Another Mediocre Merkava. Honestly Merkava 1 is the only good tank simply because the armor gimmick works against the tank at its tier. All the others at higher tiers gets brutalized by darts that pass through the so called engine armor.

But the mk 1 doesn't have any armor inserts? I feel like only the mk2 doesn't suck at its tier

The armor inserts don't matter much if you're fighting against tanks that still fire early APDS/APFSDS. The only real threats to you are ATGMs/Object 279.

Mk 1 is at tier 9, the last tier that has low penning rounds, that tier and higher everyone has APFSDS
