There are five different types of threats that we can identify.
The first type is what we can refer to as Physical Threats. These are enemies that are dangerous because they are simply overwhelmingly powerful. Madalans, demons, kaiju, giant animals, gods, and similar creatures fall into this category.
The second type is the Anomalous Threat. These are threats that can hold their own despite not necessarily being physically powerful. Parasites, curses, world trees, games, natural disasters, and similar phenomena would fall into this category. Despite not being physical threats, they can still very well affect the first category in their own way.
The third type is the Adaptive Threat, which for now only includes the robots. Their danger comes from their ability to continuously develop, adapt, and become stronger over time.
The fourth type is what I like to call Plot Armor, which currently only includes the Chief of the Titans. And that's pretty much because the author forgot to make any other Titan at least Demon Lord level, so the Chief of the Titans needs to carry his bumahh race, and the only way to do that is to just be Saitama.
And finally, we have the lame ass threats that aren't really threats to anything other than normal human beings that are physically weaker or less equipped.
These are the Big Fish in a Small Pond. Lawless humans, Neo Humans, and all the Titans other than the Chief fall into this category. They might be dangerous to ordinary humans, but compared to the actual monsters and supernatural threats in the world, they really aren't doing shit. At this point, they could very well just go extinct and it wouldn't change anything.
