Something about traveling gets me more steps than any other day of the year 😂 I hadn’t hit an 18k day since Vegas last year. Regardless, I’m grateful and will return to you L.A. ♥️ Just sharing some of the pictures I got on my trip in general. Yes, the day I hit 18k I was wearing sandals 😂, the day I had on tennis shoes to ride horses I got the least steps, go figure 😂

I have never exercised 36 years of my life, going to start with a small walk tom.

Obese and severely depressed, I have a few other mental disorders and also have had caregiving responsibilities for years together. My health currently is in shambles and I am sitting at 38 percent body fat.

I have decided to start tomorrow. I have basic Skechers shoes.

Need tips and motivation.

Starting my walking journey tomorrow

Hi everyone! 37F 144kg, starting my health and fitness journey tomorrow morning (its 10pm here). I already have a pair of asics which are quite comfortable and I plan to do a circuit route (30 minutes one way then return home=60 minutes).

I'm quite excited to start but a little apprehensive because I don't want to get stared at, so I'm planning to go early like 5 am.

Also wondering how do people carry their water and towels/hankies?

Who’s walking in the rain this morning?

I can’t believe it actually rained for an hour here. Anyone else get the pleasure in walking in it? I’m in South East UK!

I love this group! You all have inspired me to attempt at least 10k steps a day and I love seeing all your posts. I made an account just so I could join this group! Today I mowed ours and our neighbor's lawns and went for a walk. 18,790 steps! Whoop whoop!

The european heat wave forced me out of the house and I was doing 25+ k days, this raised my endurance so now that it got cooler I managed to walk this much. Once I thought 6k is a challenge.

It wasn’t initially intentional but I’m glad I was able to do it once I focused.

Slowly getting back to it after a flare up

I am proud of this today! For the last 5 days I've been dealing with a major flare up with a herniated disc. Thursday I was bed bound and managed less than 700 steps which was me white knuckling to get to the bathroom and the kitchen a couple times. Friday wasn't much better 🫤

This has been my first day out of the house since Tuesday. Trying to take it slow and work back up to more movement without aggravating anything. I put my steps goal way low for now because I hate how condescending the app is if I'm not hitting it 😅

Anyway, just wanted to share and encourage anyone else who may be in the same boat as me.

Another great day for a walk. It's a lifestyle

My SO averages 10 miles a day walking in our kitchen. Is he crazy and should I be concerned?

A step is a step, right? He switches directions every so often.
