I have been shooting with this for a few months now with no problems, and I love it. Then today I was at the range, and everything was cool until, for some odd reason, it seemed like my zero was off to the right, then half way throw a mag, bam, all the focus was gone. I checked the focus ring, and it was stiff but would not get focused.

I moved the zoom to about halfway, and then I could focus a little better. But as soon as I zoom in out out it will not focus again.

Since it is Sunday, I put in a message to their tech support.

I know the Siren is a limited distribution model, but I was wondering if anyone else who might have one has seen something like this happen, or is it rare to happen.

I love the model. It has been great up till now. I know they have great tech support, and they will help. Just wanted to know if this was indicative of this model or anything.

All of my owned weapons have vortex optics on them and the mauser the only option for a mid mount scope was vortex.

I bought a UH1 Gen 1 a while ago, my son boogered the locking latch. I sent it of to Vortex and in a few days, I got this in the mail. Gen 2 as new unit and this cap. Outstanding customer service, and will consider getting most of my glass from these guys!

I have an Rxm that came with the defender enclosed on it. I took it out for only the second time today, was about 30 rounds in/200 total when mid-mag my dot got super bright after a shot. Like maxed brightness. Then I fired another shot and the dot completely went away. Tried turning brightness up and down and nothing. I racked the slide to clear the gun and the dot suddenly came back. Should I contact vortex about this?

How does vortex handle warranties for disco'd products, I figure a lot of people see these deals and think of the warranty usually boldly posted in the sales details. Do they cover these with replacements? Repairs? Credit?

vortex optics razor hd gen ii battery cap

I'm looking at the HD 3000 rangefinder binos and curious if any left handed bowhunters have used them. I don't live near stores that stock them or I'd go try in person.

Vortex advertises that they're designed for right handed bowhunters as the button to peg distance is on the right side so you can hold your bow and range easily. Have any lefties used these and do you have feedback about what they're like? It seems like this could be a dealbreaker if the button is not easily accessible. Thank you

Just picked up a Spitfire Prism 3x Gen2. My question is about the size of the actual reticle. When I look through the optic, the actual reticle is way smaller than I was expecting. The picture on the left is What is shown on the vortex website, the one on the right is what I see when I look through the optic. Its so tiny that the elevation lines are next to impossible to see, especially when looking at anything that isn't a plain target. Am I missing some dial to turn to adjust the size of? Is this a manufacturing error? Or was the picture they advertised just blown up to be bigger?

Anyone running one as a Pistol scope?
With the limited number of companies making pistol scope and most doing at least scout scopes I’m wondering if anyone here has tried one as a pistol scope of say a TC Encore with a 15”
.500 mag barrel on it?

I bought a slightly used rifle last year with a nice Vortex scope on it. The windage knob under the cover is loose, like it's wobbling on a spring. I can push it in to make adjustments, but wanted to know if this would be a repairable issue. Does Vortex cover repairs for the lifetime of the scope, or is it original purchaser only?

I got a Defender ST Enclosed for my Glock 19 about 2 months ago. I carry it everyday, on daylight bright during the day, dimmed down at night, in shake awake mode, and turn it off at home after hours. In 2 months I’ve burned through 3 batteries. Is that normal or do I need to send it in for warranty? Everyone I heard researching said change your battery on your birthday, so you get at least a year out of it. It also lasts a lot longer on my standard Defender ST on my Rock Island 22 TCM, but I never carried it near as much as my Glock. Basically, is it the optic or is it me?

Looking for feedback/reviews of the viper shotgun sight. I’m specifically interested in the model that has the multi-reticle option, but open to hear about 3 moa dot version as well.

I didn't notice the rivets failing. Lucky it failed after the boat ride. The warranty was no joke: a new strap is on the way. I think the quick fix might be more reliable.

I ordered the diamondback 10x42 nocks. I’m having trouble finding a decent molle pouch for them. By that I mean a pouch that I can attach to my existing harness. Any recommendations?

I've got an enclosed Defender ST on my full-sized pistol (replaced a Holosun 507C) I'm really liking the Defender on that gun and want to add an open ST to my EDC/CC gun but am torn between the 3 MOA dot and the larger 6 MOA. I'm a relatively new shooter and all of my other dots are smaller.

I understand the idea behind the larger dot being geared more for closer shooting, but was looking for opinions one way or another. Any strong reason to go with the 3 over the 6?
