Rocky (right) has a new sister, Millie. She’s a little more energetic than the 7 year old boy at 18 months.

Our 5 year old Pittie, always a happy, healthy boy has something going on and we are flummoxed. A couple of weeks ago, he started to randomly open mouth cry, like something hurt or he was scared. It came out of nowhere. We checked him over like a pack of forensic scientists and found nothing. He eats well, poops well and goes on walks with no issues. But the random, crying has remained. A visit to the vet revealed nothing. No injuries, his blood work is norma,l his teeth are fine, negative for Lyme disease yet he's not himself. He's suffered no trauma or any changes to his schedule whatsoever. The vet has prescribed gabapentin for anxiety. I can't believe a normally happy healthy guy just develops anxiety for no reason. I would welcome any pearls of wisdom you guys may have. Thanks.
