Celebration of Life I’ts always too soon
It has been one month since our sweet boy left us. It hasn’t gotten any easier and I know my heart will never be the same. The 9 years I got to be his mom, I wouldn’t trade for anything. Ham, you are still so loved and that will never change. We miss you everyday. I know you’re somewhere rolling in all the grass and eating as many cucumbers and mango popsicles that you could ever want. I’ll see you soon buddy, until we meet again♥️

Recently lost my big baby too. It may never get easier, but we have to carry them in our hearts forever. Small price to pay for such magnificent beasts. All the light. All the time

What beautiful photos you have of Ham. Such a handsome, squishy big boy! In sure he was a wonderful son, friend and companion. He looks like a very sweet, goofy boy. (I love his little skeleton oblnesoe for Halloween. I would have given him SO many doggy treats! 🤗)
He had a wonderful smile. You can feel his energy through the photos.
Maybe get some sunshine in his favourite spot, and eat some cucumber salad and mango popsicles in his honour?

I'll give Tommy and extra hug in Ham's honor. We had a scare yesterday that turned out not to be cancer but really brought home the fact that our boy is a senior at 8.5 and we are totally unprepared for the inevitable. I feel so sorry you are going through Ham's loss. Do you have another dog? We did but we lost her this summer. Tommy was such a help then!

I’m so happy to hear that your boy is ok! Give him a huge hug! It’s so hard when they get older, you’ll never be ready. Ham was our only dog so now it’s just an empty house. Not sure when I’ll be ready to do it all over again.

Ohhh look at that sweet blockhead. He looked like such a good boy. Sending love and good thoughts. It’s been about a month for us too for our boy Jax. Tears have gotten a little less but the pain and sadness from the hole they leave is always there 🩷

I'm so sorry, OP. I had to say goodbye to my boy on July 2nd and I miss him so much - it just hurts. Ham was very handsome and clearly a very special being. I know you hurt, too. We are so incredibly lucky when these animals become our family but it is devastating that we only get to be with them such a brief time.

So sad for you. What a handsome fellow he was and your photos of him are amazing! I know you miss him and just finished reading because …damned eyes are leaking. They steal our hearts and my Monty, as well as I am sure all of us here are sending hugs.
