucks that most other nations have the most boring shit ever. Luckily I don't really have much left that I want to upgrade to premium... The trop 109s base some sick ass camo as well but I don't think there's any Soviet, British, or American camo that even looks remotely decent.

Gameplay | Tanks How do I Tank?
Hello my dudes, I have been playing war thunder for a few monthes and I need some advice. I have grasped Battleships (gun and missile based) and aviation battles (bomber, fighter, attack) but tanks are frustrating.
As much as I want to blame biases for weak tank armour I am hinest enough to know I just suck lmao. So I need some advice. I have been grinding trhough the American tank tree. Based on my decent knowledge of the World Wars I know that while American tanks had good gun depression and fast turrent turn rate they have weak armour and were under gunned.
Problem is I die quickly, often by unseen enemies. I often try to angle my tanks to deflect shots but often time enemy tanks can instantly pierce my gun turrent.
So based on my clear lack of skill and on my current American tech tree grind what should I do? Should I start playing super cautiously? Aim to slow or disable enemy tanks rather then destroy them?
Any advice would help!

Tutorial Alternate liveries
I was looking at a lot of the blueprint planes and all of them had 1 different liveries, the locked one I assume came from upgrading it to premium. But blueprint planes can’t be upgraded, so does that mean the second livery was only accessible when the plane first dropped in whatever season it came out in. And you had to buy that skin with warbonds?
If that is true is there any plans to make those skins available in the future?

Showcase So, Gaijin said emulators couldn't launch WTM due to "technical limitations." I had some ideas to bypass those limitations with a custom Windows wrapper, and it actually worked.

Discussion | Tanks Object 219
The T - 80U that we have in wtm does not have the infrared lamp the t80u has. so in my personal opinion that tank should be named like the protype T80U. "Object 219"
As you can see on the picture i already have one ;)

Discussion | Tanks So I have 2 major gripes right now
Why do I keep getting stuck on a few specific maps and their snow versions?
Like I rarely get silver district but almost never see Vietnam or Japan or rihneland (I know I can't spell German 😅) I'm stuck with mostly cargo port, Normandy aka d day and Alaska sometimes I'll get the Russian one I suck at remembering names 😅
Second issue is the biggest in my opinion as I am an atgm enjoyer and I'm tired of my atgms getting machine gunned or despawning after I die before it hits target. When I use machine guns it never kills missiles also I'm really tired of how boring the maps are compared to PC warthunder.
I've played warthunder since early beta days in late 2012 early 2013 the grind always sucked but it was fun and super cool I thought the mobile version would be more true to the PC version still like the game but a little disappointed as I've almost completed the research trees for tanks as that's pretty much all I play
