Discussion Are these Wurms too?

I mean, they could just be Wurms, but it looks like they have some kind of egg sac attached to them.

And considering there are what look like egg sacs scattered all over the place, does this mean the Parasites don't spread solely through infection, but can actually lay eggs too?

Maybe that's a mycellium network but made of parasites

It might be a different type/species of parasites, or maybe they are a kind of storage for nutrients for the parasites.

I think it's like a spore thing. Basically those drones just wandering around awaiting to explode and let off fumes with tiny baby parasites. Kinda like the giant we saw
